3 Yahweh says this: For the three crimes, the four crimes of Damascus, I have made my decree and wilnot relent: because they have threshed Gilead with iron threshing-sledges,	3 Così parla il Signore: « A causa delle tre scelleraggini di Damasco, anzi delle quattro, non lo revocherò, (il decreto), perchè essi han tribbiato Galaad sotto i carri di ferro.
4 I shal send fire down on the House of Hazael to devour the palaces of Ben-Hadad;	4 Ma io metterò il fuoco alla casa di Azael e (il fuoco) divorerà le case di Benadad.
5 I shal break the gate-bar of Damascus, I shal destroy the inhabitant of Bikath-Aven, the holder of thesceptre in Beth-Eden, and the people of Aram wil be deported to Kir, Yahweh says.	5 Io spezzerò le sbarre di Damasco, sterminerò gli abitanti della campagna dell'idolo e, dalla casa della voluttà chi tiene lo scettro della Siria sarà deportato a Cirene, dice il Signore ».
6 Yahweh says this: For the three crimes, the four crimes of Gaza, I have made my decree and wil notrelent: because they have deported entire nations as slaves to Edom,	6 Cosi parla il Signore: « A causa delle tre sceleraggini di Gaza, anzi delle quattro, non lo revocherò (il decreto), perchè han condotta schiava tutta la gente, per rinchiuderla nell'Idumea.
7 I shal send fire down on the walls of Gaza to devour its palaces;	7 La io metterò il fuoco nelle mura di Gaza, e (il fuoco) ridurrà in cenete i suoi palazzi.
8 I shal destroy the inhabitant of Ashdod, the holder of the sceptre in Ashkelon; I shal turn my handagainst Ekron and the remnant of the Philistines wil perish, says the Lord Yahweh.	8 E sterminerò gli abitanti d'Azoto, e da Ascalona chi tiene lo scettro, e moverò la mia mano contro Accaron, e periranno gli avanzi dei Filistei, dice il Signore ».
9 Yahweh says this: For the three crimes, the four crimes of Tyre, I have made my decree and will notrelent: because they have handed hosts of captives over to Edom, heedless of a covenant of brotherhood,	9 Così parla il Signore: « A causa delle tre scel.eraggini di Tiro, anzi delle quattro, non lo revocherò (il decreto), perchè tuttala gente fatta schiava l'hanno rinchiusa in Idumea, e non si son ricordati dell'alleanza dei fratelli.
10 I shall send fire down on the wal s of Tyre to devour its palaces.	10 Contro le mura di Tiro io manderò il fuoco che divorerà i suoi palazzi ».
11 Yahweh says this: For the three crimes, the four crimes of Edom, I have made my decree and wil notrelent: because he has pursued his brother with the sword, because he has stifled any sense of pity, andperpetual y nursed his anger and constantly cherished his rage,	11 Così parla il Signore: « A causa delle tre scelleraggini di Edom, anzi delle quattro, non lo revocherò (il decreto), perchè egli hà perseguitato colla spada il suo fratello, non ha avuta verso di lui la dovuta compassione, ha tenuto oltre i limiti il suo furore, ed ha conservata fino alla fine la sua indignazione.
12 I shall send fire down on Teman to devour the palaces of Bozrah.	12 Io manderò il fuoco in Teman, e ridurrà in cenere i palazzi di Bosra ».
13 Yahweh says this: For the three crimes, the four crimes of the Ammonites, I have made my decreeand will not relent: because they have disembowelled the pregnant women of Gilead in order to extend their ownfrontiers,	13 Cosi parla il Signore: «A causa delle tre scelleraggini dei figli di Ammon, anzi delle quattro, non lo revocherò (il decreto), perchè essi hanno sventrato le donne incinte di Galaad, per allargare i loro confini.
14 I shall light a fire against the walls of Rabbah to devour its palaces amid war cries on the day of battle,in a whirlwind on the day of storm,	14 E metterò il fuoco nelle mura di Rabba, e (il fuoco) divorerà i suoi palazzi, tra gli urli nel giorno della battaglia, in mezzo al turbine nel giorno dello sconvolgimento.
15 and their king shal go into captivity, he and his chief men with him, says Yahweh.	15 E Melcom andrà in schiavitù, egli e i suoi principi con lui — dice il Signore ».
