1 'You will make an altar on which to burn incense; you wil make it of acacia wood,	1 Készíts továbbá akácfából egy oltárt az illatáldozatok bemutatásához:
2 one cubit long, and one cubit wide -- it must be square -- and two cubits high; its horns must be of apiece with it.	2 hosszúsága egy könyök, szélessége szintén egy, tehát négyzet alakú, magassága pedig két könyök legyen. Szarvai magából az oltárból jöjjenek elő.
3 You will overlay its top, its sides all round and its horns with pure gold and make a gold moulding to goal round.	3 Ezt aztán vond be színarannyal – a rostélyát is, körös-körül a falait is, és a szarvait is. Helyezz rá körös-körül aranyszegélyt,
4 You will make two gold rings for it below the moulding on its two opposite sides, to take the shaftsused for carrying it.	4 a szegély alá pedig mindkét oldalon két aranykarikát, hogy rudakat lehessen dugni beléjük, és hordozni lehessen az oltárt.
5 You will make the shafts of acacia wood and overlay them with gold.	5 Készítsd el a rudakat is akácfából, és vond be őket arannyal.

9 You will not offer unauthorised incense, or burnt offering, or cereal offering on it, and you will not pourany libation over it.	9 Más összetételű füstölőszert, egészen elégő áldozatot és ételáldozatot ne mutassatok be rajta, és italáldozatot se öntsetek rá.
10 Once a year, Aaron wil perform the rite of expiation on the horns of the altar; once a year, on the Dayof Expiation, with the blood of the sacrifice for sin, he wil make expiation for himself, for al your generations tocome. It is especial y holy for Yahweh.'	10 Évente egyszer pedig könyörögjön Áron ennek az oltárnak a szarvai felett a bűnért való áldozat vérével, és végezzen engesztelést rajta, nemzedékről nemzedékre közöttetek. Legyen szent az Úrnak.«
11 Yahweh then spoke to Moses and said,	11 Aztán így szólt az Úr Mózeshez:
12 'When you count the Israelites by census, each one of them must pay Yahweh a ransom for his life,to avoid any incidence of plague among them while you are holding the census.	12 »Amikor majd szám szerint összeírod Izrael fiainak összességét, adjon mindegyikük váltságot életéért az Úrnak, hogy ne legyen rajtuk csapás, amikor megszámlálják őket.
13 Everyone subject to the census wil pay half a shekel, reckoning by the sanctuary shekel: twentygerah to the shekel. This half-shekel will be set aside for Yahweh.	13 Ezt kell adnia mindenkinek, akinek a nevét felveszik: fél sékelt a szentély súlyegysége szerint – egy sékelben húsz gera van –, fél sékelt ajánljon fel az Úrnak.
14 Everyone subject to the census, that is to say of twenty years and over, will pay the sum set aside forYahweh.	14 Akit számbavesznek, húszesztendőstől fölfelé, ezt a váltságot adja meg.
15 The rich man must not give more, nor the poor man less, than half a shekel when he pays the sumset aside for Yahweh in ransom for your lives.	15 A gazdag ne adjon többet fél sékelnél, és a szegény se kevesebbet.
16 You wil take the ransom money of the Israelites and apply it to the service of the Tent of Meeting, forit to be a reminder of the Israelites before Yahweh, as the ransom for your lives.'	16 Te pedig vedd a pénzt, amelyet Izrael fiai adnak, és fordítsd azt a bizonyság sátrának szolgálatára, hogy emlékeztetőjük legyen az az Úr előtt, és ő megkegyelmezzen életüknek.«
17 Yahweh then spoke to Moses and said,	17 Aztán így szólt az Úr Mózeshez:
18 'You wil also make a bronze basin on its bronze stand, for washing. You wil put it between the Tentof Meeting and the altar and put water in it,	18 »Készíts majd rézből egy mosdómedencét, valamint egy hozzávaló talapzatot, tedd a bizonyság sátra és az oltár közé, és tölts bele vizet.
19 in which Aaron and his sons wil wash their hands and feet.	19 Ebből mossák meg Áron és fiai a kezüket és lábukat,
20 Whenever they are to enter the Tent of Meeting, they wil wash, to avoid incurring death; andwhenever they approach the altar for their service, to burn an offering for Yahweh,	20 amikor bemennek a bizonyság sátrába, vagy amikor az oltárhoz járulnak, hogy rajta illatáldozatot mutassanak be az Úrnak,
21 they wil wash their hands and feet, to avoid incurring death. This is a perpetual decree for him andhis descendants for all their generations to come.'	21 – nehogy halállal lakoljanak. Örök törvény legyen ez számára és utódai számára nemzedékről nemzedékre.«
22 Yahweh spoke further to Moses and said,	22 Aztán így szólt az Úr Mózeshez:
23 'Take the finest spices: five hundred shekels of fresh myrrh, half as much (two hundred and fiftyshekels) of fragrant cinnamon, two hundred and fifty shekels of scented reed,	23 »Végy ezután fűszereket: ötszáz sékel finom mirhazsengét, félannyi, azaz kétszázötven sékel fahéjat, ugyancsak kétszázötven sékel illatos nádat,
24 five hundred shekels (reckoning by the sanctuary shekel) of cassia, and one hin of olive oil.	24 és ötszáz sékel kassziát, a szentély súlyegysége szerint, végül egy hín mennyiségű faolajat.
25 You wil make this into a holy anointing oil, such a blend as the perfumer might make; this wil be aholy anointing oil.	25 Készíts belőle kenethez való szent olajat, kenetet a kenetkészítők mestersége szerint.
26 With it you wil anoint the Tent of Meeting and the ark of the Testimony,	26 Ezzel aztán kend meg a bizonyság sátrát, a szövetség ládáját,
27 the table and al its accessories, the lamp-stand and its accessories, the altar of incense,	27 az asztalt és eszközeit, a mécstartót és eszközeit, az illatáldozat oltárát
28 the altar of burnt offerings and al its accessories, and the basin with its stand,	28 és az egészen elégő áldozatét, s minden eszközt, amely szolgálatukhoz tartozik.
29 consecrating them, so that they wil be especial y holy and whatever touches them wil become holy.	29 Így szenteld meg mindezt, és szentek lesznek: aki hozzájuk ér, szentté válik.
30 You wil also anoint Aaron and his sons and consecrate them to be priests in my service.	30 Kend fel és szenteld meg ezzel Áront és fiait is, hogy papjaimmá legyenek.
31 You wil then speak to the Israelites and say, "This anointing oil wil be holy for you for al yourgenerations to come.	31 Izrael fiainak pedig mondd: Nekem szentelt kenet olaja legyen ez közöttetek nemzedékről nemzedékre.
32 It must not be used for anointing the human body, nor may you make any of the same mixture. It is aholy thing; you wil regard it as holy.	32 Senki se kenje meg ezzel a testét, és ennek összetétele szerint másikat ne készítsetek, mert szent ez, és szentnek számítson előttetek.
33 Anyone who makes up the same oil or uses it on an unauthorised person wil be outlawed from hispeople." '	33 Mindaz, aki ugyanilyet készít, vagy ebből idegen embernek ad, irtassék ki népéből.«
34 Yahweh then said to Moses, 'Take sweet spices: storax, onycha, galbanum, sweet spices and purefrankincense in equal parts,	34 Az Úr ezután azt mondta Mózesnek: »Végy ismét fűszereket: mirhazsengét, ónixot, jó illatú galbánt, fehér tömjént – egyenlő mennyiségű legyen valamennyi –
35 and compound an incense, such a blend as the perfumer might make, salted, pure, and holy.	35 és készíts a kenetkészítők mestersége szerint jól összevegyített, tiszta és szentelésre alkalmas füstölőszert.
36 You wil grind some of this up very fine and put it in front of the Testimony in the Tent of Meeting,where I shal meet you. You wil regard it as especial y holy.	36 Aztán törd az egészet finom porrá, és tégy belőle a bizonyság sátra elé, ahol majd megjelenek neked. Szent legyen előttetek ez a füstölőszer:
37 You may not make any incense of similar composition for your own use. You wil regard it as holy,reserved for Yahweh Anyone who makes up the same thing to use as perfume will be outlawed from his people.'	37 ilyen keveréket a saját használatra ne készítsetek, mert az Úrnak szentelt dolog ez.
	38 Mindaz, aki ilyet készít, hogy élvezze illatát, irtassék ki népéből.«
