NEW JERUSALEM	EINHEITSUBERSETZUNG BIBEL
1 Woe to the rebel ious children -- declares Yahweh -- who make plans which do not come from me andmake al iances not inspired by me, and so add sin to sin!	1 Weh den trotzigen Söhnen - Spruch des Herrn -, die einen Plan ausführen, der nicht von mir ist, und ein Bündnis schließen, das nicht nach meinem Sinn ist; sie häufen Sünde auf Sünde.
2 They are leaving for Egypt, without consulting me, to take refuge in Pharaoh's protection, to shelter inEgypt's shadow.	2 Sie machen sich auf den Weg nach Ägypten, ohne meinen Mund zu befragen. Sie suchen beim Pharao Zuflucht und Schutz und flüchten in den Schatten Ägyptens.
3 Pharaoh's protection will be your shame, the shelter of Egypt's shadow your confounding.	3 Doch der Schutz des Pharao bringt euch nur Schande, die Flucht in den Schatten Ägyptens bringt euch nur Schmach.
4 For his princes have gone to Zoan and his messengers have reached Hanes.	4 Wenn auch Israels Fürsten nach Zoan gingen und seine Boten nach Hanes:
5 Everyone has been disappointed by a people who cannot help, who bring neither aid nor profit, onlydisappointment and confusion.	5 Sie werden doch alle enttäuscht von dem Volk, das nichts nützt, das niemand Nutzen und Hilfe verschafft, sondern nur Schande und Schmach bringt.
6 Proclamation about the beasts of the Negeb: Into the land of distress and of anguish, of lioness androaring lion, of viper and flying dragon, they bear their riches on donkeys' backs, their treasures on camels'humps, to a nation that cannot help:	6 Ausspruch über die Tiere des Negeb:Durch ein Land der Ängste und Nöte, der jungen Löwen, der knurrenden Löwen, der Nattern und fliegenden Schlangen bringen sie ihren Reichtum auf dem Rücken der Esel, ihre Schätze auf dem Höcker der Kamele zu dem Volk, das nichts nützt.
7 Egypt, whose help is vain and futile; and so I cal her 'Rahab -the-collapsed'.	7 Nichtig und nutzlos ist die Hilfe Ägyptens; darum nenne ich es: die untätige Rahab.
8 Now go, inscribe this on a tablet, write it on a scrol , so that it may serve for time to come for ever andfor ever.	8 Nun geh, schreib es vor ihren Augen auf eine Tafel, ritz es als Inschrift ein, damit es für künftige Zeiten auf immer bezeugt ist:
9 This is a rebellious people, they are lying children, children who will not listen to Yahweh's Law.	9 Sie sind ein trotziges Volk, missratene Söhne, Söhne, die auf die Weisung des Herrn nicht hören.
10 To the seers they say, 'See nothing!' To the prophets, 'Do not prophesy the truth to us; tel us flatteringthings; have illusory visions;	10 Sie sagen zu den Sehern: Seht nichts!, und zu den Propheten: Erschaut für uns ja nicht, was wahr ist, sondern sagt, was uns schmeichelt, erschaut für uns das, was uns täuscht.
11 turn aside from the way, leave the path, rid us of the Holy One of Israel.'	11 Weicht nur ab vom rechten Weg, verlasst den richtigen Pfad, lasst uns in Ruhe mit dem Heiligen Israels!
12 So the Holy One of Israel says this, 'Since you have rejected this word and put your trust in fraud anddisloyalty and rely on these,	12 Darum - so spricht der Heilige Israels: Weil ihr dieses Wort missachtet, weil ihr auf Ränke vertraut und euch auf das Falsche verlasst,
13 for you this guilt will prove to be a breach opening up, a bulge at the top of a wal which suddenly andal at once comes crashing down.	13 darum wird eure Schuld für euch sein wie ein herabfallendes Bruchstück von einer hoch aufragenden Mauer, die dann plötzlich, urplötzlich einstürzt.
14 He wil shatter it like an earthenware pot, ruthlessly knocking it to pieces, so that of the fragments notone shard can be found with which to take up fire from the hearth or scoop water from the storage-wel .'	14 Sie zerbricht wie der Krug eines Töpfers, den man ohne Erbarmen zerschlägt, sodass sich unter all den Stücken keine Scherbe mehr findet, mit der man Feuer vom Herd holen kann oder Wasser schöpfen aus der Zisterne.
15 For Lord Yahweh, the Holy One of Israel, says this, 'Your salvation lay in conversion and tranquil ity,your strength in serenity and trust and you would have none of it.	15 Denn so spricht der Herr, der Heilige Israels: Nur in Umkehr und Ruhe liegt eure Rettung, nur Stille und Vertrauen verleihen euch Kraft. Doch ihr habt nicht gewollt,
16 "No," you said, "we shall flee on horses." And so flee you wil ! And again, "We shal ride on swift ones." And so your pursuers will be swift!	16 sondern gesagt: Nein, auf Rossen wollen wir dahinfliegen. Darum sollt ihr jetzt fliehen. Ihr habt gesagt: Auf Rennpferden wollen wir reiten. Darum rennen die Verfolger euch nach.
17 A thousand wil quake at the threat of one and when five threaten you will flee, until what is left of youwil be like a flagstaff on a mountain top, like a signal on a hil .'	17 Tausende werden zittern, wenn ein Einziger droht, wenn nur fünf euch drohen, ergreift ihr alle die Flucht, bis das, was von euch übrig ist, aussieht, wie ein Fahnenmast auf dem Gipfel eines Berges, wie ein Feldzeichen auf dem Hügel.
18 But Yahweh is waiting to be gracious to you, the Exalted One, to take pity on you, for Yahweh is aGod of fair judgement; blessed are al who hope in him.	18 Darum wartet der Herr darauf, euch seine Gnade zu zeigen, darum erhebt er sich, um euch sein Erbarmen zu schenken. Denn der Herr ist ein Gott des Rechtes; wohl denen, die auf ihn warten.
19 Yes, people of Zion living in Jerusalem, you will weep no more. He wil be gracious to you when yourcry for help rings out; as soon as he hears it, he will answer you.	19 Ja, du Volk auf dem Berg Zion, das in Jerusalem wohnt, du brauchst jetzt nicht mehr zu weinen. Der Herr ist dir gnädig, wenn du um Hilfe schreist; er wird dir antworten, sobald er dich hört.
20 When the Lord has given you the bread of suffering and the water of distress, he who is your teacherwil hide no longer, and you wil see your teacher with your own eyes.	20 Auch wenn dir der Herr bisher nur wenig Brot und nicht genug Wasser gab, so wird er, dein Lehrer, sich nicht mehr verbergen. Deine Augen werden deinen Lehrer sehen,
21 Your ears wil hear these words behind you, 'This is the way, keep to it,' whether you turn to right orleft.	21 deine Ohren werden es hören, wenn er dir nachruft: Hier ist der Weg, auf ihm müsst ihr gehen, auch wenn ihr selbst rechts oder links gehen wolltet.
22 You wil hold unclean the silverplating of your idols and the goldplating of your images. You wil throwthem away like the pol uted things they are, shouting after them, 'Good riddance!'	22 Dann wirst du deine Götzen aus Silber und deine Götterbilder aus Gold entweihen. Wie Abfall wirfst du sie weg und sagst: Hinaus mit euch!
23 He wil send rain for the seed you sow in the ground, and the bread that the ground provides wil berich and nourishing. That day, your cattle will graze in wide pastures.	23 Dann spendet er Regen für die Saat, die du auf den Acker gesät hast. Das Korn, das auf dem Acker heranreift, wird üppig und fett sein. Auf weiten Wiesen weidet dein Vieh an jenem Tag.
24 Oxen and donkeys that work the land will eat for fodder wild sorrel, spread by the shovel-load andfork-load.	24 Die Rinder und Esel, die dir bei der Feldarbeit helfen, bekommen würziges Futter zu fressen, das man mit Schaufel und Gabel gemischt hat.
25 On every lofty mountain, on every high hil there wil be streams and water-courses, on the day of thegreat slaughter when the strongholds fal .	25 Auf allen hohen Bergen und stattlichen Hügeln gibt es Bäche voll Wasser am Tag des großen Mordens, wenn die Türme einstürzen.
26 Then moonlight will be bright as sunlight and sunlight itself be seven times brighter -- like the light ofseven days in one -- on the day Yahweh dresses his people's wound and heals the scars of the blows they havereceived.	26 Zu der Zeit, wenn der Herr die Leiden seines Volkes heilt und seine Wunden verbindet, wird das Licht des Mondes so hell sein wie das Licht der Sonne und das Licht der Sonne wird siebenmal so stark sein wie das Licht von sieben Tagen.
27 See, the name of Yahweh comes from afar, blazing his anger, heavy his threat. His lips are brimmingover with fury, his tongue is like a devouring fire.	27 Seht her, der Herr [sein Name] kommt aus der Ferne. Sein Zorn ist entflammt, gewaltig drohend, zieht er heran. Seine Lippen sind voll grollendem Zorn, seine Zunge ist wie ein verzehrendes Feuer,
28 His breath is like a river in spate coming up to the neck, to sift the nations with the sieve ofdestruction, to harness the peoples in a bridle, that wil lead them astray.	28 sein Atem wie ein reißender Bach, der bis an den Hals reicht. Er spannt die Völker ins Joch und legt den Nationen den Zaum an, um sie in die Irre und ins Unheil zu führen.
29 Your song wil be like that on a festal night, and there wil be joy in your hearts as when to the soundof the flute people make a pilgrimage to the mountain of Yahweh, the Rock of Israel.	29 Dann singt ihr Lieder wie in der Nacht, in der man sich heiligt für das Fest. Ihr freut euch von Herzen wie die Pilger, die unter dem Klang ihrer Flöten zum Berg des Herrn, zu Israels Felsen, hinaufziehen.
30 Yahweh will make his majestic voice ring out, he wil show the weight of his arm in the heat of hisanger, with a devouring fire, with thunderbolt, downpour and hailstones.	30 Der Herr lässt seine mächtige Stimme erschallen und man sieht, wie sein Arm herabzucktmit zornigem Grollen und verzehrendem Feuer, mit Sturm, Gewitter und Hagel.
31 Yes, at Yahweh's voice Assyria wil be terrified, he wil strike him with his rod;	31 Vor der Stimme des Herrn wird Assur erschrecken, wenn er zuschlägt mit seinem Stock,
32 each time he goes by, wil fal the punishing rod that Yahweh wil lay on him, to the sound oftambourines and harps, in the battles which he wil wage against him with uplifted hand.	32 jedes Mal, wenn die Zuchtrute auf Assur herabsaust, mit der der Herr auf es einschlägt.Unter dem Klang von Pauken und Zithern und bei schwungvollem Reigentanz kämpft er gegen Assur.
33 Yes, Topheth has been ready for a long time now, that too is ready for the king, deep and wide hispyre, fire and wood in plenty. Yahweh's breath, like a stream of brimstone, wil set fire to it.	33 Ja, schon längst ist eine Feuerstelle bereitet, auch für den König ist sie bestimmt; tief ist sie und weit; ein Holzstoß ist da, Feuer und Brennholz in Menge, der Atem des Herrn brennt darin wie ein Schwefelstrom.
