NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 Words of Amos one of the shepherds of Tekoa. The visions he had about Israel, in the time of Uzziahking of Judah and Jeroboam son of Joash, king of Israel, two years before the earthquake.	1 Palabras de Amós, uno de los pastores de Técoa. Esto es lo que vio acerca de Israel en tiempos de Ozías, rey de Judá, y en tiempos de Jeroboam, hijo de Joás, rey de Israel, dos años antes del terremoto.
2 He said: Yahweh roars from Zion, and makes himself heard from Jerusalem; the shepherds' pasturesmourn, and the crown of Carmel dries up.	2 El dijo: El Señor ruge desde Sión y desde Jerusalén hace oír su voz: los campos de pastoreo están desolados y se ha secado la cumbre del Carmelo.
3 Yahweh says this: For the three crimes, the four crimes of Damascus, I have made my decree and wilnot relent: because they have threshed Gilead with iron threshing-sledges,	3 Así habla el Señor: Por tres crímenes de Damasco, y por cuatro, no revocaré mi sentencia. Porque trillaron a Galaad con trilladoras de hierro,
4 I shal send fire down on the House of Hazael to devour the palaces of Ben-Hadad;	4 yo enviaré fuego contra la casa de Jazael, y él consumirá los palacios de Ben Hadad;
5 I shal break the gate-bar of Damascus, I shal destroy the inhabitant of Bikath-Aven, the holder of thesceptre in Beth-Eden, and the people of Aram wil be deported to Kir, Yahweh says.	5 haré saltar el cerrojo de Damasco, extirparé de Bicat Aven a los habitantes y de Bet Eden al que empuña el cetro, y el pueblo de Aram será deportado a Quir –dice el Señor.
6 Yahweh says this: For the three crimes, the four crimes of Gaza, I have made my decree and wil notrelent: because they have deported entire nations as slaves to Edom,	6 Así habla el Señor: Por tres crímenes de Gaza, y por cuatro, no revocaré mi sentencia. Porque deportaron poblaciones enteras para entregarlas a Edom,
7 I shal send fire down on the walls of Gaza to devour its palaces;	7 yo enviaré fuego contra los muros y de Gaza y él consumirá sus palacios;
8 I shal destroy the inhabitant of Ashdod, the holder of the sceptre in Ashkelon; I shal turn my handagainst Ekron and the remnant of the Philistines wil perish, says the Lord Yahweh.	8 extirparé de Asdod a los habitantes, y de Ascalón al que empuña el cetro; volveré mi mano contra Edom, y el resto de los filisteos perecerá, dice el Señor.
9 Yahweh says this: For the three crimes, the four crimes of Tyre, I have made my decree and will notrelent: because they have handed hosts of captives over to Edom, heedless of a covenant of brotherhood,	9 Así habla el Señor: Por tres crímenes de Tiro, y por cuatro, no revocaré mi sentencia. Porque entregaron a Edom poblaciones enteras de cautivos, sin acordarse de una alianza entre hermanos,
10 I shall send fire down on the wal s of Tyre to devour its palaces.	10 yo enviaré fuego contra los muros de Tiro y él consumirá sus palacios.
11 Yahweh says this: For the three crimes, the four crimes of Edom, I have made my decree and wil notrelent: because he has pursued his brother with the sword, because he has stifled any sense of pity, andperpetual y nursed his anger and constantly cherished his rage,	11 Así habla el Señor: Por tres crímenes de Edom, y por cuatro, no revocaré mi sentencia. Porque persiguió a su hermano con la espada y ahogó todo sentimiento de piedad; porque conserva su enojo para siempre y mantiene incesantemente su furor,
12 I shall send fire down on Teman to devour the palaces of Bozrah.	12 yo enviaré fuego contra Temán y él consumirá los palacios de Bosrá.
13 Yahweh says this: For the three crimes, the four crimes of the Ammonites, I have made my decreeand will not relent: because they have disembowelled the pregnant women of Gilead in order to extend their ownfrontiers,	13 Así habla el Señor: Por tres crímenes de los amonitas, y por cuatro, no revocaré mi sentencia. Porque abrieron el vientre de las embarazadas de Galaad, a fin de ensanchar su propio territorio,
14 I shall light a fire against the walls of Rabbah to devour its palaces amid war cries on the day of battle,in a whirlwind on the day of storm,	14 yo incendiaré los muros de Rabá y el fuego consumirá sus palacios, entre gritos de guerra, en un día de combate, entre la borrasca, en un día de tempestad;
15 and their king shal go into captivity, he and his chief men with him, says Yahweh.	15 y su rey irá al cautiverio, junto con todos sus oficiales, dice el Señor.
