Leviticus 8

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBBIA RICCIOTTI
1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	1 - Di poi il Signore parlò a Mosè, e disse:
2 'Take Aaron and with him his sons, the vestments, the anointing oil, the bul for the sacrifice for sin, thetwo rams and the basket of unleavened bread.	2 «Prendi Aronne co' suoi figliuoli, le loro vesti, l'olio della consacrazione, il vitello per il peccato, i due arieti, il canestro con gli azzimi,
3 Then cal the whole community together at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.'	3 e fa' radunare tutto il popolo davanti al tabernacolo».
4 Moses did as Yahweh ordered; the community gathered at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting,	4 Fece Mosè come il Signore aveva comandato; e, radunata tutta la moltitudine avanti l'ingresso del tabernacolo,
5 and Moses said to them, 'This is what Yahweh has ordered to be done.'	5 disse: «È questo ciò che il Signore ha comandato di fare».
6 He made Aaron and his sons come forward and washed them with water.	6 E subito fece venir avanti Aronne co' suoi figliuoli. Dopo averli lavati,
7 He then dressed him in the tunic, passed the waistband round his waist, vested him in the robe and putthe ephod on him. He then put the waistband of the ephod round his waist, fastening it to him.	7 vestì il pontefice della veste di lino, stringendolo con la cintura; gli mise la tunica di giacinto, e sovra gl'impose l'omerale;
8 He put the breastplate on him, and placed the urim and thummim in it.	8 stretto questo col cingolo v'applicò il razionale ove era scritto: «Dottrina e Verità».
9 He put the turban on his head, and on the front of the turban, the golden flower; this was the symbol ofholy consecration, which Yahweh had prescribed to Moses.	9 Gli coprì poi il capo con la tiara, e sopra questa, sulla fronte, pose la lamina d'oro consacrata e santificata, come gli aveva comandato il Signore.
10 Moses then took the anointing oil and anointed the Dwel ing and everything inside it, to consecratethem.	10 Prese anche l'olio della consacrazione, col quale unse il tabernacolo e tutta la sua suppellettile.
11 He sprinkled the altar seven times and anointed the altar and its accessories, the basin and its stand,to consecrate them.	11 Poi, dopo aver santificato l'altare aspergendolo per sette volte, lo unse con tutti i suoi arredi e santificò con l'olio la vasca [di bronzo] e la sua base.
12 He then poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron's head and anointed him to consecrate him.	12 Versando poi l'olio sul capo d'Aronne, lo unse e lo consacrò.
13 Moses then made Aaron's sons come forward; he dressed them in tunics, passed the waistbandsround their waists and put on their head-dresses, as Yahweh had ordered him.	13 Fatti quindi accostare i figli di lui, vestì essi pure delle tuniche di lino, li cinse con le cinture, ed impose loro le mitre, come il Signore aveva comandato.
14 He then had the bull for the sacrifice for sin brought forward. Aaron and his sons laid their hands onthe victim's head	14 Offrì poi il vitello per il peccato. Dopo che Aronne ed i suoi figliuoli gli ebbero posto le mani sul capo,
15 and Moses slaughtered it. He then took the blood and with his finger put some of it on the horns on thecorners of the altar to purify the altar. He then poured the rest of the blood at the foot of the altar, which heconsecrated by performing the rite of expiation over it.	15 lo immolò, raccogliendone il sangue. Intintosi il dito, ne toccò in giro i corni dell'altare; espiato questo e santificato, versò il resto del sangue alla sua base.
16 He then took all the fat covering the entrails, the mass of fat over the liver, both kidneys and their fat;and he burnt this on the altar,	16 Il grasso poi ch'era sulle parti vitali, la rete del fegato, e i due reni col grasso ad essi aderente, li bruciò sull'altare:
17 but the bul 's skin, its meat and its offal he burnt outside the camp, as Yahweh had ordered Moses.	17 il vitello con la pelle, le carni e gli escrementi, li bruciò fuori dell'accampamento come aveva prescritto il Signore.
18 He then had the ram for the burnt offering brought forward. Aaron and his sons laid their hands on theram's head	18 Offrì poi un ariete in olocausto; imposte che gli ebbero Aronne e i suoi figli le mani sul capo,
19 and Moses slaughtered it. He poured its blood al around the altar.	19 lo immolò, e ne sparse il sangue intorno all'altare.
20 He then quartered the ram and burned the head, the quarters and the fat.	20 Smembrato poi quell'ariete, ne bruciò sul fuoco il capo, gli arti e le parti grasse,
21 He then washed the entrails and shins, and burnt the whole ram on the altar, as a burnt offering,offered to be a pleasing smel , as food burnt for Yahweh, as Yahweh had ordered Moses.	21 lavati prima gl'intestini ed i piedi; poi bruciò tutt'insieme l'ariete sull'altare, essendo quello un olocausto di soavissimo odore innanzi a Dio che glielo aveva comandato.
22 He then had the other ram brought forward, the ram for the investiture sacrifice. Aaron and his sonslaid their hands on its head	22 Sacrificò poi il secondo ariete per la consacrazione dei sacerdoti; Aronne ed i suoi figliuoli gli posero le mani sul capo.
23 and Moses slaughtered it. He took some of its blood and put it on the lobe of Aaron's right ear, on thethumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.	23 E Mosè, dopo averlo immolato, preso del sangue di quello, ne toccò l'estremità dell'orecchio destro d'Aronne, e similmente il pollice della mano e del piede destro.
24 He then made Aaron's sons come forward and he put some of the blood on the lobes of their rightears, on the thumbs of their right hands and on the big toes of their right feet. Next, Moses poured the rest of theblood al around the altar.	24 Fece poi venire i figli d'Aronne e col sangue dell'ariete immolato toccò a ciascuno l'estremità dell'orecchio ed il pollice della mano e del piede destro; sparse poi il rimanente sangue sull'altare, tutt'intorno.
25 He then took the fat: the tail, al the fat covering the entrails, the mass of fat over the liver, both kidneysand their fat, and the right thigh.	25 Mise quindi da parte il grasso, la coda, tutto il grasso che riveste l'interiora, la rete del fegato, i due reni col loro grasso, e la spalla destra.
26 From the basket of unleavened bread placed before Yahweh, he took an unleavened cake, a cake ofbread made with oil, and a wafer; he placed these on the fat and the right thigh,	26 Prese poi, dal canestro degli azzimi messo innanzi al Signore, un pane non fermentato, una torta cospersa d'olio ed una focaccia; li pose sulle parti grasse e sulla spalla destra,
27 and put it al into Aaron's hands and those of his sons, and made the gesture of offering beforeYahweh.	27 e dette tutto ciò ad Aronne ed a' suoi figliuoli. Dopo che li ebbero elevati innanzi al Signore
28 Moses then took them away from them and burned them on the altar, with the burnt offering. This wasthe investiture sacrifice, offered to be a pleasing smel , as food burnt for Yahweh.	28 ripresili dalle loro mani, li bruciò sull'altare dell'olocausto, essendo il sacrifizio della consacrazione ostia di soave odore al Signore.
29 Moses then took the forequarter and made the gesture of offering before Yahweh. This was the portionof the ram of investiture that reverted to Moses, as Yahweh had ordered Moses.	29 Tolse poi come sua porzione il petto dell'ariete della consacrazione e lo elevò dinanzi al Signore, come il Signore gli aveva comandato.
30 Moses then took some of the anointing oil and some of the blood that was on the altar and sprinkledAaron and his vestments, and his sons and their vestments, with it. In this way he consecrated Aaron and hisvestments and his sons and their vestments.	30 Preso quindi l'unguento ed il sangue che era sull'altare, ne asperse Aronne e le sue vesti, i figli di lui e le loro vesti.
31 Moses then said to Aaron and his sons, 'Cook the meat at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, and eatit there, as also the bread of the investiture sacrifice stil in the basket of the investiture offerings, as I ordered,when I said, "Aaron and his sons must eat it."	31 Santificati così nei loro vestimenti, dette loro questo comando: «Cocete le carni davanti all'ingresso del tabernacolo ed ivi mangiatele; mangiate pure i pani della consacrazione posti nel canestro, come mi ha ordinato il Signore dicendomi: - Aronne ed i suoi figliuoli li mangeranno.
32 What remains of the meat and bread you wil burn.	32 Tutto quello che avanzerà della carne e dei pani, lo consumerà il fuoco. -
33 For seven days you wil not leave the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, until the time of your investitureis complete; for your investiture wil require seven days.	33 Per sette giorni non uscirete dal recinto del tabernacolo, sino al giorno nel quale sarà compiuto il tempo della vostra consacrazione; in sette giorni infatti sarà terminata la consacrazione,
34 Yahweh has ordered us to do as we have done today to perform the rite of expiation for you;	34 come è stato fatto oggi, affinchè siano adempiuti i riti di sacrifizio.
35 hence, for seven days, day and night, you wil remain at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting observingYahweh's ritual; do this, and you wil not incur death. For this was the order I received.'	35 Giorno e notte resterete nel tabernacolo vegliando innanzi al Signore, acciò non abbiate a morire; così infatti egli mi ha ordinato».
36 So Aaron and his sons did everything that Yahweh had ordered through Moses.	36 Ed Aronne e i suoi figli fecero tutte quelle cose che il Signore aveva comandate per mezzo di Mosè.
