3 Around Jerusalem they have shed blood like water, leaving no one to bury them.	3 Davanti a Efraim, Beniamino e Manasse. Ridesta la tua potenza, e vieni a salvarci.
4 We are the scorn of our neighbours, the butt and laughing-stock of those around us.	4 O Dio, rialzaci, mostraci la tua faccia, o saremo salvi.
5 How long will you be angry, Yahweh? For ever? Is your jealousy to go on smouldering like a fire?	5 Signore Dio degli eserciti, fino a quando rimarrai sdegnato davanti alle preghiere del tuo servo?
6 Pour out your anger on the nations who do not acknowledge you, and on the kingdoms that do not callon your name;	6 E ci nutrirai a pane di lacrime, ci abbevererai largamente di pianto?
7 for they have devoured Jacob and devastated his home.	7 Ci hai ridotti a oggetto di contesa per i nostri vicini, e i nostri nemici ci hanno sbeffeggiati.
8 Do not count against us the guilt of former generations, in your tenderness come quickly to meet us,for we are utterly weakened;	8 O Dio degli eserciti, rialzaci, mostraci la tua faccia, e saremo salvi.
9 help us, God our Saviour, for the glory of your name; Yahweh, wipe away our sins, rescue us for thesake of your name.	9 Tu dall'Egitto trasportasti una vigna, cacciasti le nazioni e la piantasti.
10 Why should the nations ask, 'Where is their God?' Let us see the nations suffer vengeance forshedding your servants' blood.	10 Andasti davanti a lei come guida nel viaggio, facesti barbicar le sue radici, e riempì la terra.
11 May the groans of the captive reach you, by your great strength save those who are condemned todeath!	11 L'ombra di lei coprì le montagne ed i suoi rami i cedri di Dio.
12 Repay our neighbours sevenfold for the insults they have level ed at you, Lord.	12 Distese fino al mare i suoi tralci le sue propaggini fino al fiume.
13 And we, your people, the flock that you pasture, will thank you for ever, wil recite your praises fromage to age.	13 Perchè hai fatto distruggere i suoi muri, sicché la vendemmiano tutti quelli che passan per la strada?
	14 Il cinghiale della selva l'ha devastata, la belva solitaria ci ha fatto il suo pasto.
	15 O Dio degli eserciti, volgiti, guarda dal cielo e mira, e vieni a visitare questa vigna.
	16 Rimetti in buono stato quel che la tua destra ha piantato, il figlio dell'uomo che ti sei reso forte.
	17 Essa è arsa dal fuoco e sradicata: dinanzi alla minaccia del tuo volto periscano.
	18 Sia la tua mano sopra l'uomo della tua destra e sopra il figlio dell'uomo che fi sei reso forte.
	19 Noì non ci allontaneremo da te, tu ci darai nuova vita, e invocheremo il tuo nome.
	20 O Signore Dio degli eserciti, rialzaci, mostraci la tua faccia, e saremo salvi.
