Exodus 30

1 'You will make an altar on which to burn incense; you wil make it of acacia wood,	1 Farai inoltre un altare di legno di setim per bruciarvi profumi,
2 one cubit long, and one cubit wide -- it must be square -- and two cubits high; its horns must be of apiece with it.	2 e questo sarà quadrato dovendo avere un cubito di lunghezza ed uno di larghezza, in altezza dovrà essere due cubiti, e spunteranno da esso i suoi corni.
3 You will overlay its top, its sides all round and its horns with pure gold and make a gold moulding to goal round.	3 Lo rivestirai d'oro finissimo, tanto la sua graticola, quanto i suoi lati all'intorno e i suoi corni. E gli farai una cornice d'oro tutt'intorno,
4 You will make two gold rings for it below the moulding on its two opposite sides, to take the shaftsused for carrying it.	4 e due anelli d'oro sotto la cornice, ai due lati, da farvi passare le stanghe per portare l'altare.
5 You will make the shafts of acacia wood and overlay them with gold.	5 Ed anche le stanghe le farai di legno di setim e le ricoprirai d'oro.
6 'You will put it in front of the curtain by the ark of Testimony, in front of the mercy-seat which is on theTestimony, where I shal meet you.	6 E collocherai l'altare davanti al velo che pende dinanzi all'arca della testimonianza, davanti al propiziatorio che copre l'arca della testimonianza, dove io ti parlerò.
7 On it Aaron wil burn fragrant incense each morning; when he trims the lamps, he will burn incense onit;	7 E Aronne brucerà sopra di esso un profumo di soave fragranza la mattina, quando accomoderà le lampade,
8 and when Aaron puts back the lamps at twilight, he will burn incense on it, incense perpetual y beforeYahweh for all your generations to come.	8 e la sera, quando le rimetterà, brucerà un profumo davanti al Signore per tutte le vostre generazioni.
9 You will not offer unauthorised incense, or burnt offering, or cereal offering on it, and you will not pourany libation over it.	9 Sopra quest'altare non offrirete altro profumo, nè oblazione, nè vittima, nè vi farete libazioni.
10 Once a year, Aaron wil perform the rite of expiation on the horns of the altar; once a year, on the Dayof Expiation, with the blood of the sacrifice for sin, he wil make expiation for himself, for al your generations tocome. It is especial y holy for Yahweh.'	10 E Aronne, una volta l'anno, col sangue offerto pel peccato, farà l'espiazione sui corni dell'altare, sopra di esso farà la propiziazione in tutte le vostre generazioni, e sarà cosa santissima davanti al Signore ».
11 Yahweh then spoke to Moses and said,	11 Il Signore parlò a Mosè dicendogli;
12 'When you count the Israelites by census, each one of them must pay Yahweh a ransom for his life,to avoid any incidence of plague among them while you are holding the census.	12 « Quando avrai fatto il censimento dei figli d'Israele, tutti quelli censiti daranno al Signore il prezzo del riscatto per la loro vita, e non verrà piaga sopra di essi quando saranno stati numerati.
13 Everyone subject to the census wil pay half a shekel, reckoning by the sanctuary shekel: twentygerah to the shekel. This half-shekel will be set aside for Yahweh.	13 Ecco quanto deve dare ciascuno di quelli compresi nel censimento: un mezzo siclo, di quelli del tempio, che contengono venti oboli, la metà di tal siclo sarà offerta al Signore,
14 Everyone subject to the census, that is to say of twenty years and over, will pay the sum set aside forYahweh.	14 e tutti quelli censiti daran questa contribuzione passati i venti anni.
15 The rich man must not give more, nor the poor man less, than half a shekel when he pays the sumset aside for Yahweh in ransom for your lives.	15 Il ricco non darà più e il povero non darà meno d'un mezzo siclo.
16 You wil take the ransom money of the Israelites and apply it to the service of the Tent of Meeting, forit to be a reminder of the Israelites before Yahweh, as the ransom for your lives.'	16 Preso poi questo danaro offerto dai figli d'Israele, lo impiegherai a servizio del Tabernacolo della testimonianza, affinchè sia un ricordo di essi davanti al Signore, ed egli sia propizio alle loro anime ».
17 Yahweh then spoke to Moses and said,	17 E il Signore parlò a Mosè e gli disse:
18 'You wil also make a bronze basin on its bronze stand, for washing. You wil put it between the Tentof Meeting and the altar and put water in it,	18 « Farai pure una conca di rame con la sua base, per le abluzioni, e la porrai tra il Tabernacolo della testimonianza e l'altare. E messavi l'acqua,
19 in which Aaron and his sons wil wash their hands and feet.	19 Aronne e i suoi figli vi si laveranno le mani e i piedi,
20 Whenever they are to enter the Tent of Meeting, they wil wash, to avoid incurring death; andwhenever they approach the altar for their service, to burn an offering for Yahweh,	20 prima di entrare nel Tabernacolo della testimonianza e di accostarsi all'altare per offrirvi i profumi al Signore.
21 they wil wash their hands and feet, to avoid incurring death. This is a perpetual decree for him andhis descendants for all their generations to come.'	21 Per non morire si laveranno; e questa sarà una legge perpetua per Aronne e per i discendenti che gli succederanno ».
22 Yahweh spoke further to Moses and said,	22 E il Signore parlò a Mosè
23 'Take the finest spices: five hundred shekels of fresh myrrh, half as much (two hundred and fiftyshekels) of fragrant cinnamon, two hundred and fifty shekels of scented reed,	23 e gli disse: « Prenditi degli aromi: di mirra vergine e scelta, cinquecento sicli; di cinnamomo la metà, cioè duecento cinquanta sicli; di canna aromatica pure duecentocinquanta sicli,
24 five hundred shekels (reckoning by the sanctuary shekel) of cassia, and one hin of olive oil.	24 e cinquecento sicli di cassia, a peso del santuario, più un hin d'olio di oliva.
25 You wil make this into a holy anointing oil, such a blend as the perfumer might make; this wil be aholy anointing oil.	25 E ne farai un olio santo per l'unzione, un unguento composto secondo l'arte del profumiere.
26 With it you wil anoint the Tent of Meeting and the ark of the Testimony,	26 E con esso ungerai il Tabernacolo della testimonianza, l'arca del testamento,
27 the table and al its accessories, the lamp-stand and its accessories, the altar of incense,	27 1a tavola coi suoi arredi, il candelabro e i suoi utensili, l'altare dei profumi
28 the altar of burnt offerings and al its accessories, and the basin with its stand,	28 e quello degli olocausti, e tutta la suppellettile che serve al loro uso.
29 consecrating them, so that they wil be especial y holy and whatever touches them wil become holy.	29 Consacrerai così queste cose, e saranno santissime, e chiunque le toccherà sarà santificato.
30 You wil also anoint Aaron and his sons and consecrate them to be priests in my service.	30 Ungerai Aronne e i suoi figli e li consacrerai, affinchè mi esercitino il sacerdozio.
31 You wil then speak to the Israelites and say, "This anointing oil wil be holy for you for al yourgenerations to come.	31 E ai figli d'Israele dirai: Quest'olio di unzione sarà consacrato a me nelle vostre generazioni:
32 It must not be used for anointing the human body, nor may you make any of the same mixture. It is aholy thing; you wil regard it as holy.	32 non sarà sparso sulla carne dell'uomo, non ne farete un altro di simile composizione, perchè è consacrato e deve essere per voi santo.
33 Anyone who makes up the same oil or uses it on an unauthorised person wil be outlawed from hispeople." '	33 Chi ne comporrà uno simile, e ne darà ad un estraneo sarà sterminato di mezzo al suo popolo ».
34 Yahweh then said to Moses, 'Take sweet spices: storax, onycha, galbanum, sweet spices and purefrankincense in equal parts,	34 E il Signore disse a Mosè: « Prendi degli aromi: statte, onice, garbano di grato odore e incenso lucidissimo, in dosi uguali,
35 and compound an incense, such a blend as the perfumer might make, salted, pure, and holy.	35 e ne farai un profumo composto secondo l'arte del profumiere, manipolato con diligenza, puro e degnissimo d'essere offerto.
36 You wil grind some of this up very fine and put it in front of the Testimony in the Tent of Meeting,where I shal meet you. You wil regard it as especial y holy.	36 Quando poi avrai ridotto il tutto in minutissima polvere, ne porrai dinanzi al Tabernacolo della testimonianza dove io ti apparirò. Tal profumo sarà per voi una cosa santissima,
37 You may not make any incense of similar composition for your own use. You wil regard it as holy,reserved for Yahweh Anyone who makes up the same thing to use as perfume will be outlawed from his people.'	37 e non ne farete per vostro uso una composizione somigliante, perchè è cosa consacrata al Signore.
	38 Chiunque ne farà uno simile per goderne l'odore, perirà di mezzo al suo popolo ».
