1 [For the choirmaster Of David] In Yahweh I have found refuge. How can you say to me, 'Bird, flee toyour mountain?	1 - Al corifeo: per l'ottava. Salmo di David.
2 'For look, the wicked are drawing their bows, fitting their arrows to the string to shoot honest men fromthe shadows.	2 Salvami, o Signore, perché scomparso è l'uomo pio, perché la sincerità è venuta meno tra i figli degli uomini!
3 If the foundations fal to ruin, what can the upright do?'	3 Falsità parlano ognuno col prossimo suo; con labbra ingannatrici, con cuor doppio essi parlano.
4 Yahweh in his holy temple! Yahweh, his throne is in heaven; his eyes watch over the world, his gazescrutinises the children of Adam.	4 Disperda il Signore tutte le labbra ingannatrici, e la lingua del parlare arrogante;
5 Yahweh examines the upright and the wicked, the lover of violence he detests.	5 coloro che dicono: «Magnificheremo la nostra lingua: le nostre labbra son con noi; chi potrà padroneggiarci?».
6 He will rain down red-hot coals, fire and sulphur on the wicked, a scorching wind wil be their lot.	6 «Per l'afflizione de' miseri e il gemito de' tapini, or io mi levo su», dice il Signore. «Porrò in salvo [l'oppresso]: risolutamente per lui agirò».
7 For Yahweh is upright and loves uprightness, the honest will ever see his face.	7 Le parole del Signore son parole sincere, argento saggiato al fuoco in un crogiuolo di terra, purificato sette volte.
	8 Tu, o Signore, ci salveraie ci guarderai da questa genia in eterno.
	9 Van dattorno gli empi; [ma] secondo la tua sublimità tu moltiplichi [e proteggi] gli uomini [a te fedeli].
