NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 [Psalm Of David When he was fleeing from his son Absalom] Yahweh, how countless are my enemies,how countless those who rise up against me,	1 Salmo de David. Cuando huía de su hijo Absalón
2 how countless those who say of me, 'No salvation for him from his God!'Pause	2 Señor, ¡qué numerosos son mis adversarios, cuántos los que se levantan contra mí!
3 But you, Yahweh, the shield at my side, my glory, you hold my head high.	3 ¡Cuántos son los que dicen de mí: «Dios ya no quiere salvarlo»!
4 I cry out to Yahweh; he answers from his holy mountain.Pause	4 Pero Tú eres mi escudo protector y mi gloria, tú mantienes erguida mi cabeza.
5 As for me, if I lie down and sleep, I shall awake, for Yahweh sustains me.	5 Invoco al Señor en alta voz, y él me responde desde su santa Montaña.
6 I have no fear of people in their thousands upon thousands, who range themselves against mewherever I turn.	6 Yo me acuesto y me duermo, y me despierto tranquilo porque el Señor me sostiene.
7 Arise, Yahweh, rescue me, my God! You strike all my foes across the face, you break the teeth of thewicked.	7 No temo a la multitud innumerable, apostada contra mí por todas partes.
8 In Yahweh is salvation, on your people, your blessing!Pause	8 ¡Levántate, Señor! ¡Sálvame, Dios mío! Tú golpeas en la mejilla a mis enemigos y rompes los dientes de los malvados.
	9 ¡En ti, Señor, está la salvación, y tu bendición sobre tu pueblo!
