Daniel 12

NEW JERUSALEM	KÁLDI-NEOVULGÁTA
1 'At that time Michael wil arise -- the great Prince, defender of your people. That wil be a time of greatdistress, unparal eled since nations first came into existence. When that time comes, your own people wil bespared -- al those whose names are found written in the Book.	1 Abban az időben felkel azonban Mihály, a nagy fejedelem, néped fiainak oltalmazója, és olyan idő jön, amilyen a nemzetek keletkezése óta addig az időig még nem volt. 4 'But you, Daniel, must keep these words secret and keep the book sealed until the time of the End.Many wil roam about, this way and that, and wickedness wil continue to increase.'	4 Te, Dániel, zárd le ezeket a beszédeket, és pecsételd le ezt a könyvet az elrendelt időig; sokan fogják majd azt tanulmányozni, és nagy lesz a tanulsága.«
5 I, Daniel, then looked and saw two other people standing, one on the near bank of the river, the otheron the far.	5 Ekkor én, Dániel, íme, úgy láttam, mintha két más férfi állna ott: az egyik a folyóvíz innenső partján, a másik a túloldalon, a folyóvíz másik partján.
6 One of them said to the man dressed in linen who was standing further up the stream, 'How long untilthese wonders take place?'	6 Erre megkérdeztem attól a gyolcsruhába öltözött férfitól, aki a folyóvíz fölött állt: »Mikor érnek véget ezek a csodás dolgok?«
7 I heard the man speak who was dressed in linen, standing further up the stream: he raised his righthand and his left to heaven and swore by him who lives for ever, 'A time and two times, and half a time; and althese things wil come true, once the crushing of the holy people's power is over.'	7 S hallottam, amint az a gyolcsruhába öltözött férfi, aki a folyóvíz fölött állt, jobbját és balját az égre emelve megesküdött az örökké Élőre: »Egy idő, idők és fél idő múlva, amikor véget ér a szent nép hatalmának pusztítása, akkor teljesedik be mindez.«
8 I listened but did not understand. I then said, 'My lord, what is to be the outcome?'	8 Mivel nem értettem, amit hallottam, így szóltam: »Uram, mi lesz majd ezek után?«
9 'Go, Daniel,' he said. 'These words are to remain secret and sealed until the time of the End.	9 Ő azonban ezt felelte: »Menj, Dániel, mert ezek a beszédek be vannak zárva és le vannak pecsételve az előre elhatározott időig.
10 Many wil be cleansed, made white and purged; the wicked will persist in doing wrong; the wicked willnever understand; those who are wise wil understand.	10 Kiválasztanak és megtisztítanak sokakat, tűzpróbára vetik őket, az istentelenek pedig kegyetlenül cselekszenek. Az istentelenek közül senki sem érti meg ezeket, a tanultak azonban megértik.
11 From the moment that the perpetual sacrifice is abolished and the appal ing abomination set up: athousand two hundred and ninety days.	11 Attól az időtől, hogy megszűnik az örökkön égő áldozat és felállítják a vészthozó undokságot, ezerkétszázkilencven nap telik el.
12 Blessed is he who perseveres and attains a thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.	12 Boldog, aki kitart és eléri az ezerháromszázharmincötödik napot!
13 But you, go away and rest; and you wil rise for your reward at the end of time.'	13 Te csak menj az előre megszabott vég felé; nyugodni fogsz, de a napok végén felkelsz, hogy elnyerd sorsodat.«
