Leviticus 22

NEW JERUSALEM	DIODATI
1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	1 IL Signore parlò ancora a Mosè, dicendo:
2 'Speak to Aaron and his sons. They must be consecrated by the holy offerings of the Israelites andmust not profane my holy name; for my sake they must sanctify it; I am Yahweh.	2 Di’ ad Aaronne e a’ suoi figliuoli, che si astengano dalle cose sacre de’ figliuoli d’Israele, e non profanino il mio Nome nelle cose che mi consacrano. Io sono il Signore.
3 Say to them: "Any one of your descendants, for al time, who in a state of uncleanness approaches theholy offerings consecrated to Yahweh by the Israelites, wil be outlawed from my presence. I am Yahweh.	3 Di’ loro: Se alcuno, di tutta la vostra progenie, nelle vostre generazioni, si appressa alla cose sacre, che i figliuoli di Israele avranno consacrate al Signore, avendo addosso la sua immondizia; quella persona sia ricisa dal mio cospetto. Io sono il Signore.
4 "Anyone of Aaron's line who is afflicted with a contagious skin-disease or a discharge will not eat holythings until he is clean. Anyone who touches anything made unclean by a dead body, or who has a seminaldischarge,	4 Niuno, della progenie di Aaronne, che sia lebbroso, o che abbia la colagione, non mangi delle cose sacre, finchè non sia netto. Parimente, se alcuno ha toccata qualunque persona immonda per un morto, o se d’alcuno è uscito seme genitale;
5 or who is made unclean by touching any kind of reptile or any one who has contaminated him with hisown uncleanness, be it what it may,	5 o se alcuno ha tocco qual si voglia rettile, per lo quale sia renduto immondo; o alcun uomo, per lo quale sia renduto immondo, secondo qualunque sua immondizia;
6 in short, anyone who has had any such contact wil be unclean until evening, and must not eat holythings until he has washed his body.	6 la persona che l’avrà tocco sia immonda infino alla sera, e non mangi delle cose sacre, che prima ella non abbia lavate le sue carni con acqua.
7 At sunset he wil be clean and may then eat holy things, for these are his food.	7 E, ciò fatto, dopo che il sole sarà tramontato, sarà netta; e poi potrà mangiar delle cose sacre; perciocchè sono suo cibo.
8 "He must not eat an animal that has died a natural death or been savaged; he would contractuncleanness from it. I am Yahweh.	8 Non mangi il sacerdote alcuna carne di bestia morta da sè, o lacerata dalle fiere, per rendersi immondo. Io sono il Signore.
9 "They must keep my rules and not burden themselves with sin. If they profane them, they will incurdeath; I, Yahweh, have sanctified them.	9 Osservino adunque ciò che io ho comandato che si osservi, e non si carichino di peccato, e non muoiano per esso, se profanano questa mia ordinazione. Io sono il Signore che li santifico
10 "No lay person may eat anything holy; no guest or employee of a priest may eat anything holy.	10 E niuno strano non mangi delle cose sacre; il forestiere del sacerdote, nè il suo mercenario, non mangino delle cose sacre.
11 But if the priest has acquired a slave by purchase, the slave may eat it like anyone born in hishousehold; they will share his food.	11 Ma, quando il sacerdote avrà comperata una persona co’ suoi danari, essa ne potrà mangiare; parimente il servo natogli in casa; costoro potranno mangiare del cibo di esso.
12 "If a priest's daughter marries a layman, she will have no share in the holy things set aside,	12 E la figliuola del sacerdote, se è maritata a uno strano, non mangi dell’offerta delle cose sacre.
13 but if she is widowed or divorced and, being childless, has had to return to her father's house aswhen she was young, she may share her father's food. No lay person may share it;	13 Ma, se la figliuola del sacerdote è vedova, o ripudiata, senza aver figliuoli, e torna a stare in casa di suo padre, come nella sua fanciullezza; ella potrà mangiar delle vivande di suo padre; ma niuno straniere ne mangi.
14 anyone who does eat a holy thing by inadvertence, wil restore it to the priest with one-fifth added.	14 E se pure alcuno mangia alcuna cosa sacra per errore, sopraggiungavi il quinto, e dialo al sacerdote, insieme con la cosa sacra.
15 "They may not profane the holy offerings which the Israelites have set aside for Yahweh.	15 Non profanino adunque le cose sacre de’ figliuoli d’Israele, le quali essi avranno offerte al Signore.
16 By eating these, they would burden them with guilt requiring a sacrifice of reparation; for I, Yahweh, have sanctified these offerings." '	16 E non si carichino d’iniquità di colpa, mangiando le cose da essi consacrate; perciocchè io sono il Signore che li santifico
17 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	17 IL Signore parlò ancora a Mosè, dicendo:
18 'Speak to Aaron, to his sons, and to al the Israelites and say: "Any member of the House of Israel orany alien resident in Israel who brings an offering either in payment of a vow or as a voluntary gift, and offers itas a burnt offering to Yahweh,	18 Parla ad Aaronne e a’ suoi figliuoli, e a tutti i figliuoli d’Israele; e di’ loro: Quando alcuno della casa d’Israele, ovvero de’ forestieri che sono in Israele, offerirà la sua offerta, secondo tutti i lor voti, e le loro offerte volontarie, che offeriranno al Signore per olocausto;
19 must, if he is to be acceptable, offer an unblemished male, be it bul or sheep or goat.	19 acciocchè sia gradita per voi, sia un maschio senza difetto, d’infra i buoi, o d’infra le pecore, o d’infra le capre.
20 You wil not offer anything with a blemish, for it would not make you acceptable.	20 Non offerite nulla che abbia difetto; perciocchè non sarebbe gradito per voi.
21 "If anyone offers Yahweh a communion sacrifice, either to fulfil a vow or as a voluntary offering, theanimal, be it from the herd or flock, must be perfect, if he is to be acceptable; it must be unblemished.	21 Parimente, quando alcuno offerirà al Signore sacrificio da render grazie, o per singolar voto, o per offerta volontaria, sia quello di buoi, o di pecore, o di capre, senza difetto; acciocchè sia gradito; non siavi alcun difetto.
22 You wil not offer Yahweh any animal which is blind, lame, mutilated, ulcerous, scabby or covered insores. No part of such an animal wil be offered on the altar as food burnt for Yahweh.	22 Non offerite al Signore bestia alcuna cieca, nè che abbia alcun membro fiaccato, nè monca, nè porrosa, nè rognosa, nè scabbiosa; e non presentatene alcuna tale in su l’Altare al Signore, per offerta che si fa per fuoco.
23 As a voluntary offering, you may offer a bul or a lamb that is underdeveloped or deformed; but suchwil not be acceptable in payment of a vow.	23 Ben potrai, per offerta volontaria, offerir bue, o pecora, o capra, che abbia alcun membro di manco, o di soverchio; ma per voto non sarebbe gradita.
24 You wil not offer Yahweh an animal if its testicles have been bruised, crushed, torn or cut off. Youmay not do that in your country,	24 Non offerite al Signore alcun animale che abbia i granelli schiacciati, o infranti, o strappati, o ricisi; e non ne fate di tali nel vostro paese.
25 and you may not accept any such from the hands of a stranger, to be offered as food for your God.Their deformity is a blemish, and they would not make you acceptable." '	25 Nè prendetene alcuni di man degli stranieri, per offerirne cibo al Signore; perciocchè il lor vizio è in essi; v’è in essi difetto; non sarebbero graditi per voi.
26 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	26 Il Signore parlò ancora a Mosè dicendo:
27 'A calf, lamb, or kid will stay with its dam for seven days after being born. From the eighth dayonwards, it wil be acceptable as food burnt for Yahweh.	27 Quando sarà nato un vitello, o un agnello, o un capretto, stia sette giorni sotto la madre; poi dall’ottavo giorno innanzi, sarà gradito per offerta da ardere al Signore.
28 But no animal, whether cow or ewe, wil be slaughtered on the same day as its young.	28 E non iscannate in uno stesso giorno la vacca, o la pecora, o la capra, col suo figlio.
29 'If you offer Yahweh a sacrifice with praise, do it in the acceptable manner;	29 E quando voi sacrificherete al Signore sacrificio di laude, sacrificatelo in maniera ch’egli sia gradito per voi.
30 it must be eaten the same day; you wil leave nothing over til next morning. I am Yahweh.	30 Mangisi nell’istesso giorno; non ne lasciate nulla di avanzo fino alla mattina seguente. Io sono il Signore.
31 'You wil keep my commands and put them into practice. I am Yahweh.	31 E osservate i miei comandamenti, e metteteli in opera. Io sono il Signore.
32 You wil not profane my holy name -- so that I may be honoured as holy among the Israelites, I,Yahweh, who make you holy,	32 E non profanate il mio santo Nome; onde io mi santifichi me stesso nel mezzo de’ figliuoli d’Israele. Io sono il Signore che vi santifico;
33 I who brought you out of Egypt, to be your God, I, Yahweh.'	33 che vi ho tratti fuor del paese di Egitto, per essere vostro Dio. Io sono il Signore
