Leviticus 22

1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	1 Il Signore parlò ancora a Mosè, dicendo:
2 'Speak to Aaron and his sons. They must be consecrated by the holy offerings of the Israelites andmust not profane my holy name; for my sake they must sanctify it; I am Yahweh.	2 « Di' ad Aronne e ai suoi figli che si astengano dalle cose che mi han consacrate i figli d'Israele, e non profanino il nome delle cose da essi offerte e santificate in mio onore. Io sono il Signore.
3 Say to them: "Any one of your descendants, for al time, who in a state of uncleanness approaches theholy offerings consecrated to Yahweh by the Israelites, wil be outlawed from my presence. I am Yahweh.	3 Di' ad essi e ai loro posteri: Chi ella vostra stirpe con qualche immondezza si accosterà alle cose che i figli d'Israele hanno consacrato e offerto al Signore, sarà sterminato dal mio cospetto. Io sono il Signore.
4 "Anyone of Aaron's line who is afflicted with a contagious skin-disease or a discharge will not eat holythings until he is clean. Anyone who touches anything made unclean by a dead body, or who has a seminaldischarge,	4 L'uomo della stirpe d'Aronne che sia malato di lebbra o di gonorrea, non mangerà delle cose che mi sono state consacrate, finché non sia guarito. Chi toccherà uno immondo a cagione d'un morto, chi avrà effusioni,
5 or who is made unclean by touching any kind of reptile or any one who has contaminated him with hisown uncleanness, be it what it may,	5 chi toccherà un rettile o qualunque cosa immonda che comunica l'immondezza,
6 in short, anyone who has had any such contact wil be unclean until evening, and must not eat holythings until he has washed his body.	6 sarà impuro fino alla sera, e non mangerà delle cose santificate; ma lavato che abbia la sua carne,
7 At sunset he wil be clean and may then eat holy things, for these are his food.	7 dopo il tramonto del sole, essendo mondo, potrà mangiare delle cose santificate, perchè sono il suo cibo.
8 "He must not eat an animal that has died a natural death or been savaged; he would contractuncleanness from it. I am Yahweh.	8 Non mangeranno carne di bestia morta o sbranata da altra bestia per non rendersi impuri. Io sono il Signore.
9 "They must keep my rules and not burden themselves with sin. If they profane them, they will incurdeath; I, Yahweh, have sanctified them.	9 Osservino i miei comandamenti per non cadere in peccato e non morire nel Santuario, dopo averlo profanato. Io sono il Signore che li santifico.
10 "No lay person may eat anything holy; no guest or employee of a priest may eat anything holy.	10 Nessun estraneo mangerà delle cose santificate, nemmeno chi sta dal sacerdote a lavorarla lui per mercede;
11 But if the priest has acquired a slave by purchase, the slave may eat it like anyone born in hishousehold; they will share his food.	11 ma il servo comprato dal sacerdote e il servo natogli in casa ne potranno mangiare.
12 "If a priest's daughter marries a layman, she will have no share in the holy things set aside,	12 La figlia del sacerdote sposata ad uno qualunque del popolo non mangerà delle cose santificate e delle primizie;
13 but if she is widowed or divorced and, being childless, has had to return to her father's house aswhen she was young, she may share her father's food. No lay person may share it;	13 ma se essa è vedova, o ripudiata, o senza figli e torna alla casa di suo padre come da ragazza, potrà mangiare i cibi del padre. Ma nessun estraneo potrà mangiarne.
14 anyone who does eat a holy thing by inadvertence, wil restore it to the priest with one-fifth added.	14 Chi per ignoranza avesse mangiato delle cose santificate, aggiungerà un quinto a quel che ha mangiato e lo darà al sacerdote per il santuario.
15 "They may not profane the holy offerings which the Israelites have set aside for Yahweh.	15 Non profaneranno le cose santificate dai figli d'Israele e da essi offerte al Signore,
16 By eating these, they would burden them with guilt requiring a sacrifice of reparation; for I, Yahweh, have sanctified these offerings." '	16 per non portare l'iniquità del loro delitto, mangiato che abbiano delle cose santificate. Io sono il Signore che li santifico ».
17 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	17 Il Signore parlò a Mosè, dicendo:
18 'Speak to Aaron, to his sons, and to al the Israelites and say: "Any member of the House of Israel orany alien resident in Israel who brings an offering either in payment of a vow or as a voluntary gift, and offers itas a burnt offering to Yahweh,	18 « Parla ad Aronne, ai suoi figli e a tutti i figli d'Israele e di' loro: Se uno della casa d'Israele o dei forestieri che abita tra voi farà, come scioglimento di voto o come offerta spontanea, la sua oblazione, qualunque vittima egli presenti al Signore perchè da voi sia offerta,
19 must, if he is to be acceptable, offer an unblemished male, be it bul or sheep or goat.	19 sarà maschio, senza difetto, di fra i buoi o le pecore o le capre.
20 You wil not offer anything with a blemish, for it would not make you acceptable.	20 Se avrà qualche difetto, non l'offrite, chè non sarebbe gradito.
21 "If anyone offers Yahweh a communion sacrifice, either to fulfil a vow or as a voluntary offering, theanimal, be it from the herd or flock, must be perfect, if he is to be acceptable; it must be unblemished.	21 Chi offre al Signore una vittima di sacrifizi pacifici, o per sciogliere un voto, o per offerta spontanea, di buoi o di pecore che sia, la vittima perchè sia gradita sarà senza difetti. Non vi sarà in essa difetto alcuno.
22 You wil not offer Yahweh any animal which is blind, lame, mutilated, ulcerous, scabby or covered insores. No part of such an animal wil be offered on the altar as food burnt for Yahweh.	22 Se sarà cieca, se avrà membra rotte, cicatrice, o pustola, o rogna, o scabbia, non l'offrirete al Signore e non la brucerete sopra l'altare del Signore.
23 As a voluntary offering, you may offer a bul or a lamb that is underdeveloped or deformed; but suchwil not be acceptable in payment of a vow.	23 Un bue o una pecora a cui siano stati tagliati un orecchio o la coda, potrai offrirli come offerta spontanea; ma con esse non si può sciogliere un voto.
24 You wil not offer Yahweh an animal if its testicles have been bruised, crushed, torn or cut off. Youmay not do that in your country,	24 Non l'offrirete al Signore un animale che abbia i testicoli ammaccati, o schiacciati, o tagliati, o strappati, e non fate assolutamente tal cosa nel vostro paese.
25 and you may not accept any such from the hands of a stranger, to be offered as food for your God.Their deformity is a blemish, and they would not make you acceptable." '	25 Dalla mano dello straniero non prenderete pani od altra cosa che egli voglia dare per offrirla al vostro Dio, siccome tutte le loro cose sono corrotte e contaminate, non le accetterete ».
26 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	26 Il Signore parlò a Mosè, dicendo:
27 'A calf, lamb, or kid will stay with its dam for seven days after being born. From the eighth dayonwards, it wil be acceptable as food burnt for Yahweh.	27 « Il vitello, l'agnello, il capretto, natiche siano, staranno sette giorni sotto la madre; dall'ottavo giorno in poi potranno essere offerti al Signore.
28 But no animal, whether cow or ewe, wil be slaughtered on the same day as its young.	28 Tanto la vacca che la pecora non saranno immolate lo stesso giorno coi loro parti.
29 'If you offer Yahweh a sacrifice with praise, do it in the acceptable manner;	29 Se immolate al Signore un'ostia perrendimento di grazie, perchè sia gradita,
30 it must be eaten the same day; you wil leave nothing over til next morning. I am Yahweh.	30 la mangerete lo stesso giorno, senza farne restare per la mattina del dì seguente. Io sono il Signore.
31 'You wil keep my commands and put them into practice. I am Yahweh.	31 Osservate i miei comandamenti emetteteli in pratica. Io sono il Signore.
32 You wil not profane my holy name -- so that I may be honoured as holy among the Israelites, I,Yahweh, who make you holy,	32 Non profanate il mio santo nome, affinchè io sia santificato in mezzo ai figli d'Israele. Io sono il Signore che vi santifico,
33 I who brought you out of Egypt, to be your God, I, Yahweh.'	33 se vi ho tratti dalla terra d'Egitto per esser vostro Dio. Io sono il Signore ».
