Daniel 12

NEW JERUSALEM	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 'At that time Michael wil arise -- the great Prince, defender of your people. That wil be a time of greatdistress, unparal eled since nations first came into existence. When that time comes, your own people wil bespared -- al those whose names are found written in the Book.	1 وفي ذلك الوقت يقوم ميخائيل الرئيس العظيم القائم لبني شعبك ويكون زمان ضيق لم يكن منذ كانت امة الى ذلك الوقت وفي ذلك الوقت ينجى شعبك كل من يوجد مكتوبا في السفر
2 'Of those who are sleeping in the Land of Dust, many wil awaken, some to everlasting life, some toshame and everlasting disgrace.	2 وكثيرون من الراقدين في تراب الارض يستيقظون هؤلاء الى الحياة الابدية وهؤلاء الى العار للازدراء الابدي.
3 Those who are wise wil shine as brightly as the expanse of the heavens, and those who haveinstructed many in uprightness, as bright as stars for al eternity.	3 والفاهمون يضيئون كضياء الجلد والذين ردوا كثيرين الى البر كالكواكب الى ابد الدهور
4 'But you, Daniel, must keep these words secret and keep the book sealed until the time of the End.Many wil roam about, this way and that, and wickedness wil continue to increase.'	4 اما انت يا دانيال فاخف الكلام واختم السفر الى وقت النهاية. كثيرون يتصفحونه والمعرفة تزداد
5 I, Daniel, then looked and saw two other people standing, one on the near bank of the river, the otheron the far.	5 فنظرت انا دانيال واذا باثنين آخرين قد وقفا واحد من هنا على شاطئ النهر وآخر من هناك على شاطئ النهر.
6 One of them said to the man dressed in linen who was standing further up the stream, 'How long untilthese wonders take place?'	6 وقال للرجل اللابس الكتان الذي من فوق مياه النهر الى متى انتهاء العجائب.
7 I heard the man speak who was dressed in linen, standing further up the stream: he raised his righthand and his left to heaven and swore by him who lives for ever, 'A time and two times, and half a time; and althese things wil come true, once the crushing of the holy people's power is over.'	7 فسمعت الرجل اللابس الكتان الذي من فوق مياه النهر اذ رفع يمناه ويسراه نحو السموات وحلف بالحي الى الابد انه الى زمان وزمانين ونصف. فاذا تم تفريق ايدي الشعب المقدس تتم كل هذه.
8 I listened but did not understand. I then said, 'My lord, what is to be the outcome?'	8 وانا سمعت وما فهمت. فقلت يا سيدي ما هي آخر هذه.
9 'Go, Daniel,' he said. 'These words are to remain secret and sealed until the time of the End.	9 فقال اذهب يا دانيال لان الكلمات مخفية ومختومة الى وقت النهاية.
10 Many wil be cleansed, made white and purged; the wicked will persist in doing wrong; the wicked willnever understand; those who are wise wil understand.	10 كثيرون يتطهرون ويبيّضون ويمحّصون. اما الاشرار فيفعلون شرا ولا يفهم احد الاشرار لكن الفاهمون يفهمون.
11 From the moment that the perpetual sacrifice is abolished and the appal ing abomination set up: athousand two hundred and ninety days.	11 ومن وقت ازالة المحرقة الدائمة واقامة رجس المخرب الف ومئتان وتسعون يوما.
12 Blessed is he who perseveres and attains a thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.	12 طوبى لمن ينتظر ويبلغ الى الالف والثلاث مئة والخمسة والثلاثين يوما.
13 But you, go away and rest; and you wil rise for your reward at the end of time.'	13 اما انت فاذهب الى النهاية فتستريح وتقوم لقرعتك في نهاية الايام
