Leviticus 5

1 ' "If someone sins in any of these fol owing cases: "He should have come forward to give evidence whenhe heard the formal adjuration, having seen the incident or known the facts; but he has not spoken out, and sobears the consequences of his guilt;	1 Se qualcuno ha peccato in una di queste cose: se è testimone perché ha visto o saputo qualcosa e non lo riferisce, nonostante che abbia sentito la formula di scongiuro, porti il peso del suo peccato;
2 "or someone touches something unclean, whatever it may be -- the dead body of an unclean animal,wild or tame, or of one of the unclean reptiles -- and without realising it becomes unclean, he becomesanswerable for it;	2 o se qualcuno ha toccato una qualsiasi cosa impura, come il cadavere di una bestia o di un animale domestico o di un rettile, e non se ne è accorto, è impuro e in stato di colpevolezza;
3 "or he touches some human uncleanness, whatever it may be, contact with which makes him unclean;he does not notice it, then, realising it later, he becomes answerable for it;	3 o se ha toccato un'impurità umana, una qualsiasi cosa con cui ci si può rendere impuri, e non se ne è accorto, quando lo sa, viene a trovarsi in stato di colpevolezza;
4 "or someone lets slip an oath to do something either evil or good, in any of those matters on whichsomeone may let slip an oath; he does not notice it, then, realising it later, he becomes answerable for it;	4 o se qualcuno fa un giuramento sconsiderato, sia in bene che in male, in qualsiasi cosa che possa essere oggetto di giuramento sconsiderato, e non se ne rende conto, quando se ne avvede, viene a trovarsi in stato di colpevolezza;
5 "if he is answerable in any of those cases, he wil have to confess the sin committed.	5 avverrà che, quando si troverà in stato di colpevolezza per una di queste cose, confesserà la cosa in cui ha peccato,
6 As a sacrifice of reparation for the sin committed, he wil bring Yahweh a female from the flock (sheep orgoat) as a sacrifice for sin; and the priest wil perform the rite of expiation for him to free him from his sin.	6 e come vittima di riparazione al Signore per il peccato che ha commesso porterà una femmina del gregge, pecora o capra, in sacrificio espiatorio; il sacerdote compirà il rito espiatorio per lui e lo libererà dal suo peccato.
7 "If he cannot afford an animal from the flock as a sacrifice of reparation for the sin he has committed, hewil bring Yahweh two turtledoves or two young pigeons -- one as a sacrifice for sin and the other as a burntoffering.	7 Se non ha i mezzi per offrire un animale del gregge, porti per il peccato che ha commesso due tortore o due piccioni per il Signore, uno per il sacrificio espiatorio e uno per l'olocausto;
8 He wil bring them to the priest who wil first offer the one intended for the sacrifice for sin. The priest wilwring its neck but not remove the head.	8 li porti al sacerdote che offrirà per primo quello per il sacrificio espiatorio. Gli romperà la testa dalla parte della nuca senza staccarla;
9 He wil sprinkle the side of the altar with the victim's blood, and then squeeze out the rest of the blood atthe foot of the altar. This is a sacrifice for sin.	9 aspergerà con un po' di sangue della vittima espiatoria la parete dell'altare, e quanto resta del sangue sarà spremuto alla base dell'altare: è un sacrificio espiatorio.
10 He will then offer the other bird as a burnt offering according to the ritual. This is how the priest mustperform the rite of expiation for the person for the sin he has committed, and he will be forgiven.	10 L'altro uccello l'offrirà come olocausto, secondo le regole. Il sacerdote compirà il rito espiatorio, liberandolo dal peccato che ha commesso e gli sarà perdonato.
11 "If he cannot afford two turtledoves or two young pigeons, he will bring a tenth of an ephah of wheatenflour as an offering for the sin committed; he must not mix oil with it or put incense on it, since this is a sacrificefor sin.	11 Se non ha i mezzi per offrire le due tortore o i due piccioni, porti come sua offerta per il peccato commesso un decimo di efa di fior di farina; non vi aggiunga olio né vi metta sopra incenso, perché è un sacrificio espiatorio.
12 He will bring it to the priest, who wil take a handful of it as a memorial, and burn this on the altar inaddition to the offerings of food burnt for Yahweh. This is a sacrifice for sin.	12 La porti al sacerdote che ne prenderà una manciata, come memoriale, e la farà fumare sull'altare in onore del Signore: è un sacrificio espiatorio.
13 This is how the priest must perform the rite of expiation for the person for the sin he has committed inany of those cases, and he wil be forgiven. In this case, the priest has the same rights as in the case of a cerealoffering." '	13 Il sacerdote compia per lui il rito espiatorio per il peccato che ha commesso in una di queste cose e gli sarà perdonato. I diritti del sacerdote saranno come nell'oblazione".
14 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	14 Il Signore disse a Mosè:
15 'If someone is unfaithful and sins inadvertently by infringing Yahweh's sacred rights, as a sacrifice ofreparation he must bring Yahweh an unblemished ram from his flock, the value of which wil be decided by youin silver shekels according to the rate of the sanctuary-shekel.	15 "Se qualcuno commette una frode e pecca per inavvertenza, detraendo qualcosa dalle cose sacre che spettano al Signore, porti come sacrificio di riparazione al Signore un capro del gregge, senza difetto, da valutare in sicli d'argento, al tasso del siclo del santuario, per il sacrificio di riparazione.
16 He will make amends for what his sin subtracted from the sacred rights, adding one-fifth to the value,and give it to the priest. The priest wil then perform the rite of expiation for him with the ram for the sacrifice ofreparation and he wil be forgiven.	16 Quello che ha detratto da ciò che è sacro lo paghi, aggiungendovi un quinto, e lo dia al sacerdote; il sacerdote compia per lui il rito espiatorio con il capro del sacrificio di riparazione e gli sarà perdonato.
17 'If someone sins and without realising it does one of the things forbidden by Yahweh'scommandments, he will answer for it and bear the consequences of his guilt.	17 Se qualcuno pecca, facendo qualcosa vietata dal Signore, e non se ne accorge, si trova in stato di colpevolezza e porta il peso del suo peccato.
18 As a sacrifice of reparation he must bring the priest an unblemished ram from his flock to the valuewhich you decide, and the priest wil perform the rite of expiation for him for the oversight unwittingly committed,and he wil be forgiven.	18 Porti al sacerdote come sacrificio di riparazione un montone del gregge, senza difetto, da valutare; il sacerdote compia per lui il rito di espiazione per la mancanza involontaria che ha commesso e gli sarà perdonato:
19 This is a sacrifice of reparation; the man was certainly answerable to Yahweh.'	19 è un sacrificio di riparazione; ha compiuto un sacrificio di riparazione al Signore".
20 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	20 Il Signore disse a Mosè:
21 'If someone sins and is unfaithful against Yahweh by deceiving his fel ow-countryman over a deposit ora security, or by withholding something due to him or by exploiting him;	21 "Se qualcuno pecca e commette una frode contro il Signore ingannando un suo compatriota in materia di depositi, pegni o refurtiva, o se sfrutta il suo compatriota,
22 'or if he finds lost property and denies it; 'or if he perjures himself about anything that a human beingmay do criminal y in such matters;	22 o ha trovato un oggetto perduto e mente riguardo ad esso e giura il falso, a proposito di qualsiasi cosa del genere in cui l'uomo può peccare,
23 'if he sins and so becomes answerable, he must restore what he has taken or demanded in excess:the deposit confided to him, the lost property that he has found,	23 avverrà che quando avrà peccato e si troverà in stato di colpevolezza, restituirà la refurtiva che ha rubato o quanto ha defraudato o il deposito che gli è stato consegnato o l'oggetto perduto che ha trovato,
24 or any object about which he has perjured himself. He will add one-fifth to the principal and pay thewhole to the person who held the property rights on the day when he incurred the guilt.	24 o ogni oggetto riguardo al quale ha giurato il falso; di tutto ciò rimborserà il capitale, aggiungendovi un quinto; lo darà al proprietario il giorno in cui compirà il sacrificio di riparazione.
25 He will then bring Yahweh an unblemished ram from his flock to the value which you decide, to thepriest as a sacrifice of reparation,	25 Porterà come sacrificio di riparazione al Signore un montone del gregge, senza difetto, da valutare, come sacrificio di riparazione.
26 and the priest wil perform the rite of expiation for him before Yahweh and he will be forgiven, whateverthe act by which he incurred guilt.'	26 Il sacerdote faccia per lui il rito espiatorio, alla presenza del Signore, e gli sarà perdonata qualsiasi mancanza di cui si sia reso colpevole".
