Exodus 30

NEW JERUSALEM	LA SACRA BIBBIA
1 'You will make an altar on which to burn incense; you wil make it of acacia wood,	1 Farai un altare per far fumare l'incenso: lo farai in legno d'acacia.
2 one cubit long, and one cubit wide -- it must be square -- and two cubits high; its horns must be of apiece with it.	2 Sarà lungo un cubito e largo un cubito: sarà quadrato, alto due cubiti, munito dei suoi corni.
3 You will overlay its top, its sides all round and its horns with pure gold and make a gold moulding to goal round.	3 Ricoprirai d'oro puro il suo ripiano superiore, i suoi lati intorno e i suoi corni: gli farai intorno una bordatura d'oro.
4 You will make two gold rings for it below the moulding on its two opposite sides, to take the shaftsused for carrying it.	4 Gli farai due anelli d'oro sotto la bordatura, sui suoi due fianchi: li farai sulle sue due parti e serviranno per introdurvi le stanghe con le quali portarlo.
5 You will make the shafts of acacia wood and overlay them with gold.	5 Farai le stanghe in legno d'acacia e le ricoprirai d'oro.
6 'You will put it in front of the curtain by the ark of Testimony, in front of the mercy-seat which is on theTestimony, where I shal meet you.	6 Lo porrai davanti al velo che nasconde l'arca della testimonianza, davanti al propiziatorio che è sopra la testimonianza, dove ti incontro.
7 On it Aaron wil burn fragrant incense each morning; when he trims the lamps, he will burn incense onit;	7 Sopra di esso Aronne farà fumare l'incenso profumato: lo farà fumare ogni mattina, quando metterà in ordine le lampade,
8 and when Aaron puts back the lamps at twilight, he will burn incense on it, incense perpetual y beforeYahweh for all your generations to come.	8 e lo farà fumare tra le due sere, quando Aronne riempirà le lampade: incenso perenne davanti al Signore per le vostre generazioni.
9 You will not offer unauthorised incense, or burnt offering, or cereal offering on it, and you will not pourany libation over it.	9 Non vi offrirete incenso profano né olocausto od oblazione né vi verserete sopra una libazione.
10 Once a year, Aaron wil perform the rite of expiation on the horns of the altar; once a year, on the Dayof Expiation, with the blood of the sacrifice for sin, he wil make expiation for himself, for al your generations tocome. It is especial y holy for Yahweh.'	10 Aronne farà l'espiazione sui suoi corni una volta all'anno: con il sangue del sacrificio per il peccato, nel Giorno dell'espiazione, una volta all'anno farà l'espiazione su di esso per le vostre generazioni. E' cosa santissima in onore del Signore".
11 Yahweh then spoke to Moses and said,	11 Il Signore disse a Mosè:
12 'When you count the Israelites by census, each one of them must pay Yahweh a ransom for his life,to avoid any incidence of plague among them while you are holding the census.	12 "Quando farai la rassegna dei figli d'Israele per il censimento, ognuno pagherà il riscatto per la propria vita al Signore nell'atto del censimento, e non avranno flagelli, quando saranno passati in rassegna.
13 Everyone subject to the census wil pay half a shekel, reckoning by the sanctuary shekel: twentygerah to the shekel. This half-shekel will be set aside for Yahweh.	13 Chiunque sarà recensito pagherà un mezzo siclo, del siclo del santuario, venti ghera per siclo. Un mezzo siclo è prelievo per il Signore.
14 Everyone subject to the census, that is to say of twenty years and over, will pay the sum set aside forYahweh.	14 Ogni recensito, da vent'anni in su, darà l'imposta per il Signore.
15 The rich man must not give more, nor the poor man less, than half a shekel when he pays the sumset aside for Yahweh in ransom for your lives.	15 Il ricco non darà di più né il povero di meno di mezzo siclo per soddisfare l'imposta del Signore, in espiazione delle vostre vite.
16 You wil take the ransom money of the Israelites and apply it to the service of the Tent of Meeting, forit to be a reminder of the Israelites before Yahweh, as the ransom for your lives.'	16 Prenderai il denaro dell'espiazione dai figli d'Israele e lo darai per il servizio della tenda del convegno: per i figli d'Israele sarà un memoriale davanti al Signore, per l'espiazione delle vostre vite".
17 Yahweh then spoke to Moses and said,	17 Il Signore disse a Mosè:
18 'You wil also make a bronze basin on its bronze stand, for washing. You wil put it between the Tentof Meeting and the altar and put water in it,	18 "Farai una vasca di bronzo per lavarsi, con il suo supporto di bronzo, e la porrai tra la tenda del convegno e l'altare e ci metterai acqua.
19 in which Aaron and his sons wil wash their hands and feet.	19 Aronne e i suoi figli si laveranno le mani e i piedi.
20 Whenever they are to enter the Tent of Meeting, they wil wash, to avoid incurring death; andwhenever they approach the altar for their service, to burn an offering for Yahweh,	20 Quando entreranno nella tenda del convegno si laveranno con l'acqua e non moriranno; e quando si avvicineranno all'altare per il servizio, per far fumare un sacrificio di fuoco in onore del Signore,
21 they wil wash their hands and feet, to avoid incurring death. This is a perpetual decree for him andhis descendants for all their generations to come.'	21 laveranno le loro mani e i loro piedi e non moriranno. Sarà per loro uno statuto perenne, per lui e per i suoi discendenti nelle loro generazioni".
22 Yahweh spoke further to Moses and said,	22 Il Signore disse a Mosè:
23 'Take the finest spices: five hundred shekels of fresh myrrh, half as much (two hundred and fiftyshekels) of fragrant cinnamon, two hundred and fifty shekels of scented reed,	23 "Procùrati balsami di prima qualità: cinquecento sicli di mirra fluida; duecentocinquanta, e cioè la metà, di cinnamomo odoroso; duecentocinquanta di cannella odorosa;
24 five hundred shekels (reckoning by the sanctuary shekel) of cassia, and one hin of olive oil.	24 cinquecento sicli, del siclo del santuario, di cassia, e un hin di olio di oliva:
25 You wil make this into a holy anointing oil, such a blend as the perfumer might make; this wil be aholy anointing oil.	25 ne farai olio d'unzione santa, un profumo eccezionale, opera di profumiere: sarà l'olio d'unzione santa.
26 With it you wil anoint the Tent of Meeting and the ark of the Testimony,	26 Ungerai con quello la tenda del convegno e l'arca della testimonianza,
27 the table and al its accessories, the lamp-stand and its accessories, the altar of incense,	27 la tavola e tutti i suoi oggetti, il candelabro e i suoi oggetti, l'altare dell'incenso,

29 consecrating them, so that they wil be especial y holy and whatever touches them wil become holy.	29 Li santificherai e saranno santissimi: chiunque li toccherà sarà santo.
30 You wil also anoint Aaron and his sons and consecrate them to be priests in my service.	30 Ungerai e consacrerai come sacerdoti Aronne e i suoi figli.
31 You wil then speak to the Israelites and say, "This anointing oil wil be holy for you for al yourgenerations to come.	31 Ai figli d'Israele dirai: "Questo sarà per me olio d'unzione santa per le vostre generazioni.
32 It must not be used for anointing the human body, nor may you make any of the same mixture. It is aholy thing; you wil regard it as holy.	32 Non si verserà su carne umana e non ne farete della stessa composizione: è santo e santo sarà per voi.
33 Anyone who makes up the same oil or uses it on an unauthorised person wil be outlawed from hispeople." '	33 Chi farà un profumo simile e ne porrà su un estraneo sarà eliminato dal mio popolo".
34 Yahweh then said to Moses, 'Take sweet spices: storax, onycha, galbanum, sweet spices and purefrankincense in equal parts,	34 Il Signore disse a Mosè: "Procùrati dei balsami: storace, onice, galbano e incenso puro: saranno in parti eguali.
35 and compound an incense, such a blend as the perfumer might make, salted, pure, and holy.	35 Ne farai incenso profumato, opera di profumiere, salato, puro e santo.
36 You wil grind some of this up very fine and put it in front of the Testimony in the Tent of Meeting,where I shal meet you. You wil regard it as especial y holy.	36 Lo pesterai in polvere e ne porrai davanti alla testimonianza, nella tenda del convegno, dove ti incontro: sarà per voi cosa santissima.
37 You may not make any incense of similar composition for your own use. You wil regard it as holy,reserved for Yahweh Anyone who makes up the same thing to use as perfume will be outlawed from his people.'	37 Dell'incenso che farai, non ne farete per voi della stessa composizione: sarà per te cosa sacra al Signore.
	38 Chiunque ne farà di simile per aspirarlo, sarà eliminato dal mio popolo".
