1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	1 Yahvé parla à Moïse et lui dit:
2 'Take Aaron and with him his sons, the vestments, the anointing oil, the bul for the sacrifice for sin, thetwo rams and the basket of unleavened bread.	2 “Prends avec toi Aaron et ses fils, leurs vêtements, l’huile de consécration, le taureau du sacrifice pour le péché, les deux béliers et la corbeille de pains sans levain,
3 Then cal the whole community together at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.'	3 et rassemble toute la communauté à l’entrée de la Tente du Rendez-Vous.”
4 Moses did as Yahweh ordered; the community gathered at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting,	4 Moïse fit ce que Yahvé lui avait ordonné, et la communauté se rassembla devant la Tente.
5 and Moses said to them, 'This is what Yahweh has ordered to be done.'	5 Moïse dit alors à la communauté: “Voici ce que Yahvé a ordonné de faire.”
6 He made Aaron and his sons come forward and washed them with water.	6 Moïse fit approcher Aaron et ses fils et les lava à l’eau.
7 He then dressed him in the tunic, passed the waistband round his waist, vested him in the robe and putthe ephod on him. He then put the waistband of the ephod round his waist, fastening it to him.	7 Il passa à Aaron la tunique, la serra avec la ceinture. Il lui mit le manteau et l’éphod, qu’il attacha avec la bande de l’éphod, le tout soigneusement attaché.
8 He put the breastplate on him, and placed the urim and thummim in it.	8 Il plaça sur lui le pectoral et, dans le pectoral, il mit les Ourim et les Toumim.
9 He put the turban on his head, and on the front of the turban, the golden flower; this was the symbol ofholy consecration, which Yahweh had prescribed to Moses.	9 Sur sa tête il posa le turban et, sur le devant du turban, la lame d’or, le diadème de sainteté, comme Yahvé avait ordonné à Moïse de le faire.
10 Moses then took the anointing oil and anointed the Dwel ing and everything inside it, to consecratethem.	10 Moïse prit alors l’huile de consécration, il oignit la Demeure et tout ce qu’il y avait à l’intérieur. Il les consacra.
11 He sprinkled the altar seven times and anointed the altar and its accessories, the basin and its stand,to consecrate them.	11 Il aspergea sept fois l’autel, il oignit l’autel et tous ses ustensiles, ainsi que le bassin avec son support, pour qu’ils soient aussi consacrés.
12 He then poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron's head and anointed him to consecrate him.	12 Il versa l’huile de consécration sur la tête d’Aaron et l’oignit pour le consacrer.
13 Moses then made Aaron's sons come forward; he dressed them in tunics, passed the waistbandsround their waists and put on their head-dresses, as Yahweh had ordered him.	13 Moïse fit encore approcher les fils d’Aaron, il les habilla de tuniques qu’il serra avec une ceinture, et leur posa les mitres, comme Yahvé le lui avait ordonné.
14 He then had the bull for the sacrifice for sin brought forward. Aaron and his sons laid their hands onthe victim's head	14 Il fit ensuite approcher le taureau du sacrifice pour le péché. Aaron et ses fils posèrent la main sur la tête du taureau du sacrifice pour le péché,
15 and Moses slaughtered it. He then took the blood and with his finger put some of it on the horns on thecorners of the altar to purify the altar. He then poured the rest of the blood at the foot of the altar, which heconsecrated by performing the rite of expiation over it.	15 puis Moïse l’égorgea, prit du sang, et avec son doigt il en mit sur les cornes de l’autel pour le purifier. Il versa le reste du sang au pied de l’autel et le consacra en faisant sur lui le rite de l’expiation.
16 He then took all the fat covering the entrails, the mass of fat over the liver, both kidneys and their fat;and he burnt this on the altar,	16 Il prit ensuite toute la graisse qui enveloppe les entrailles, l’enveloppe du foie et les deux rognons avec leur graisse, et les fit fumer sur l’autel.
17 but the bul 's skin, its meat and its offal he burnt outside the camp, as Yahweh had ordered Moses.	17 Mais le taureau, sa peau, sa viande et ses excréments, il les brûla hors du camp, comme Yahvé avait ordonné à Moïse de le faire.
18 He then had the ram for the burnt offering brought forward. Aaron and his sons laid their hands on theram's head	18 Il fit approcher le bélier de l’holocauste. Aaron et ses fils posèrent leurs mains sur la tête du bélier,
19 and Moses slaughtered it. He poured its blood al around the altar.	19 puis on l’égorgea et Moïse répandit le sang sur l’autel et autour.
20 He then quartered the ram and burned the head, the quarters and the fat.	20 On coupa ensuite le bélier en morceaux, et Moïse fit fumer la tête, les morceaux et la graisse.
21 He then washed the entrails and shins, and burnt the whole ram on the altar, as a burnt offering,offered to be a pleasing smel , as food burnt for Yahweh, as Yahweh had ordered Moses.	21 On lava dans l’eau les entrailles et les jambes, et Moïse fit fumer tout le bélier sur l’autel, en holocauste d’agréable odeur, un sacrifice par le feu pour Yahvé, comme Yahvé le lui avait ordonné.
22 He then had the other ram brought forward, the ram for the investiture sacrifice. Aaron and his sonslaid their hands on its head	22 Il fit approcher le second bélier, le bélier pour la consécration. Aaron et ses fils posèrent leurs mains sur sa tête,
23 and Moses slaughtered it. He took some of its blood and put it on the lobe of Aaron's right ear, on thethumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.	23 puis Moïse égorgea ce bélier, prit de son sang et en mit sur l’oreille droite d’Aaron, sur le pouce de sa main droite et sur le gros orteil de son pied droit.
24 He then made Aaron's sons come forward and he put some of the blood on the lobes of their rightears, on the thumbs of their right hands and on the big toes of their right feet. Next, Moses poured the rest of theblood al around the altar.	24 Il fit approcher à leur tour les fils d’Aaron. Il mit du sang sur leur oreille droite, sur le pouce de leur main droite et sur le gros orteil de leur pied droit. Puis il versa le reste du sang sur l’autel et autour.
25 He then took the fat: the tail, al the fat covering the entrails, the mass of fat over the liver, both kidneysand their fat, and the right thigh.	25 Il prit ensuite la graisse, la queue, toute la graisse qui couvre les entrailles, l’enveloppe du foie, les deux rognons avec leur graisse et la cuisse droite.
26 From the basket of unleavened bread placed before Yahweh, he took an unleavened cake, a cake ofbread made with oil, and a wafer; he placed these on the fat and the right thigh,	26 Il prit aussi la corbeille de pains sans levain qui était devant Yahvé, un gâteau sans levain, un gâteau pétri à l’huile et une galette, et il posa le tout sur les graisses et sur la cuisse droite.
27 and put it al into Aaron's hands and those of his sons, and made the gesture of offering beforeYahweh.	27 Après avoir remis le tout dans les mains d’Aaron et dans les mains de ses fils, il les balança en offrande devant Yahvé.
28 Moses then took them away from them and burned them on the altar, with the burnt offering. This wasthe investiture sacrifice, offered to be a pleasing smel , as food burnt for Yahweh.	28 Alors Moïse retira le tout de leurs mains et le fit fumer sur l’autel par-dessus l’holocauste: c’était le sacrifice de consécration, un sacrifice par le feu d’agréable odeur pour Yahvé.
29 Moses then took the forequarter and made the gesture of offering before Yahweh. This was the portionof the ram of investiture that reverted to Moses, as Yahweh had ordered Moses.	29 Moïse prit la poitrine du bélier de consécration et la balança en offrande devant Yahvé: ce fut la part de Moïse, comme Yahvé l’avait ordonné à Moïse.
30 Moses then took some of the anointing oil and some of the blood that was on the altar and sprinkledAaron and his vestments, and his sons and their vestments, with it. In this way he consecrated Aaron and hisvestments and his sons and their vestments.	30 Moïse prit alors l’huile de consécration, et de l’autel il prit du sang; il en aspergea Aaron et ses vêtements, les fils d’Aaron et leurs vêtements. Il consacra ainsi Aaron et ses vêtements, ses fils et leurs vêtements.
31 Moses then said to Aaron and his sons, 'Cook the meat at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, and eatit there, as also the bread of the investiture sacrifice stil in the basket of the investiture offerings, as I ordered,when I said, "Aaron and his sons must eat it."	31 Moïse dit à Aaron et à ses fils: “Faites cuire la viande à l’entrée de la Tente du Rendez-Vous. C’est là que vous la mangerez, avec le pain qui est dans la corbeille de consécration, comme je vous l’ai ordonné quand j’ai dit: Aaron et ses fils en mangeront.
32 What remains of the meat and bread you wil burn.	32 Ce qui restera de la viande et du pain, vous le brûlerez.
33 For seven days you wil not leave the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, until the time of your investitureis complete; for your investiture wil require seven days.	33 Vous ne sortirez pas de devant la Tente du Rendez-Vous avant sept jours, avant que les jours de votre consécration soient accomplis, car votre consécration durera sept jours.”
34 Yahweh has ordered us to do as we have done today to perform the rite of expiation for you;	34 Moïse ajouta: “Nous avons fait aujourd’hui, pour l’expiation en votre nom, ce que Yahvé a ordonné de faire:
35 hence, for seven days, day and night, you wil remain at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting observingYahweh's ritual; do this, and you wil not incur death. For this was the order I received.'	35 durant sept jours et sept nuits vous resterez devant la Tente du Rendez-Vous. Vous observerez ces ordres de Yahvé sous peine de mort, c’est ainsi qu’il me l’a ordonné.”
36 So Aaron and his sons did everything that Yahweh had ordered through Moses.	36 Aaron et ses fils firent tout comme Yahvé l’avait ordonné à Moïse.
