1 ' "If someone sins in any of these fol owing cases: "He should have come forward to give evidence whenhe heard the formal adjuration, having seen the incident or known the facts; but he has not spoken out, and sobears the consequences of his guilt;	1 "Se algum, chamado como testemunha, após ter ouvido a adjuração do juiz, peca por não declarar o que viu ou o que soube, levará o peso de sua falta.
2 "or someone touches something unclean, whatever it may be -- the dead body of an unclean animal,wild or tame, or of one of the unclean reptiles -- and without realising it becomes unclean, he becomesanswerable for it;	2 Se alguém tocar, por inadvertência, uma coisa impura, como o cadáver de um animal impuro, de uma fera ou de um réptil impuro, ficará manchado e culpado.
3 "or he touches some human uncleanness, whatever it may be, contact with which makes him unclean;he does not notice it, then, realising it later, he becomes answerable for it;	3 Da mesma forma, se, por descuido, tocar uma imundície humana qualquer, e logo se der conta disso, será réu de culpa.
4 "or someone lets slip an oath to do something either evil or good, in any of those matters on whichsomeone may let slip an oath; he does not notice it, then, realising it later, he becomes answerable for it;	4 Se alguém, por descuido ou irreflexão, jurar fazer qualquer coisa de bem ou de mal, logo que se der conta disso, será culpado, qualquer que seja o juramento inconsiderado.
5 "if he is answerable in any of those cases, he wil have to confess the sin committed.	5 Aquele, pois, que for culpado de uma dessas coisas, confessará aquilo em que faltou.
6 As a sacrifice of reparation for the sin committed, he wil bring Yahweh a female from the flock (sheep orgoat) as a sacrifice for sin; and the priest wil perform the rite of expiation for him to free him from his sin.	6 Apresentará ao Senhor em expiação pelo pecado cometido uma fêmea de seu rebanho miúdo, uma ovelha ou uma cabra em sacrifício pelo pecado, e o sacerdote fará por ele a expiação de seu pecado.
7 "If he cannot afford an animal from the flock as a sacrifice of reparation for the sin he has committed, hewil bring Yahweh two turtledoves or two young pigeons -- one as a sacrifice for sin and the other as a burntoffering.	7 Se não houver meio de se obter uma ovelha ou uma cabra, oferecerá ao Senhor em expiação pelo seu pecado duas rolas ou dois pombinhos, um em sacrifício pelo pecado e o outro em holocausto.
8 He wil bring them to the priest who wil first offer the one intended for the sacrifice for sin. The priest wilwring its neck but not remove the head.	8 Levá-los-á ao sacerdote, que oferecerá primeiro a vítima pelo pecado, quebrando-lhe a cabeça, perto da nuca, sem desprendê-la.
9 He wil sprinkle the side of the altar with the victim's blood, and then squeeze out the rest of the blood atthe foot of the altar. This is a sacrifice for sin.	9 Aspergirá a parede do altar com o sangue da vítima pelo pecado, e o resto do sangue será espremido ao pé do altar; este é um sacrifício pelo pecado.
10 He will then offer the other bird as a burnt offering according to the ritual. This is how the priest mustperform the rite of expiation for the person for the sin he has committed, and he will be forgiven.	10 Fará da outra ave um holocausto segundo os ritos. É assim que o sacerdote fará por esse homem a expiação do pecado que ele cometeu, e ele ser perdoado.
11 "If he cannot afford two turtledoves or two young pigeons, he will bring a tenth of an ephah of wheatenflour as an offering for the sin committed; he must not mix oil with it or put incense on it, since this is a sacrificefor sin.	11 Se não houver meio de se encontrarem duas rolas ou dois pombinhos, trará como oferta, pelo pecado cometido, o décimo de um efá de flor de farinha em sacrifício pelo pecado. Não lhe deitará azeite nem lhe porá incenso, porque é um sacrifício pelo pecado.
12 He will bring it to the priest, who wil take a handful of it as a memorial, and burn this on the altar inaddition to the offerings of food burnt for Yahweh. This is a sacrifice for sin.	12 Trará ao sacerdote, que dela tomará um punhado como memorial, e a queimará sobre o altar, entre os sacrifícios feitos pelo fogo ao Senhor; este é um sacrifício pelo pecado.
13 This is how the priest must perform the rite of expiation for the person for the sin he has committed inany of those cases, and he wil be forgiven. In this case, the priest has the same rights as in the case of a cerealoffering." '	13 É assim que o sacerdote fará a expiação pelo pecado cometido por esse homem, em uma dessas coisas; e ele será perdoado. O que sobrar será do sacerdote, como na oblação."
14 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	14 O Senhor disse a Moisés:
15 'If someone is unfaithful and sins inadvertently by infringing Yahweh's sacred rights, as a sacrifice ofreparation he must bring Yahweh an unblemished ram from his flock, the value of which wil be decided by youin silver shekels according to the rate of the sanctuary-shekel.	15 "Se alguém cometer involuntariamente uma infidelidade, retendo ofertas consagradas ao Senhor, oferecerá ao Senhor em sacrifício de reparação um carneiro sem defeito, tomado do rebanho, segundo a tua avaliação em siclos de prata, conforme o siclo do santuário; este é um sacrifício de reparação.
16 He will make amends for what his sin subtracted from the sacred rights, adding one-fifth to the value,and give it to the priest. The priest wil then perform the rite of expiation for him with the ram for the sacrifice ofreparation and he wil be forgiven.	16 Restituirá o que tirou do santuário, com um quinto a mais, que entregará ao sacerdote. O sacerdote fará a expiação por esse homem com o carneiro oferecido em sacrifício de reparação, e ele será perdoado.
17 'If someone sins and without realising it does one of the things forbidden by Yahweh'scommandments, he will answer for it and bear the consequences of his guilt.	17 "Se alguém pecar, fazendo, sem saber, uma ação proibida por um mandamento do Senhor, será culpado e levará o peso de sua falta.
18 As a sacrifice of reparation he must bring the priest an unblemished ram from his flock to the valuewhich you decide, and the priest wil perform the rite of expiation for him for the oversight unwittingly committed,and he wil be forgiven.	18 Levará ao sacerdote, em sacrifício de reparação, um carneiro sem defeito tomado do rebanho, segundo sua avaliação. O sacerdote fará por ele a expiação da falta cometida por inadvertência, sem saber; e ele ser perdoado.
19 This is a sacrifice of reparation; the man was certainly answerable to Yahweh.'	19 Este é um sacrifício de reparação, porque esse homem era certamente culpado aos olhos do Senhor."
20 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:
21 'If someone sins and is unfaithful against Yahweh by deceiving his fel ow-countryman over a deposit ora security, or by withholding something due to him or by exploiting him;
22 'or if he finds lost property and denies it; 'or if he perjures himself about anything that a human beingmay do criminal y in such matters;
23 'if he sins and so becomes answerable, he must restore what he has taken or demanded in excess:the deposit confided to him, the lost property that he has found,
24 or any object about which he has perjured himself. He will add one-fifth to the principal and pay thewhole to the person who held the property rights on the day when he incurred the guilt.
25 He will then bring Yahweh an unblemished ram from his flock to the value which you decide, to thepriest as a sacrifice of reparation,
26 and the priest wil perform the rite of expiation for him before Yahweh and he will be forgiven, whateverthe act by which he incurred guilt.'
