Psalms 82

NEW JERUSALEM	KÁLDI-NEOVULGÁTA
1 [Psalm Of Asaph] God takes his stand in the divine assembly, surrounded by the gods he givesjudgement.	1 Ászáf zsoltára. Áll az Isten az istenek gyülekezetében, s ítélkezik az isteneken:
2 'How much longer wil you give unjust judgements and uphold the prestige of the wicked?	2 »Meddig ítéltek még hamisan, és meddig vagytok tekintettel a gonoszok személyére?
3 Let the weak and the orphan have justice, be fair to the wretched and the destitute.Pause	3 Szolgáltassatok igazságot a szűkölködőnek s az árvának, juttassátok jogához a nyomorultat és a szegényt!
4 'Rescue the weak and the needy, save them from the clutches of the wicked.	4 Szabadítsátok meg a szegényt és a szűkölködőt mentsétek ki a gonoszok kezéből!«
5 'Ignorant and uncomprehending, they wander in darkness, while the foundations of the world aretottering.	5 De ők sem nem tudnak, sem nem értenek, sötétben járnak; Mind meginognak ezért a föld alapjai.
6 I had thought, "Are you gods, are al of you sons of the Most High?"	6 Én azt mondtam: »Ti istenek vagytok, mindnyájan a Fölséges fiai.«
7 No! you wil die as human beings do, as one man, princes, you will fal .'	7 De meghaltok, mint más ember, elhullotok, mint akármelyik főember.
8 Arise, God, judge the world, for al nations belong to you.	8 Kelj fel, Isten! Ítéld meg a földet, mert a te örökséged minden nemzet.
