Jeremiah 17

NEW JERUSALEM	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 'The sin of Judah is written with an iron pen, engraved with a diamond point on the tablet of the heartand on the horns of their altars,	1 خطية يهوذا مكتوبة بقلم من حديد براس من الماس منقوشة على لوح قلبهم وعلى قرون مذابحكم
2 while their children remember their altars and their sacred pole beside the green trees, on the lofty hil s.	2 كذكر بنيهم مذابحهم وسواريهم عند اشجار خضر على آكام مرتفعة.
3 My mountain on the plain, your wealth and all your treasures I shal hand over to be plundered,because of the sin of your high places throughout your territory.	3 يا جبلي في الحقل اجعل ثروتك كل خزائنك للنهب ومرتفعاتك للخطية في كل تخومك.
4 You wil have to relinquish your heritage which I gave you; I wil enslave you to your enemies in acountry which you do not know, for my fiery anger kindled by you wil burn for ever.'	4 وتتبرأ وبنفسك عن ميراثك الذي اعطيتك اياه واجعلك تخدم اعداءك في ارض لم تعرفها لانكم قد اضرمتم نارا بغضبي تتقد الى الابد
5 Yahweh says this, 'Accursed be anyone who trusts in human beings, who relies on human strengthand whose heart turns from Yahweh.	5 هكذا قال الرب. ملعون الرجل الذي يتكل على الانسان ويجعل البشر ذراعه وعن الرب يحيد قلبه.
6 Such a person is like scrub in the wastelands: when good comes, it does not affect him since he livesin the parched places of the desert, uninhabited, salt land.	6 ويكون مثل العرعر في البادية ولا يرى اذا جاء الخير بل يسكن الحرّة في البرية ارضا سبخة وغير مسكونة.
7 'Blessed is anyone who trusts in Yahweh, with Yahweh to rely on.	7 مبارك الرجل الذي يتكل على الرب وكان الرب متكله.
8 Such a person is like a tree by the waterside that thrusts its roots to the stream: when the heat comes ithas nothing to fear, its foliage stays green; untroubled in a year of drought, it never stops bearing fruit.	8 فانه يكون كشجرة مغروسة على مياه وعلى نهر تمد اصولها ولا ترى اذا جاء الحرّ ويكون ورقها اخضر وفي سنة القحط لا تخاف ولا تكف عن الاثمار
9 'The heart is more devious than any other thing, and is depraved; who can pierce its secrets?	9 القلب اخدع من كل شيء وهو نجيس من يعرفه.
10 I, Yahweh, search the heart, test the motives, to give each person what his conduct and his actionsdeserve.	10 انا الرب فاحص القلب مختبر الكلى لاعطي كل واحد حسب طرقه حسب ثمر اعماله.
11 'The partridge will hatch eggs it has not laid. No different is the person who gets riches unjustly: hisdays half done, they wil desert him and he prove a fool after al .'	11 حجلة تحضن ما لم تبض محصل الغنى بغير حق. في نصف ايامه يتركه وفي آخرته يكون احمق
12 A glorious throne, sublime from the beginning, such is our Holy Place.	12 كرسي مجد مرتفع من الابتداء هو موضع مقدسنا.
13 Yahweh, hope of Israel, al who abandon you wil be put to shame, those who turn from you wil beregistered in the underworld, since they have abandoned Yahweh, the fountain of living water.	13 ايها الرب رجاء اسرائيل كل الذين يتركونك يخزون. الحائدون عني في التراب يكتبون لانهم تركوا الرب ينبوع المياه الحية.
14 Heal me, Yahweh, and I shall be healed, save me, and I shal be saved, for you are my praise.	14 اشفني يا رب فاشفى. خلصني فاخلص لانك انت تسبيحتي
15 Look, they keep saying to me, 'Where is Yahweh's word? Let it come true then!'	15 ها هم يقولون لي اين هي كلمة الرب. لتأت.
16 Yet I have never urged you to send disaster, I never desired the fatal day, this you know; what camefrom my lips was not concealed from you.	16 أما انا فلم اعتزل عن ان اكون راعيا وراءك ولا اشتهيت يوم البلية. انت عرفت. ما خرج من شفتيّ كان مقابل وجهك.
17 Do not be a terror to me, you, my refuge in time of disaster.	17 لا تكن لي رعبا. انت ملجإي في يوم الشر.
18 Let my persecutors be confounded, not me, let them, not me, be terrified. On them bring the day ofdisaster, destroy them, destroy them twice over!	18 ليخز طارديّ ولا اخز انا. ليرتعبوا هم ولا ارتعب انا. اجلب عليهم يوم الشر واسحقهم سحقا مضاعفا
19 Yahweh said this to me, 'Go and stand at the Gate of the Sons of the People by which the kings ofJudah go in and out -- and at al the gates of Jerusalem.	19 هكذا قال الرب لي. اذهب وقف في باب بني الشعب الذي يدخل منه ملوك يهوذا ويخرجون منه وفي كل ابواب اورشليم
20 Say to them, "Listen to the word of Yahweh, you kings of Judah, al you people of Judah too, and alyou inhabitants of Jerusalem who pass through the gates.	20 وقل لهم. اسمعوا كلمة الرب يا ملوك يهوذا وكل يهوذا وكل سكان اورشليم الداخلين من هذه الابواب.
21 Yahweh says this: As you value your lives, on no account carry a burden on the Sabbath day or bringit in through the gates of Jerusalem.	21 هكذا قال الرب. تحفظوا بانفسكم ولا تحملوا حملا يوم السبت ولا تدخلوه في ابواب اورشليم
22 Bring no burden out of your houses on the Sabbath day, and do no work. Keep the Sabbath day holy,as I ordered your ancestors.	22 ولا تخرجوا حملا من بيوتكم يوم السبت ولا تعملوا شغلا ما بل قدسوا يوم السبت كما امرت آباءكم.
23 They would not hear, would not pay attention; they deliberately refused to listen or accept instruction.	23 فلم يسمعوا ولم يميلوا اذنهم بل قسّوا اعناقهم لئلا يسمعوا ولئلا يقبلوا تأديبا.
24 But if you listen careful y to me, Yahweh declares, and bring no burden in through the gates of this cityon the Sabbath day, if you keep the Sabbath holy and do no work on that day,	24 ويكون اذا سمعتم لي سمعا يقول الرب ولم تدخلوا حملا في ابواب هذه المدينة يوم السبت بل قدستم يوم السبت ولم تعملوا فيه شغلا ما
25 then, through the gates of this city, kings and princes occupying the throne of David wil continue tomake their entry, riding in chariots or on horseback, they, their chief men, the people of Judah and theinhabitants of Jerusalem. And this city wil be inhabited for ever.	25 انه يدخل في ابواب هذه المدينة ملوك ورؤساء جالسون على كرسي داود راكبون في مركبات وعلى خيل هم ورؤساؤهم رجال يهوذا وسكان اورشليم وتسكن هذه المدينة الى الابد.
26 They wil come from the towns of Judah, from the districts round Jerusalem, from the territory ofBenjamin, from the lowlands, from the highlands, from the Negeb, to offer burnt offering and sacrifice, and cerealoffering and incense, to offer thanksgiving sacrifices in the Temple of Yahweh.	26 ويأتون من مدن يهوذا ومن حوالي اورشليم ومن ارض بنيامين ومن السهل ومن الجبال ومن الجنوب يأتون بمحرقات وذبائح وتقدمات ولبان ويدخلون بذبائح شكر الى بيت الرب.
27 But if you do not listen to me to keep the Sabbath day holy, and to refrain from entering the gates ofJerusalem with burdens on the Sabbath day, then I shal set fire to its gates; fire wil devour the palaces ofJerusalem and not be quenched." '	27 ولكن ان لم تسمعوا لي لتقدسوا يوم السبت لكي لا تحملوا حملا ولا تدخلوه في ابواب اورشليم يوم السبت فاني اشعل نارا في ابوابها فتأكل قصور اورشليم ولا تنطفئ
