Leviticus 8

1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	1 E il Signore parlò a Mosè, e disse:
2 'Take Aaron and with him his sons, the vestments, the anointing oil, the bul for the sacrifice for sin, thetwo rams and the basket of unleavened bread.	2 Prendi Aronne, e i suoi figliuoli colle loro vestimenta, e l'olio d'unzione, il vitello per il peccato, i due arieti, e un canestro cogli azzimi.
3 Then cal the whole community together at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.'	3 E ragunerai tutta la moltitudine all’ingresso del tabernacolo.
4 Moses did as Yahweh ordered; the community gathered at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting,	4 E Mosè fece come avea comandato il Signore, e raunata tutta la turba dinanzi alla porta del tabernacolo,
5 and Moses said to them, 'This is what Yahweh has ordered to be done.'	5 Disse: Questo è quello che il Signore ha ordinato che si faccia.
6 He made Aaron and his sons come forward and washed them with water.	6 E immediatamente presentò Aronne, e i suoi figliuoli. E avendogli lavati,
7 He then dressed him in the tunic, passed the waistband round his waist, vested him in the robe and putthe ephod on him. He then put the waistband of the ephod round his waist, fastening it to him.	7 Rivestì il pontefice della tonaca di lino, e gli pose ai fianchi il cingolo, e gli mise la veste di jacinto, e sopra di questa l’Ephod,
8 He put the breastplate on him, and placed the urim and thummim in it.	8 E serrandolo col cingolo, lo attaccò al Razionale, sopra del quale era (scritto) Dottrina, e Verità.
9 He put the turban on his head, and on the front of the turban, the golden flower; this was the symbol ofholy consecration, which Yahweh had prescribed to Moses.	9 Gli coperse eziandio la testa colla tiara, e sopra di essa alla fronte pose la lamina d'oro consacrata, e santificata, come gli avea ordinato il Signore.
10 Moses then took the anointing oil and anointed the Dwel ing and everything inside it, to consecratethem.	10 Prese anche l’olio d’unzione col quale unse il tabernacolo, e tutte le suppellettili.
11 He sprinkled the altar seven times and anointed the altar and its accessories, the basin and its stand,to consecrate them.	11 E avendo fatta sette volte l'aspersione all’altare santificandolo, unse questo, e tutti i suoi vasi, e santificò coll’olio la vasca insieme colla sua base.
12 He then poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron's head and anointed him to consecrate him.	12 E versando l'olio sulla testa d’Aronne, lo unse, e lo consacrò.
13 Moses then made Aaron's sons come forward; he dressed them in tunics, passed the waistbandsround their waists and put on their head-dresses, as Yahweh had ordered him.	13 E i figliuoli di lui, che eran presenti, rivestì di tonache di lino, e pose il cingolo ai loro fianchi, e mise loro in testa le mitre, conforme avea ordinato il Signore.
14 He then had the bull for the sacrifice for sin brought forward. Aaron and his sons laid their hands onthe victim's head	14 Offerse di poi un vitello per il peccato, e avendo Aronne, e i suoi figliuoli poste sopra il capo di esso le loro mani,
15 and Moses slaughtered it. He then took the blood and with his finger put some of it on the horns on thecorners of the altar to purify the altar. He then poured the rest of the blood at the foot of the altar, which heconsecrated by performing the rite of expiation over it.	15 Lo scannò, e ne attinse il sangue, e intintovi il dito, toccò i corni dell'altare all’intorno: e avendolo espiato e santificato, sparse appiè di esso il resto del sangue.
16 He then took all the fat covering the entrails, the mass of fat over the liver, both kidneys and their fat;and he burnt this on the altar,	16 Il grasso poi, che era sopra le viscere, e la rete del fegato, e i due reni col loro grasso, fece il tutto bruciare sopra l'altare:
17 but the bul 's skin, its meat and its offal he burnt outside the camp, as Yahweh had ordered Moses.	17 Bruciando il vitello colla pelle, e le carni, e gli escrementi fuori dell'accampamento, come avea ordinato il Signore.
18 He then had the ram for the burnt offering brought forward. Aaron and his sons laid their hands on theram's head	18 Offerse anche un ariete in olocausto: e avendo Aronne, e i suoi figliuoli poste le loro mani sopra il capo di esso,
19 and Moses slaughtered it. He poured its blood al around the altar.	19 Lo immolò, e ne sparse il sangue intorno all’altare.
20 He then quartered the ram and burned the head, the quarters and the fat.	20 E tagliato in pezzi l'ariete, ne bruciò sul fuoco il capo, le membra, e il grasso,
21 He then washed the entrails and shins, and burnt the whole ram on the altar, as a burnt offering,offered to be a pleasing smel , as food burnt for Yahweh, as Yahweh had ordered Moses.	21 Avendone lavati prima gl’intestini, e i piedi; così tutto insieme l’ariete lo bruciò sopra l’altare, perché era un olocausto in odor soavissimo al Signore, come questi gli avea comandato.
22 He then had the other ram brought forward, the ram for the investiture sacrifice. Aaron and his sonslaid their hands on its head	22 Offerse ancora un secondo ariete per la consacrazione de' sacerdoti: e Aronne, e i suoi figliuoli posero sopra di esso le loro mani:
23 and Moses slaughtered it. He took some of its blood and put it on the lobe of Aaron's right ear, on thethumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.	23 E Mosè avendolo immolato prese del sangue di esso, e toccò l'estremità dell'orecchia destra d'Aronne, e il pollice della destra di lui, e similmente del piede.
24 He then made Aaron's sons come forward and he put some of the blood on the lobes of their rightears, on the thumbs of their right hands and on the big toes of their right feet. Next, Moses poured the rest of theblood al around the altar.	24 Prese anche i figliuoli di Aronne: e avendo col sangue dell’ariete immolato toccata l’estremità dell’orecchio destro di ciascheduno, e i pollici della mano, e del piede destro; il resto (del sangue) sparse sopra l’altare all’intorno:
25 He then took the fat: the tail, al the fat covering the entrails, the mass of fat over the liver, both kidneysand their fat, and the right thigh.	25 E separò il grasso, e la coda, e tutta la pinguedine, che copre gli intestini, e la rete del fegato, e i due reni col loro grasso, e la spalla destra,
26 From the basket of unleavened bread placed before Yahweh, he took an unleavened cake, a cake ofbread made with oil, and a wafer; he placed these on the fat and the right thigh,	26 E avendo preso dal paniere degli azzimi, che stava dinanzi al Signore, un pane non lievitato, e una stiacciata aspersa d'olio, e una torta, la pose sopra il grasso, e la spalla destra,
27 and put it al into Aaron's hands and those of his sons, and made the gesture of offering beforeYahweh.	27 E diede tutte queste cose insieme ad Aronne, e a’ suoi figliuoli: e dopo che questi l’ebbero elevate dinanzi al Signore,
28 Moses then took them away from them and burned them on the altar, with the burnt offering. This wasthe investiture sacrifice, offered to be a pleasing smel , as food burnt for Yahweh.	28 Mosè le ripigliò dalle mani loro, e le fece bruciare sopra l'altare dell'olocausto, perché era obblazione di consacrazione, e sacrifizio di soave odore al Signore,
29 Moses then took the forequarter and made the gesture of offering before Yahweh. This was the portionof the ram of investiture that reverted to Moses, as Yahweh had ordered Moses.	29 E dopo aver elevato dinanzi al Signore il petto dell'ariete della consacrazione, Io prese per sua porzione, secondo l'ordine datogli dal Signore.
30 Moses then took some of the anointing oil and some of the blood that was on the altar and sprinkledAaron and his vestments, and his sons and their vestments, with it. In this way he consecrated Aaron and hisvestments and his sons and their vestments.	30 E preso l'unguento, e il sangue, che era sopra l'altare, ne asperse Aronne, e le sue vestimenta, e i figliuoli di lui, e le loro vestimenta.
31 Moses then said to Aaron and his sons, 'Cook the meat at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, and eatit there, as also the bread of the investiture sacrifice stil in the basket of the investiture offerings, as I ordered,when I said, "Aaron and his sons must eat it."	31 E dopo di averli santificati, vestiti come erano, comandò loro, dicendo: Cuocete le carni davanti alla porta del tabernacolo, e ivi mangiatele: e mangiate anche i pani della consacrazione, che sono nel paniere, conforme mi ordinò il Signore, dicendo: Li mangeranno Aronne, e i suoi figliuoli:
32 What remains of the meat and bread you wil burn.	32 Quello poi che avanzerà di carne, e di pane, sarà consumato col fuoco.
33 For seven days you wil not leave the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, until the time of your investitureis complete; for your investiture wil require seven days.	33 Voi di più non uscirete dalla porta del tabernacolo per sette giorni, sino al dì, in cui si compie il tempo della vostra consacrazione; perocché in sette giorni si compie la consacrazione:
34 Yahweh has ordered us to do as we have done today to perform the rite of expiation for you;	34 Nella guisa che si è fatto adesso, affinché perfetto sia il rito del sacrifizio.
35 hence, for seven days, day and night, you wil remain at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting observingYahweh's ritual; do this, and you wil not incur death. For this was the order I received.'	35 Dì, e notte starete nel tabernacolo vegliando al servizio del Signore, affinché non muoiate; dappoiché così mi è stato comandato.
36 So Aaron and his sons did everything that Yahweh had ordered through Moses.	36 Aronne, e i suoi figliuoli fecero tutte le cose comandate dal Signore per mezzo di Mosè.
