Exodus 30

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBLIA
1 'You will make an altar on which to burn incense; you wil make it of acacia wood,	1 Harás también un altar para quemar el incienso. De madera de acacia lo harás.
2 one cubit long, and one cubit wide -- it must be square -- and two cubits high; its horns must be of apiece with it.	2 Será cuadrado: de un codo de largo y otro de ancho; su altura será de dos codos. Sus cuernos formarán un solo cuerpo con él.
3 You will overlay its top, its sides all round and its horns with pure gold and make a gold moulding to goal round.	3 Lo revestirás de oro puro, tanto su parte superior como sus costados, así como sus cuernos. Pondrás en su derredor una moldura de oro,
4 You will make two gold rings for it below the moulding on its two opposite sides, to take the shaftsused for carrying it.	4 y debajo de la moldura, a los costados, harás dos anillas. Las harás a ambos lados, para meter por ellas los varales con que transportarlo.
5 You will make the shafts of acacia wood and overlay them with gold.	5 Harás los varales de madera de acacia y los revestirás de oro.
6 'You will put it in front of the curtain by the ark of Testimony, in front of the mercy-seat which is on theTestimony, where I shal meet you.	6 Colocarás el altar delante del velo que está junto al arca del Testimonio y ante el propiciatorio que cubre el Testimonio, donde yo me encontraré contigo.
7 On it Aaron wil burn fragrant incense each morning; when he trims the lamps, he will burn incense onit;	7 Aarón quemará en él incienso aromático; lo quemará todas la mañanas, al preparar las lámparas,
8 and when Aaron puts back the lamps at twilight, he will burn incense on it, incense perpetual y beforeYahweh for all your generations to come.	8 y lo quemará también cuando al atardecer alimente las lámparas. Será incienso continuo ante Yahveh, de generación en generación.
9 You will not offer unauthorised incense, or burnt offering, or cereal offering on it, and you will not pourany libation over it.	9 No ofrezcáis sobre él incienso profano, ni holocausto ni oblación, ni derraméis sobre él libación alguna.
10 Once a year, Aaron wil perform the rite of expiation on the horns of the altar; once a year, on the Dayof Expiation, with the blood of the sacrifice for sin, he wil make expiation for himself, for al your generations tocome. It is especial y holy for Yahweh.'	10 Aarón una vez al año hará expiación sobre los cuernos de este altar. Con la sangre del sacrificio por el pecado, es decir, el de la expiación, una vez cada año hará expiación por él en vuestras sucesivas generaciones. Cosa sacratísima es el altar en honor de Yahveh.
11 Yahweh then spoke to Moses and said,	11 Habló Yahveh a Moisés, diciendo:
12 'When you count the Israelites by census, each one of them must pay Yahweh a ransom for his life,to avoid any incidence of plague among them while you are holding the census.	12 Cuando cuentes el número de los israelitas para hacer su censo, cada uno pagará a Yahveh el rescate por su vida al ser empadronado, para que no haya plaga entre ellos con motivo del empadronamiento.
13 Everyone subject to the census wil pay half a shekel, reckoning by the sanctuary shekel: twentygerah to the shekel. This half-shekel will be set aside for Yahweh.	13 Esto es lo que ha de dar cada uno de los comprendidos en el censo: medio siclo, en siclos del Santuario. Este siclo es de veinte óbolos. El tributo reservado a Yahveh es medio siclo.
14 Everyone subject to the census, that is to say of twenty years and over, will pay the sum set aside forYahweh.	14 Todos los comprendidos en el censo, de veinte años en adelante, pagarán el tributo reservado a Yahveh.
15 The rich man must not give more, nor the poor man less, than half a shekel when he pays the sumset aside for Yahweh in ransom for your lives.	15 El rico no dará más, ni el pobre menos del medio siclo, al pagar el tributo a Yahveh como rescate de vuestras vidas.
16 You wil take the ransom money of the Israelites and apply it to the service of the Tent of Meeting, forit to be a reminder of the Israelites before Yahweh, as the ransom for your lives.'	16 Tomarás el dinero del rescate de parte de los israelitas, y lo darás para el servicio de la Tienda del Encuentro; y será para los israelitas como recordatorio ante Yahveh por el rescate de sus vidas.
17 Yahweh then spoke to Moses and said,	17 Habló Yahveh a Moisés, diciendo:
18 'You wil also make a bronze basin on its bronze stand, for washing. You wil put it between the Tentof Meeting and the altar and put water in it,	18 Haz una pila de bronce, con su base de bronce, para las abluciones. Colócala entre la Tienda del Encuentro y el altar, y echa agua en ella,
19 in which Aaron and his sons wil wash their hands and feet.	19 para que Aarón y sus hijos se laven las manos y los pies con su agua.
20 Whenever they are to enter the Tent of Meeting, they wil wash, to avoid incurring death; andwhenever they approach the altar for their service, to burn an offering for Yahweh,	20 Antes de entrar en la Tienda del Encuentro se han de lavar con agua para que no mueran; también antes de acercarse al altar para el ministerio de quemar los manjares que se abrasan en honor de Yahveh.
21 they wil wash their hands and feet, to avoid incurring death. This is a perpetual decree for him andhis descendants for all their generations to come.'	21 Se lavarán las manos y los pies, y no morirán. Este será decreto perpetuo para ellos, para Aarón y su posteridad, de generación en generación.
22 Yahweh spoke further to Moses and said,	22 Habló Yahveh a Moisés, diciendo:
23 'Take the finest spices: five hundred shekels of fresh myrrh, half as much (two hundred and fiftyshekels) of fragrant cinnamon, two hundred and fifty shekels of scented reed,	23 Toma tú aromas escogidos: de mirra pura, quinientos siclos; de cinamomo, la mitad, o sea, 250; de caña aromática, 250;
24 five hundred shekels (reckoning by the sanctuary shekel) of cassia, and one hin of olive oil.	24 de casia, quinientos, en siclos del Santuario, y un sextario de aceite de oliva.
25 You wil make this into a holy anointing oil, such a blend as the perfumer might make; this wil be aholy anointing oil.	25 Prepararás con ello el óleo para la unción sagrada, perfume aromático como lo prepara el perfumista. Este será el óleo para la unción sagrada.
26 With it you wil anoint the Tent of Meeting and the ark of the Testimony,	26 Con él ungirás la Tienda del Encuentro y el arca del Testimonio,
27 the table and al its accessories, the lamp-stand and its accessories, the altar of incense,	27 la mesa con todos sus utensilios, el candelabro con todos sus utensilios, el altar del incienso,
28 the altar of burnt offerings and al its accessories, and the basin with its stand,	28 el altar del holocausto con todos sus utensilios y la pila con su base.
29 consecrating them, so that they wil be especial y holy and whatever touches them wil become holy.	29 Así los consagrarás y serán cosa sacratísima. Todo cuanto los toque quedará santificado.
30 You wil also anoint Aaron and his sons and consecrate them to be priests in my service.	30 Ungirás también a Aarón y a sus hijos y los consagrarás para que ejerzan mi sacerdocio.
31 You wil then speak to the Israelites and say, "This anointing oil wil be holy for you for al yourgenerations to come.	31 Hablarás a los israelitas, diciendo: Este será para vosotros el óleo de la unción sagrada de generación en generación.
32 It must not be used for anointing the human body, nor may you make any of the same mixture. It is aholy thing; you wil regard it as holy.	32 No debe derramarse sobre el cuerpo de ningún hombre; no haréis ningún otro de composición parecida a la suya. Santo es y lo tendréis por cosa sagrada.
33 Anyone who makes up the same oil or uses it on an unauthorised person wil be outlawed from hispeople." '	33 Cualquiera que prepare otro semejante, o derrame de él sobre un laico, será exterminado de su pueblo.
34 Yahweh then said to Moses, 'Take sweet spices: storax, onycha, galbanum, sweet spices and purefrankincense in equal parts,	34 Dijo Yahveh a Moisés: Procúrate en cantidades iguales aromas: estacte, uña marina y gálbano, especias aromáticas e incienso puro.
35 and compound an incense, such a blend as the perfumer might make, salted, pure, and holy.	35 Prepara con ello, según el arte del perfumista, un incienso perfumado, sazonado con sal, puro y santo;
36 You wil grind some of this up very fine and put it in front of the Testimony in the Tent of Meeting,where I shal meet you. You wil regard it as especial y holy.	36 pulverizarás una parte que pondrás delante del Testimonio, en la Tienda del Encuentro, donde yo me encontraré contigo. Será para vosotros cosa sacratísima.
37 You may not make any incense of similar composition for your own use. You wil regard it as holy,reserved for Yahweh Anyone who makes up the same thing to use as perfume will be outlawed from his people.'	37 Y en cuanto a la composición de este incienso que vas a hacer, no la imitéis para vuestro uso. Lo tendrás por consagrado a Yahveh.
	38 Cualquiera que prepare otro semejante para aspirar su fragancia, será exterminado de en medio de su pueblo.
