1 'You will make an altar on which to burn incense; you wil make it of acacia wood,	1 Farai anche un altare per bruciarvi i timiami di legno di setim,
2 one cubit long, and one cubit wide -- it must be square -- and two cubits high; its horns must be of apiece with it.	2 Il quale avrà un cubito di lunghezza, e uno di larghezza, vale a dire, sarà quadro; e avrà due cubiti d'altezza. Spunteranno da esso i suoi corni.
3 You will overlay its top, its sides all round and its horns with pure gold and make a gold moulding to goal round.	3 E lo rivestirai d'oro finissimo tanto la sua graticola, come i lati all'intorno, e i corni. E gli farai una piccola corona d'oro, che girerà intorno ad esso,
4 You will make two gold rings for it below the moulding on its two opposite sides, to take the shaftsused for carrying it.	4 E due anelli d'oro sotto la corona a ciascuno de' lati per passarvi le stanghe, affinché possa l'altare portarsi.
5 You will make the shafts of acacia wood and overlay them with gold.	5 Le stanghe ancora le farai di legno di setim, e le coprirai d'oro.
6 'You will put it in front of the curtain by the ark of Testimony, in front of the mercy-seat which is on theTestimony, where I shal meet you.	6 E collocherai l'altare dirimpetto al velo, che pende dinanzi all'arca del testimonio innanzi al propiziatorio, che cuopre l'arca del testimonio, dove io a te parlerò.
7 On it Aaron wil burn fragrant incense each morning; when he trims the lamps, he will burn incense onit;	7 E Aronne brucerà sopra di quello i profumi di soave fragranza ogni mattina. Li brucerà nel tempo, che accomoderà le lucerne:
8 and when Aaron puts back the lamps at twilight, he will burn incense on it, incense perpetual y beforeYahweh for all your generations to come.	8 E quando le rimetterà alla sera, brucerà sempre i timiani dinanzi al Signore per tutte le vostre generazioni.
9 You will not offer unauthorised incense, or burnt offering, or cereal offering on it, and you will not pourany libation over it.	9 Non offrirete sopra di esso alcun timiama di straniera composizione, né obblazione alcuna, né vittima, né vi farete libagioni.
10 Once a year, Aaron wil perform the rite of expiation on the horns of the altar; once a year, on the Dayof Expiation, with the blood of the sacrifice for sin, he wil make expiation for himself, for al your generations tocome. It is especial y holy for Yahweh.'	10 Una volta l'anno Aronne farà l’espiazione de' corni dell'altare col sangue offerto pel peccato, e con questo placherà (Dio) per tutte le generazioni vostre. Sarà cosa santissima dinanzi al Signore.
11 Yahweh then spoke to Moses and said,	11 E il Signore parlò a Mosè, e disse:
12 'When you count the Israelites by census, each one of them must pay Yahweh a ransom for his life,to avoid any incidence of plague among them while you are holding the census.	12 Quando avrai fatto il conto de' figliuoli d'Israele, ciascheduno compreso in questo numero darà al Signore il prezzo del suo riscatto, e non saranno soggetti a flagello, quando saranno stati censiti.
13 Everyone subject to the census wil pay half a shekel, reckoning by the sanctuary shekel: twentygerah to the shekel. This half-shekel will be set aside for Yahweh.	13 Or tutti que' che saranno descritti, daranno la metà d'un siclo secondo il peso del tempio. Il siclo contiene venti obbli. La metà del siclo sarà offerta al Signore.
14 Everyone subject to the census, that is to say of twenty years and over, will pay the sum set aside forYahweh.	14 Quelli che avran luogo nel censo da' venti anni in là, pagheranno il riscatto.
15 The rich man must not give more, nor the poor man less, than half a shekel when he pays the sumset aside for Yahweh in ransom for your lives.	15 Il ricco non darà di più del mezzo siclo, e il povero non darà di meno.
16 You wil take the ransom money of the Israelites and apply it to the service of the Tent of Meeting, forit to be a reminder of the Israelites before Yahweh, as the ransom for your lives.'	16 E preso il denaro offerto da' figliuoli d'Israele, lo depositerai per servigio del tabernacolo della testimonianza, affinché rappelli al Signore la memoria di essi, ed ei si renda propizio alle anime loro.
17 Yahweh then spoke to Moses and said,	17 E il Signore parlò a Mosè, e disse:
18 'You wil also make a bronze basin on its bronze stand, for washing. You wil put it between the Tentof Meeting and the altar and put water in it,	18 Farai anche una conca di bronzo colla sua base, che serva di lavatoio: e la porrai tra'l tabernacolo della testimonianza, e l'altare. E messavi l'acqua,
19 in which Aaron and his sons wil wash their hands and feet.	19 Si laveranno con essa Aronne, e i suoi figliuoli le loro mani, e i piedi,
20 Whenever they are to enter the Tent of Meeting, they wil wash, to avoid incurring death; andwhenever they approach the altar for their service, to burn an offering for Yahweh,	20 Quando saranno per entrare nel tabernacolo del testimonio, e quando dovranno accostarsi all'altare per offerirvi i timiami al Signore,
21 they wil wash their hands and feet, to avoid incurring death. This is a perpetual decree for him andhis descendants for all their generations to come.'	21 Affinché per disgrazia non periscano: questa sarà legge eterna per Aronne, e pe' discendenti, che succederanno.
22 Yahweh spoke further to Moses and said,	22 E il Signore parlò a Mosè, e disse:
23 'Take the finest spices: five hundred shekels of fresh myrrh, half as much (two hundred and fiftyshekels) of fragrant cinnamon, two hundred and fifty shekels of scented reed,	23 Prendi tu questi aromi: cinquecento sicli di mirra la prima, e più eccellente; e la metà, cioè dugento cinquanta sicli di cinnamomo, e parimente dugento cinquanta sicli di canna odorosa,
24 five hundred shekels (reckoning by the sanctuary shekel) of cassia, and one hin of olive oil.	24 E cinquecento sicli di cassia a peso del santuario, e la misura d'un hin d'olio d'ulivo:
25 You wil make this into a holy anointing oil, such a blend as the perfumer might make; this wil be aholy anointing oil.	25 E ne formerai l'olio santo per le unzioni, l'unguento composto con arte dal profumiere,
26 With it you wil anoint the Tent of Meeting and the ark of the Testimony,	26 E con esso ungerai il tabernacolo del testimonio, e l'arca del testamento,
27 the table and al its accessories, the lamp-stand and its accessories, the altar of incense,	27 E la mensa co' suoi vasi, e il candelabro, e le cose, che servono per esso, e l'altare del timiama,
28 the altar of burnt offerings and al its accessories, and the basin with its stand,	28 E quello degli olocausti, e tutti gli utensili, che servono ad uso di essi.
29 consecrating them, so that they wil be especial y holy and whatever touches them wil become holy.	29 E santificherai tutte queste cose, e diverranno santissime: chiunque le toccherà, sarà santificato.
30 You wil also anoint Aaron and his sons and consecrate them to be priests in my service.	30 Ungerai Aronne, e i suoi figliuoli, e li santificherai, affinché esercitino il mio sacerdozio.
31 You wil then speak to the Israelites and say, "This anointing oil wil be holy for you for al yourgenerations to come.	31 Dirai pure a' figliuoli d'Israele: Quest'olio della unzione sarà consacrato a me per tutte le generazioni vostre.
32 It must not be used for anointing the human body, nor may you make any of the same mixture. It is aholy thing; you wil regard it as holy.	32 Nissun uomo con esso si ungerà, e altro non ne farete di simile composizione, perché questo è santificato, e sarà santo per voi.
33 Anyone who makes up the same oil or uses it on an unauthorised person wil be outlawed from hispeople." '	33 Qualsivoglia uomo, che una simile ne formi, e ne dia ad un estraneo, sarà sterminato dal consorzio del popol suo.
34 Yahweh then said to Moses, 'Take sweet spices: storax, onycha, galbanum, sweet spices and purefrankincense in equal parts,	34 E il Signore disse a Mosè: Prendi questi aromi, statte, oniche, e galbano di grato odore, e incenso lucidissimo: il tutto in eguali porzioni:
35 and compound an incense, such a blend as the perfumer might make, salted, pure, and holy.	35 E farai un timiama composto secondo l'arte di profumiere manipolato con diligenza, e purificato, e degnissimo d’esser offerto.
36 You wil grind some of this up very fine and put it in front of the Testimony in the Tent of Meeting,where I shal meet you. You wil regard it as especial y holy.	36 E quando avrai ridotto il tutto in minutissima polvere, ne porrai dinanzi al tabernacolo e lei testimonio, nel qual luogo io ti apparirò. Sarà questo per voi santissimo timiama.
37 You may not make any incense of similar composition for your own use. You wil regard it as holy,reserved for Yahweh Anyone who makes up the same thing to use as perfume will be outlawed from his people.'	37 Composizione simile non farete per vostro uso, perché è cosa consacrata al Signore.
	38 Chiunque ne farà una simile per goderne l'odore, perirà di mezzo al suo popolo.
