Leviticus 22

1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	1 - Disse ancora il Signore a Mosè così:
2 'Speak to Aaron and his sons. They must be consecrated by the holy offerings of the Israelites andmust not profane my holy name; for my sake they must sanctify it; I am Yahweh.	2 «Dirai ad Aronne ed a' figliuoli che guardino bene alle cose consacratemi da' figli d'Israele, per non profanare le cose messe da parte per me, che essi mi offrono. Io il Signore.
3 Say to them: "Any one of your descendants, for al time, who in a state of uncleanness approaches theholy offerings consecrated to Yahweh by the Israelites, wil be outlawed from my presence. I am Yahweh.	3 Dirai a loro ed ai loro discendenti: - Ogni uomo della vostra stirpe, il quale avendo qualche immondezza s'accosterà alle cose state consacrate ed offerte dai figli d'Israele al Signore, perirà innanzi al Signore. Son io il Signore.
4 "Anyone of Aaron's line who is afflicted with a contagious skin-disease or a discharge will not eat holythings until he is clean. Anyone who touches anything made unclean by a dead body, or who has a seminaldischarge,	4 Un discendente d' Aronne che sia lebbroso, o soffra di perdite, non mangerà delle cose state santificate per me, sinchè non sia risanato. Chi avrà contratto immondezza per via di un morto o avrà versato del proprio umore,
5 or who is made unclean by touching any kind of reptile or any one who has contaminated him with hisown uncleanness, be it what it may,	5 o avrà toccato un rettile o qualsiasi cosa immonda il cui contatto arrechi impurità,
6 in short, anyone who has had any such contact wil be unclean until evening, and must not eat holythings until he has washed his body.	6 sarà immondo sino a sera, e non mangerà delle cose santificate; ma quando si sarà lavata la persona nell'acqua,
7 At sunset he wil be clean and may then eat holy things, for these are his food.	7 ed il sole sarà tramontato, allora essendo tornato mondo mangerà delle cose santificate, perchè sono sua porzione.
8 "He must not eat an animal that has died a natural death or been savaged; he would contractuncleanness from it. I am Yahweh.	8 Non mangeranno d'un animale morto da sè, o ucciso da una bestia, nè si contamineranno per esso. Io sono il Signore.
9 "They must keep my rules and not burden themselves with sin. If they profane them, they will incurdeath; I, Yahweh, have sanctified them.	9 Osservino i miei comandamenti, per non divenir rei di peccato, e morire nel santuario dopo averlo profanato. Io il Signore che li voglio santi.
10 "No lay person may eat anything holy; no guest or employee of a priest may eat anything holy.	10 Nessuno straniero mangerà delle cose consacrate; nemmeno l'ospite ed il mercenario del sacerdote ne mangeranno;
11 But if the priest has acquired a slave by purchase, the slave may eat it like anyone born in hishousehold; they will share his food.	11 ma il servo comprato dal sacerdote e quello nato in casa di lui ne mangeranno.
12 "If a priest's daughter marries a layman, she will have no share in the holy things set aside,	12 Se la figlia di un sacerdote s'è maritata ad uno qualunque del popolo, non mangerà delle cose santificate e delle primizie;
13 but if she is widowed or divorced and, being childless, has had to return to her father's house aswhen she was young, she may share her father's food. No lay person may share it;	13 ma se diventata vedova o ripudiata senza figli sarà tornata alla casa del padre suo, allora si ciberà dei cibi del padre suo come faceva da ragazza. Nessun forestiero ha facoltà di mangiarne.
14 anyone who does eat a holy thing by inadvertence, wil restore it to the priest with one-fifth added.	14 Chi per ignoranza mangerà delle cose santificate aggiungerà un quinto a ciò che n'ha mangiato, e lo darà al sacerdote nel santuario.
15 "They may not profane the holy offerings which the Israelites have set aside for Yahweh.	15 Non profaneranno le cose santificate dai figli d'Israele per offrirle al Signore,
16 By eating these, they would burden them with guilt requiring a sacrifice of reparation; for I, Yahweh, have sanctified these offerings." '	16 acciò non abbiano a portar la pena del loro delitto d'aver mangiato cose santificate. Io il Signore che li voglio santi -».
17 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	17 Ed il Signore disse a Mosè:
18 'Speak to Aaron, to his sons, and to al the Israelites and say: "Any member of the House of Israel orany alien resident in Israel who brings an offering either in payment of a vow or as a voluntary gift, and offers itas a burnt offering to Yahweh,	18 «Parla ad Aronne, ai suoi figliuoli, ed a tutti i figliuoli di Israele, dicendo loro: - Se uno della casa d'Israele, o dei forestieri che abitano con voi vorrà fare un sacrifizio, in adempimento d'un voto o di sua spontanea volontà, quel che offrirà in olocausto al Signore
19 must, if he is to be acceptable, offer an unblemished male, be it bul or sheep or goat.	19 per esser da voi immolato, sarà un maschio senza macchia, o bove o pecora o capra;
20 You wil not offer anything with a blemish, for it would not make you acceptable.	20 se avrà un difetto non l'offrirete, e non sarebbe accetto al Signore.
21 "If anyone offers Yahweh a communion sacrifice, either to fulfil a vow or as a voluntary offering, theanimal, be it from the herd or flock, must be perfect, if he is to be acceptable; it must be unblemished.	21 Quando un uomo offre al Signore un'ostia pacifica in adempimento di un voto o per libera offerta, sia di bovi come di pecore, l'offra senza macchia, acciò sia gradita; non sia in essa macchia alcuna.
22 You wil not offer Yahweh any animal which is blind, lame, mutilated, ulcerous, scabby or covered insores. No part of such an animal wil be offered on the altar as food burnt for Yahweh.	22 Un animale cieco, o con qualche membro rotto, con cicatrici o pustole o rogna o scabbia, non l'offrite al Signore e non ne bruciate di simili sull'altare del Signore.
23 As a voluntary offering, you may offer a bul or a lamb that is underdeveloped or deformed; but suchwil not be acceptable in payment of a vow.	23 Un bove o una pecora che abbiano tagliati gli orecchi o la coda, potrai offrirli volontariamente ma non si può con essi sciogliere un voto.
24 You wil not offer Yahweh an animal if its testicles have been bruised, crushed, torn or cut off. Youmay not do that in your country,	24 Non offrite al Signore alcun animale che abbia i testicoli ammaccati o schiacciati, o tagliati e asportati; non fate mai di queste cose nel vostro paese.
25 and you may not accept any such from the hands of a stranger, to be offered as food for your God.Their deformity is a blemish, and they would not make you acceptable." '	25 Non riceverete dallo straniero, per offrirli al Dio vostro nè pani nè qualsiasi altra cosa volesse darvi, perchè son tutte cose corrotte e macchiate; non le ricevete -».
26 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	26 Disse inoltre il Signore a Mosè:
27 'A calf, lamb, or kid will stay with its dam for seven days after being born. From the eighth dayonwards, it wil be acceptable as food burnt for Yahweh.	27 «Il vitello, l'agnello, il capretto, per sette giorni dalla loro nascita stiano alle mammelle della loro madre; dall'ottavo giorno in poi, potranno esser offerti al Signore.
28 But no animal, whether cow or ewe, wil be slaughtered on the same day as its young.	28 Ma tanto una vacca quanto una pecora, non siano immolate in uno stesso giorno coi loro parti.
29 'If you offer Yahweh a sacrifice with praise, do it in the acceptable manner;	29 Quando immolerete in rendimento di grazie al Signore una vittima per averlo propizio,
30 it must be eaten the same day; you wil leave nothing over til next morning. I am Yahweh.	30 mangiatela in quello stesso giorno; non ne rimanga alcunchè per la mattina del giorno appresso. Io il Signore.
31 'You wil keep my commands and put them into practice. I am Yahweh.	31 Custodite i miei comandamenti ed osservateli. Io il Signore.
32 You wil not profane my holy name -- so that I may be honoured as holy among the Israelites, I,Yahweh, who make you holy,	32 Non profanate il mio santo nome, affinchè io sia glorificato in mezzo ai figli d'Israele. Io il Signore che vi santifico,
33 I who brought you out of Egypt, to be your God, I, Yahweh.'	33 che vi cavai dalla terra d'Egitto per essere il vostro Dio. Io il Signore».
