Amos 1

NEW JERUSALEM	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 Words of Amos one of the shepherds of Tekoa. The visions he had about Israel, in the time of Uzziahking of Judah and Jeroboam son of Joash, king of Israel, two years before the earthquake.	1 اقوال عاموس الذي كان بين الرعاة من تقوع التي رآها عن اسرائيل في ايام عزّيا ملك يهوذا وفي ايام يربعام بن يوآش ملك اسرائيل قبل الزلزلة بسنتين
2 He said: Yahweh roars from Zion, and makes himself heard from Jerusalem; the shepherds' pasturesmourn, and the crown of Carmel dries up.	2 فقال ان الرب يزمجر من صهيون ويعطي صوته من اورشليم فتنوح مراعي الرعاة وييبس راس الكرمل
3 Yahweh says this: For the three crimes, the four crimes of Damascus, I have made my decree and wilnot relent: because they have threshed Gilead with iron threshing-sledges,	3 هكذا قال الرب. من اجل ذنوب دمشق الثلاثة والاربعة لا ارجع عنه لانهم داسوا جلعاد بنوارج من حديد.
4 I shal send fire down on the House of Hazael to devour the palaces of Ben-Hadad;	4 فارسل نارا على بيت حزائيل فتأكل قصور بنهدد.
5 I shal break the gate-bar of Damascus, I shal destroy the inhabitant of Bikath-Aven, the holder of thesceptre in Beth-Eden, and the people of Aram wil be deported to Kir, Yahweh says.	5 واكسر مغلاق دمشق واقطع الساكن من بقعة آون وماسك القضيب من بيت عدن ويسبى شعب ارام الى قير قال الرب
6 Yahweh says this: For the three crimes, the four crimes of Gaza, I have made my decree and wil notrelent: because they have deported entire nations as slaves to Edom,	6 هكذا قال الرب. من اجل ذنوب غزّة الثلاثة والاربعة لا ارجع عنه لانهم سبوا سبيا كاملا لكي يسلّموه الى ادوم.
7 I shal send fire down on the walls of Gaza to devour its palaces;	7 فارسل نارا على سور غزّة فتاكل قصورها.
8 I shal destroy the inhabitant of Ashdod, the holder of the sceptre in Ashkelon; I shal turn my handagainst Ekron and the remnant of the Philistines wil perish, says the Lord Yahweh.	8 واقطع الساكن من اشدود وماسك القضيب من اشقلون وارد يدي على عقرون فتهلك بقية الفلسطنيين قال السيد الرب
9 Yahweh says this: For the three crimes, the four crimes of Tyre, I have made my decree and will notrelent: because they have handed hosts of captives over to Edom, heedless of a covenant of brotherhood,	9 هكذا قال الرب من اجل ذنوب صور الثلاثة والاربعة لا ارجع عنه لانهم سلّموا سبيا كاملا الى ادوم ولم يذكروا عهد الاخوة.
10 I shall send fire down on the wal s of Tyre to devour its palaces.	10 فارسل نارا على سور صور فتاكل قصورها
11 Yahweh says this: For the three crimes, the four crimes of Edom, I have made my decree and wil notrelent: because he has pursued his brother with the sword, because he has stifled any sense of pity, andperpetual y nursed his anger and constantly cherished his rage,	11 هكذا قال الرب من اجل ذنوب ادوم الثلاثة والاربعة لا ارجع عنه لانه تبع بالسيف اخاه وافسد مراحمه وغضبه الى الدهر يفترس وسخطه يحفظه الى الابد.
12 I shall send fire down on Teman to devour the palaces of Bozrah.	12 فارسل نارا على تيمان فتأكل قصور بصرة
13 Yahweh says this: For the three crimes, the four crimes of the Ammonites, I have made my decreeand will not relent: because they have disembowelled the pregnant women of Gilead in order to extend their ownfrontiers,	13 هكذا قال الرب من اجل ذنوب بني عمون الثلاثة والاربعة لا ارجع عنه لانهم شقّوا حوامل جلعاد لكي يوسّعوا تخومهم.
14 I shall light a fire against the walls of Rabbah to devour its palaces amid war cries on the day of battle,in a whirlwind on the day of storm,	14 فأضرم نارا على سور ربّة فتاكل قصورها. بجلبة في يوم القتال بنوء في يوم الزوبعة.
15 and their king shal go into captivity, he and his chief men with him, says Yahweh.	15 ويمضي ملكهم الى السبي هو ورؤساؤه جميعا قال الرب
