Psalms 126

NEW JERUSALEM	STUTTGARTENSIA-DELITZSCH
1 [Song of Ascents] When Yahweh brought back Zion's captives we lived in a dream;	1 שִׁיר הַמַּעֲלֹות בְּשׁוּב יְהוָה אֶת־שִׁיבַת צִיֹּון הָיִינוּ כְּחֹלְמִים
2 then our mouths fil ed with laughter, and our lips with song. Then the nations kept saying, 'What greatdeeds Yahweh has done for them!'	2 אָז יִמָּלֵא שְׂחֹוק פִּינוּ וּלְשֹׁונֵנוּ רִנָּה אָז יֹאמְרוּ בַגֹּויִם הִגְדִּיל יְהוָה לַעֲשֹׂות עִם־אֵלֶּה
3 Yes, Yahweh did great deeds for us, and we were overjoyed.	3 הִגְדִּיל יְהוָה לַעֲשֹׂות עִמָּנוּ הָיִינוּ שְׂמֵחִים
4 Bring back, Yahweh, our people from captivity like torrents in the Negeb!	4 שׁוּבָה יְהוָה אֶת־ [שְׁבוּתֵנוּ כ] (שְׁבִיתֵנוּ ק) כַּאֲפִיקִים בַּנֶּגֶב
5 Those who sow in tears sing as they reap.	5 הַזֹּרְעִים בְּדִמְעָה בְּרִנָּה יִקְצֹרוּ
6 He went off, went off weeping, carrying the seed. He comes back, comes back singing, bringing inhis sheaves.	6 הָלֹוךְ יֵלֵךְ ׀ וּבָכֹה נֹשֵׂא מֶשֶׁךְ־הַזָּרַע בֹּא־יָבֹוא בְרִנָּה נֹשֵׂא אֲלֻמֹּתָיו
