Isaiah 30

NEW JERUSALEM	Біблія
1 Woe to the rebel ious children -- declares Yahweh -- who make plans which do not come from me andmake al iances not inspired by me, and so add sin to sin!	1 Ой горе дітям бунтівливим, — слово Господнє, — що плекають задуми, та й не від мене, що входять у союз, та не в моїм дусі, що гріхи на гріхи громадять,
2 They are leaving for Egypt, without consulting me, to take refuge in Pharaoh's protection, to shelter inEgypt's shadow.	2 що йдуть у дорогу в Єгипет, моїх уст не спитавшись, щоб шукати охорони в силі фараона, щоб захиститися в тіні Єгипту!
3 Pharaoh's protection will be your shame, the shelter of Egypt's shadow your confounding.	3 Охорона фараона вийде вам на сором, і захист у тіні Єгипту вам на ганьбу.
4 For his princes have gone to Zoan and his messengers have reached Hanes.	4 Бо князі його прибули в Цоан, посли його дійшли аж до Ханесу.
5 Everyone has been disappointed by a people who cannot help, who bring neither aid nor profit, onlydisappointment and confusion.	5 Та всі вони засоромляться з-за люду, що буде не на користь. Не буде їм від нього ні підмоги, ані користи, хіба тільки сором, ганьба.
6 Proclamation about the beasts of the Negeb: Into the land of distress and of anguish, of lioness androaring lion, of viper and flying dragon, they bear their riches on donkeys' backs, their treasures on camels'humps, to a nation that cannot help:	6 Пророцтво про звірів у Негеві: — Через країну суму та смутку й ревучих левів, гадів та летючих зміїв вони привозять на ослячих хребтах свої багатства та на горбах верблюжих свої скарби народові, який їм допомогти не може.
7 Egypt, whose help is vain and futile; and so I cal her 'Rahab -the-collapsed'.	7 Бо допомога Єгипту — річ марна й нікчемна. Тому я його називаю: Рагав недбалий.
8 Now go, inscribe this on a tablet, write it on a scrol , so that it may serve for time to come for ever andfor ever.	8 Іди ж і напиши це перед ними на таблиці, запиши це в книгу на майбутнє, щоб було свідоцтво вічне!
9 This is a rebellious people, they are lying children, children who will not listen to Yahweh's Law.	9 Бо це люд бунтівливий, діти брехливі, діти, які не хочуть слухати Господнього закону,
10 To the seers they say, 'See nothing!' To the prophets, 'Do not prophesy the truth to us; tel us flatteringthings; have illusory visions;	10 що видючим кажуть: «Геть з видінням!», а пророкам: «Не пророкуйте ви нам правди, а кажіть нам лестощі, віщуйте злуду!
11 turn aside from the way, leave the path, rid us of the Holy One of Israel.'	11 Зійдіть з дороги, зверніть із стежки, усуньте з-перед нас Святого Ізраїлевого!»
12 So the Holy One of Israel says this, 'Since you have rejected this word and put your trust in fraud anddisloyalty and rely on these,	12 Тим то говорить Святий Ізраїля: «Через те, що відкидаєте це слово й покладаєтесь на хитрощі та лукавство і в них шукаєте опори,
13 for you this guilt will prove to be a breach opening up, a bulge at the top of a wal which suddenly andal at once comes crashing down.	13 буде вам цей злочин, мов щілина перед розвалом, що виявилась у високім мурі, який умить відразу розвалиться.
14 He wil shatter it like an earthenware pot, ruthlessly knocking it to pieces, so that of the fragments notone shard can be found with which to take up fire from the hearth or scoop water from the storage-wel .'	14 І він його розіб’є, мов гончарський посуд, який б’ють нещадно, так що серед його кавалків і черепочка не знайдеться, щоб узяти вогню з вогнища або води з копанки зачерпнути.»
15 For Lord Yahweh, the Holy One of Israel, says this, 'Your salvation lay in conversion and tranquil ity,your strength in serenity and trust and you would have none of it.	15 Бо так говорить Господь Бог, Святий Ізраїля: «В наверненні й спокої ви спасетеся; у тиші та в довір’ї — ваша сила. Але ви не хотіли.
16 "No," you said, "we shall flee on horses." And so flee you wil ! And again, "We shal ride on swift ones." And so your pursuers will be swift!	16 Ви казали: Ні! На конях ми втечемо! — тому й будете втікати. Полетимо верхи на бистрих! — тому на бистрих за вами гнатися будуть.
17 A thousand wil quake at the threat of one and when five threaten you will flee, until what is left of youwil be like a flagstaff on a mountain top, like a signal on a hil .'	17 Тисяча втече на погрозу тільки одного, а на погрозу п’ятьох ви так розбіжитеся, що ваш останок буде, мов щогла на вершині гори, мов на горбі знамено.»
18 But Yahweh is waiting to be gracious to you, the Exalted One, to take pity on you, for Yahweh is aGod of fair judgement; blessed are al who hope in him.	18 Тому Господь чекає, щоб вам учинити ласку; тому встає, щоб змилосердитись над вами. Бо Господь — Бог справедливий: щасливі всі, що надіються на нього.
19 Yes, people of Zion living in Jerusalem, you will weep no more. He wil be gracious to you when yourcry for help rings out; as soon as he hears it, he will answer you.	19 Так, народе сіонський, що живеш в Єрусалимі, ти вже не плакатимеш більше. Він напевно змилується над тобою, коли почує твій крик; він, ледве почує, вислухає тебе.
20 When the Lord has given you the bread of suffering and the water of distress, he who is your teacherwil hide no longer, and you wil see your teacher with your own eyes.	20 Бо хоч Господь дає вам скупо хліба й мало води, та все ж таки Вчитель твій не буде ховатись, і очі твої Вчителя побачать.
21 Your ears wil hear these words behind you, 'This is the way, keep to it,' whether you turn to right orleft.	21 І вуха твої почують слова позад тебе: «Ось дорога, ідіть нею!» — коли ви зійдете праворуч а чи ліворуч.
22 You wil hold unclean the silverplating of your idols and the goldplating of your images. You wil throwthem away like the pol uted things they are, shouting after them, 'Good riddance!'	22 Тобі остогидне срібло, що покриває твої кумири, і золото, що одягає твоїх виливанців. Ти їх повикидаєш як погань: «Геть звідси!» — до них скажеш.
23 He wil send rain for the seed you sow in the ground, and the bread that the ground provides wil berich and nourishing. That day, your cattle will graze in wide pastures.	23 І він дасть дощ на твій посів, що ним засієш поле; і хліб, що вродить нива, буде тучний і ситний; і худоба твоя буде того дня пастися по широких пасовиськах.
24 Oxen and donkeys that work the land will eat for fodder wild sorrel, spread by the shovel-load andfork-load.	24 Воли й осли, що обробляють землю, їстимуть солону пашу, провіяну лопатою та віялкою.
25 On every lofty mountain, on every high hil there wil be streams and water-courses, on the day of thegreat slaughter when the strongholds fal .	25 І на кожній горі високій і на кожнім пагорбі вивищенім будуть річки та вод потоки за дня великої різні, коли падатимуть башти.
26 Then moonlight will be bright as sunlight and sunlight itself be seven times brighter -- like the light ofseven days in one -- on the day Yahweh dresses his people's wound and heals the scars of the blows they havereceived.	26 І світло місяця буде, як світло сонця, а світло сонця буде всемеро ясніше, — як світло сімох днів, — того дня, коли Господь перев’яже рани свого народу та вигоїть синці, йому завдані.
27 See, the name of Yahweh comes from afar, blazing his anger, heavy his threat. His lips are brimmingover with fury, his tongue is like a devouring fire.	27 Ось ім’я Господнє приходить здалека, палає гнів його, і тяжка його хмара. Уста в нього сповнені обурення, язик його, немов вогонь палючий.
28 His breath is like a river in spate coming up to the neck, to sift the nations with the sieve ofdestruction, to harness the peoples in a bridle, that wil lead them astray.	28 Подих його, немов потік розлитий, що сягає шиї, щоб просіяти народи через сито згуби і щоб на щелепи поган накласти гнузду блуду.
29 Your song wil be like that on a festal night, and there wil be joy in your hearts as when to the soundof the flute people make a pilgrimage to the mountain of Yahweh, the Rock of Israel.	29 І ваша пісня залунає, як у ночі, коли святкують свято, і радість серця вашого буде, як радість того, хто під сопілку йде на Господню гору, до Скелі Ізраїля.
30 Yahweh will make his majestic voice ring out, he wil show the weight of his arm in the heat of hisanger, with a devouring fire, with thunderbolt, downpour and hailstones.	30 І Господь дасть почути голос свій величний і явить свою грізну руку в палкому гніві й у полум’ї вогню, що пожирає, в бурі, у зливі і в кам’янім граді.
31 Yes, at Yahweh's voice Assyria wil be terrified, he wil strike him with his rod;	31 Бо від голосу Господнього Ашшур стрепенеться; він його києм поб’є.
32 each time he goes by, wil fal the punishing rod that Yahweh wil lay on him, to the sound oftambourines and harps, in the battles which he wil wage against him with uplifted hand.	32 Кожен удар караючою палицею, що Господь на нього спустить, буде під звуки гарф і бубнів, і він на них піде війною.
33 Yes, Topheth has been ready for a long time now, that too is ready for the king, deep and wide hispyre, fire and wood in plenty. Yahweh's breath, like a stream of brimstone, wil set fire to it.	33 Бо вже давно Тофет готовий, призначений він і цареві: яма глибока й широка, вогню і дров у ній багато. Подув Господній її підпалить, наче сірчаний потік.
