Leviticus 8

NEW JERUSALEM	LA SACRA BIBBIA
1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	1 Il Signore disse a Mosè:
2 'Take Aaron and with him his sons, the vestments, the anointing oil, the bul for the sacrifice for sin, thetwo rams and the basket of unleavened bread.	2 "Prendi Aronne insieme ai suoi figli, le vesti, l'olio dell'unzione, il giovenco del sacrificio espiatorio, i due capri, il cesto dei pani azzimi,
3 Then cal the whole community together at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.'	3 e raduna tutta la comunità all'ingresso della tenda del convegno".
4 Moses did as Yahweh ordered; the community gathered at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting,	4 Mosè fece come gli aveva comandato il Signore e tutta la comunità fu radunata all'ingresso della tenda del convegno.
5 and Moses said to them, 'This is what Yahweh has ordered to be done.'	5 Mosè disse alla comunità: "Questo è ciò che il Signore ha comandato di fare".
6 He made Aaron and his sons come forward and washed them with water.	6 Mosè fece avvicinare Aronne e i suoi figli e li lavò con l'acqua.
7 He then dressed him in the tunic, passed the waistband round his waist, vested him in the robe and putthe ephod on him. He then put the waistband of the ephod round his waist, fastening it to him.	7 Rivestì Aronne con la tunica, gli cinse la cintura e gli fece indossare il mantello, gli mise l'efod, gli cinse i legacci dell'efod e glielo strinse con essi.
8 He put the breastplate on him, and placed the urim and thummim in it.	8 Gli mise il pettorale e sul pettorale pose gli urim e i tummim;
9 He put the turban on his head, and on the front of the turban, the golden flower; this was the symbol ofholy consecration, which Yahweh had prescribed to Moses.	9 mise il turbante sulla sua testa e sul davanti del turbante mise la lamina d'oro, corona sacra, come aveva comandato il Signore a Mosè.
10 Moses then took the anointing oil and anointed the Dwel ing and everything inside it, to consecratethem.	10 Mosè prese l'olio dell'unzione e unse la dimora e tutti gli oggetti che c'erano in essa e li consacrò:
11 He sprinkled the altar seven times and anointed the altar and its accessories, the basin and its stand,to consecrate them.	11 asperse sette volte l'altare con l'olio e unse l'altare e tutti i suoi arredi, la conca e la sua base, per consacrarli.
12 He then poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron's head and anointed him to consecrate him.	12 Versò l'olio dell'unzione sulla testa di Aronne e lo unse per consacrarlo.
13 Moses then made Aaron's sons come forward; he dressed them in tunics, passed the waistbandsround their waists and put on their head-dresses, as Yahweh had ordered him.	13 Mosè fece poi avvicinare i figli d'Aronne, li rivestì delle tuniche, li cinse con la cintura e avvolse loro il copricapo, come aveva comandato il Signore a Mosè.
14 He then had the bull for the sacrifice for sin brought forward. Aaron and his sons laid their hands onthe victim's head	14 Fece poi avvicinare il giovenco del sacrificio espiatorio; Aronne e i suoi figli imposero le mani sulla testa del giovenco del sacrificio espiatorio,
15 and Moses slaughtered it. He then took the blood and with his finger put some of it on the horns on thecorners of the altar to purify the altar. He then poured the rest of the blood at the foot of the altar, which heconsecrated by performing the rite of expiation over it.	15 e Mosè fece l'immolazione. 17 but the bul 's skin, its meat and its offal he burnt outside the camp, as Yahweh had ordered Moses.	17 Il giovenco, la sua pelle, la sua carne e i suoi escrementi li bruciò con il fuoco fuori del campo, come aveva comandato il Signore a Mosè.
18 He then had the ram for the burnt offering brought forward. Aaron and his sons laid their hands on theram's head	18 Fece avvicinare il montone dell'olocausto e Aronne e i suoi figli imposero le mani sulla testa del montone.
19 and Moses slaughtered it. He poured its blood al around the altar.	19 Mosè fece l'immolazione e sparse il sangue intorno all'altare;
20 He then quartered the ram and burned the head, the quarters and the fat.	20 poi tagliò a pezzi il montone e fece fumare la testa e i pezzi e il grasso;
21 He then washed the entrails and shins, and burnt the whole ram on the altar, as a burnt offering,offered to be a pleasing smel , as food burnt for Yahweh, as Yahweh had ordered Moses.	21 gli intestini e le zampe li lavò nell'acqua. Mosè fece fumare tutto il montone sull'altare: era un olocausto di profumo gradito, un dono al Signore, come aveva comandato il Signore a Mosè.
22 He then had the other ram brought forward, the ram for the investiture sacrifice. Aaron and his sonslaid their hands on its head	22 Fece avvicinare il secondo montone, il montone della consacrazione; Aronne e i suoi figli imposero le mani sul montone.
23 and Moses slaughtered it. He took some of its blood and put it on the lobe of Aaron's right ear, on thethumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.	23 Mosè fece l'immolazione e prese un po' del suo sangue e ne mise sul lobo dell'orecchio destro di Aronne e sul pollice della sua mano destra e sull'alluce del suo piede destro.
24 He then made Aaron's sons come forward and he put some of the blood on the lobes of their rightears, on the thumbs of their right hands and on the big toes of their right feet. Next, Moses poured the rest of theblood al around the altar.	24 Fece avvicinare i figli d'Aronne e mise un po' del sangue sul lobo del loro orecchio destro e sul pollice della loro mano destra e sull'alluce del loro piede destro. Poi sparse il resto del sangue intorno all'altare.
25 He then took the fat: the tail, al the fat covering the entrails, the mass of fat over the liver, both kidneysand their fat, and the right thigh.	25 Prese il grasso, la coda, tutto il grasso che sta sugli intestini, il lobo del fegato, i due reni con tutto il loro grasso e la coscia destra;
26 From the basket of unleavened bread placed before Yahweh, he took an unleavened cake, a cake ofbread made with oil, and a wafer; he placed these on the fat and the right thigh,	26 dal cesto dei pani azzimi, che sta alla presenza del Signore, prese una focaccia azzima e una focaccia di pane all'olio e una sfoglia e le unì alle parti grasse e alla coscia destra.
27 and put it al into Aaron's hands and those of his sons, and made the gesture of offering beforeYahweh.	27 Mise tutto ciò nelle mani di Aronne e nelle mani dei suoi figli e lo agitò nel gesto di presentazione alla presenza del Signore.
28 Moses then took them away from them and burned them on the altar, with the burnt offering. This wasthe investiture sacrifice, offered to be a pleasing smel , as food burnt for Yahweh.	28 Mosè poi riprese ciò dalle loro mani e lo fece fumare all'altare, insieme all'olocausto. Era il sacrificio di consacrazione, di profumo gradevole, dono al Signore.
29 Moses then took the forequarter and made the gesture of offering before Yahweh. This was the portionof the ram of investiture that reverted to Moses, as Yahweh had ordered Moses.	29 Mosè prese il petto e lo agitò nel gesto della presentazione alla presenza del Signore. La parte spettante a Mosè fu presa dal montone della consacrazione, come aveva comandato il Signore a Mosè.
30 Moses then took some of the anointing oil and some of the blood that was on the altar and sprinkledAaron and his vestments, and his sons and their vestments, with it. In this way he consecrated Aaron and hisvestments and his sons and their vestments.	30 Mosè prese un po' dell'olio dell'unzione e del sangue che stava sull'altare e lo spruzzò su Aronne e sulle sue vesti, sui suoi figli e sulle vesti dei suoi figli, e consacrò Aronne e le sue vesti, i suoi figli e le vesti dei suoi figli insieme con lui.
31 Moses then said to Aaron and his sons, 'Cook the meat at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, and eatit there, as also the bread of the investiture sacrifice stil in the basket of the investiture offerings, as I ordered,when I said, "Aaron and his sons must eat it."	31 Mosè disse ad Aronne e ai suoi figli: "Cuocete la carne all'ingresso della tenda del convegno e lì mangiatela con il pane che sta nel canestro del sacrificio di consacrazione, come mi è stato comandato, dicendo: "Aronne e i suoi figli lo mangino".
32 What remains of the meat and bread you wil burn.	32 Quanto resta della carne e del pane bruciatelo con il fuoco.
33 For seven days you wil not leave the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, until the time of your investitureis complete; for your investiture wil require seven days.	33 Durante sette giorni non uscirete dalla porta della tenda del convegno, fino a che si compia il tempo della vostra consacrazione; infatti ci vorranno sette giorni per compiere la vostra consacrazione.
34 Yahweh has ordered us to do as we have done today to perform the rite of expiation for you;	34 Come si è fatto in questo giorno, così il Signore comandò di fare per compiere per voi il rito espiatorio.
35 hence, for seven days, day and night, you wil remain at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting observingYahweh's ritual; do this, and you wil not incur death. For this was the order I received.'	35 All'ingresso della tenda del convegno siederete giorno e notte, per sette giorni, e osserverete la norma del Signore e non morrete, perché così mi è stato comandato".
36 So Aaron and his sons did everything that Yahweh had ordered through Moses.	36 Aronne e i suoi figli fecero tutto quello che aveva comandato il Signore per mezzo di Mosè.
