Leviticus 5

1 ' "If someone sins in any of these fol owing cases: "He should have come forward to give evidence whenhe heard the formal adjuration, having seen the incident or known the facts; but he has not spoken out, and sobears the consequences of his guilt;	1 Ha valaki bűnt követ el azáltal, hogy hallja annak szavát, aki esküszik, s bár tanúja volt a dolognak, minthogy vagy maga látta vagy tudomást szerzett róla, s nem jelenti be, s így gonoszságát viseli;
2 "or someone touches something unclean, whatever it may be -- the dead body of an unclean animal,wild or tame, or of one of the unclean reptiles -- and without realising it becomes unclean, he becomesanswerable for it;	2 ha valaki valamilyen tisztátalan állatot érint, akár olyat, amelyet a vad tépett szét, akár olyat, amely magától hullott el, akár valamilyen más csúszómászót, s nem tudja, hogy tisztátalanná lett, s így bűnös és vétkes marad;
3 "or he touches some human uncleanness, whatever it may be, contact with which makes him unclean;he does not notice it, then, realising it later, he becomes answerable for it;	3 vagy ha valamelyik embernek a tisztátalanságát érinti, bármely tisztátalanságát, amely tisztátalanná szokott tenni, s nem tudja, de később rájön, hogy vétkessé lett;
4 "or someone lets slip an oath to do something either evil or good, in any of those matters on whichsomeone may let slip an oath; he does not notice it, then, realising it later, he becomes answerable for it;	4 végül ha valaki esküt tesz, kiejtve ajkain, hogy valamit, akár jót, akár rosszat, megtesz, s ezt esküvel és szóval erősíti, anélkül, hogy észrevenné, de később rájön vétkére –
5 "if he is answerable in any of those cases, he wil have to confess the sin committed.	5 ha tehát valaki ezen vétkek egyikébe esik, tartson bűnéért bűnbánatot,
6 As a sacrifice of reparation for the sin committed, he wil bring Yahweh a female from the flock (sheep orgoat) as a sacrifice for sin; and the priest wil perform the rite of expiation for him to free him from his sin.	6 és vigyen áldozatul egy nőstény bárányt vagy egy nőstény kecskét a nyájból, s a pap könyörögjön érte és bűnéért.
7 "If he cannot afford an animal from the flock as a sacrifice of reparation for the sin he has committed, hewil bring Yahweh two turtledoves or two young pigeons -- one as a sacrifice for sin and the other as a burntoffering.	7 Ha nem tud aprómarhát vinni, két gerlét vagy két galambfiókát vigyen áldozatul az Úrnak, egyet bűnért való áldozatul, egyet pedig egészen elégő áldozatul.
8 He wil bring them to the priest who wil first offer the one intended for the sacrifice for sin. The priest wilwring its neck but not remove the head.	8 Adja oda őket a papnak, az meg mutassa be az elsőt bűnért való áldozatul: tekerje fejét hátra a szárnyához, de úgy, hogy rajta maradjon a nyakán, s egészen le ne szakadjon
9 He wil sprinkle the side of the altar with the victim's blood, and then squeeze out the rest of the blood atthe foot of the altar. This is a sacrifice for sin.	9 és hintsen véréből az oltár falára, a többi vért pedig csurgassa az oltár aljára, mert bűnért való áldozat az –,
10 He will then offer the other bird as a burnt offering according to the ritual. This is how the priest mustperform the rite of expiation for the person for the sin he has committed, and he will be forgiven.	10 a másikat pedig égesse el egészen elégő áldozatul, úgy, ahogy az történni szokott. Így könyörögjön a pap érte és bűnéért és akkor bocsánatot nyer.
11 "If he cannot afford two turtledoves or two young pigeons, he will bring a tenth of an ephah of wheatenflour as an offering for the sin committed; he must not mix oil with it or put incense on it, since this is a sacrificefor sin.	11 Ha két gerlét vagy két galambfiókát sem tud bemutatni keze, akkor egy tized éfa lisztlángot vigyen áldozatul bűnéért; olajat ne tegyen bele, s tömjént ne tegyen rá, mert bűnért való áldozat az.
12 He will bring it to the priest, who wil take a handful of it as a memorial, and burn this on the altar inaddition to the offerings of food burnt for Yahweh. This is a sacrifice for sin.	12 Adja oda a papnak, az vegyen belőle egy tele marokkal, s azt égesse el az oltáron, emlékeztetőül arra, aki bemutatta;
13 This is how the priest must perform the rite of expiation for the person for the sin he has committed inany of those cases, and he wil be forgiven. In this case, the priest has the same rights as in the case of a cerealoffering." '	13 így könyörögjön érte és így szerezzen engesztelést neki. A fennmaradt rész a papé legyen, éppen úgy, mint az ételáldozatnál.«
14 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	14 Így szólt továbbá az Úr Mózeshez:
15 'If someone is unfaithful and sins inadvertently by infringing Yahweh's sacred rights, as a sacrifice ofreparation he must bring Yahweh an unblemished ram from his flock, the value of which wil be decided by youin silver shekels according to the rate of the sanctuary-shekel.	15 »Aki hűtlenséget követ el a szertartások ellen és tévedésből valamit bűnös módon elvesz az Úrnak szentelt dolgokból: az vigyen áldozatul vétkéért egy hibátlan kost a nyájból, olyat, amely a szentély súlyegysége szerint két sékelbe kerül,
16 He will make amends for what his sin subtracted from the sacred rights, adding one-fifth to the value,and give it to the priest. The priest wil then perform the rite of expiation for him with the ram for the sacrifice ofreparation and he wil be forgiven.	16 és térítse meg azt a kárt, amelyet okozott, ráadásul tegye hozzá az ötödét, adja oda a papnak. Az könyörögjön érte, mutassa be a kost, és akkor bocsánatot nyer.
17 'If someone sins and without realising it does one of the things forbidden by Yahweh'scommandments, he will answer for it and bear the consequences of his guilt.	17 Aki tudatlanságból bűnt követ el, azáltal, hogy megtesz valami olyasmit, amit az Úr törvénye tilt, s így vétkessé válik, s aztán rájön gonoszságára:
18 As a sacrifice of reparation he must bring the priest an unblemished ram from his flock to the valuewhich you decide, and the priest wil perform the rite of expiation for him for the oversight unwittingly committed,and he wil be forgiven.	18 vigyen áldozatul egy hibátlan, a vétek megbecsült nagyságának megfelelő kost a nyájból a paphoz, s az könyörögjön érte, mivel tudatlanságból cselekedett és akkor bocsánatot nyer,
19 This is a sacrifice of reparation; the man was certainly answerable to Yahweh.'	19 minthogy tévedésből vétkezett az Úr ellen.«
20 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	20 Így szólt továbbá az Úr Mózeshez:
21 'If someone sins and is unfaithful against Yahweh by deceiving his fel ow-countryman over a deposit ora security, or by withholding something due to him or by exploiting him;	21 »Ha valaki bűnt követ el, azáltal, hogy semmibe sem véve az Urat, letagadja felebarátjának nála elhelyezett, az ő hűségére bízott holmiját, vagy valamit erőszakkal kicsikar, vagy hamisságot követ el,
22 'or if he finds lost property and denies it; 'or if he perjures himself about anything that a human beingmay do criminal y in such matters;	22 vagy elvesztett jószágot talál és azt eltagadja, s a tetejébe hamisan meg is esküszik, vagy pedig más olyasvalamit követ el, amivel az emberek vétkezni szoktak –
23 'if he sins and so becomes answerable, he must restore what he has taken or demanded in excess:the deposit confided to him, the lost property that he has found,	23 ha rájön, hogy vétkezett, térítse meg
24 or any object about which he has perjured himself. He will add one-fifth to the principal and pay thewhole to the person who held the property rights on the day when he incurred the guilt.	24 mindazt, amit csalárdsággal szerezni akart, a maga egészében, s ráadásul tegye hozzá az ötödét és adja oda a tulajdonosnak, akinek a kárt okozta.
25 He will then bring Yahweh an unblemished ram from his flock to the value which you decide, to thepriest as a sacrifice of reparation,	25 Vétkéért pedig vigyen áldozatul egy hibátlan, a vétek megbecsült nagyságának megfelelő kost a nyájból, s adja oda a papnak,
26 and the priest wil perform the rite of expiation for him before Yahweh and he will be forgiven, whateverthe act by which he incurred guilt.'	26 s az könyörögjön érte az Úrnál, s akkor az Úr megbocsátja neki mindazt, aminek elkövetése által vétkezett.«
