You will overlay its top, its sides all round and its horns with pure gold and make a gold moulding to goal round.3 And you shall clothe it with the purest gold, both its grating and the walls around it, and also the horns. And you shall make for it a crown of gold in a circle,
You will make two gold rings for it below the moulding on its two opposite sides, to take the shaftsused for carrying it.4 and two gold rings under the crown on each side, so that the bars may be set in them and the altar may be carried.

On it Aaron wil burn fragrant incense each morning; when he trims the lamps, he will burn incense onit;7 And Aaron shall burn incense upon it, a sweet fragrance, in the morning. When he lights the lamps, he shall burn it.
and when Aaron puts back the lamps at twilight, he will burn incense on it, incense perpetual y beforeYahweh for all your generations to come.8 And when he assembles them in the evening, he shall burn an everlasting incense before the Lord throughout your generations.

'When you count the Israelites by census, each one of them must pay Yahweh a ransom for his life,to avoid any incidence of plague among them while you are holding the census.12 “When you have taken the sum of the sons of Israel, according to their number, each shall give a price for their souls to the Lord, and there will be no scourge among them, when they will be reviewed.
Everyone subject to the census wil pay half a shekel, reckoning by the sanctuary shekel: twentygerah to the shekel. This half-shekel will be set aside for Yahweh.13 Then all those who pass shall give by name: one half shekel, according to the measure at the temple. A shekel has twenty obols. The half part of a shekel shall be offered to the Lord.
Everyone subject to the census, that is to say of twenty years and over, will pay the sum set aside forYahweh.14 He who has been numbered from twenty years and above shall give the price.
The rich man must not give more, nor the poor man less, than half a shekel when he pays the sumset aside for Yahweh in ransom for your lives.15 The rich shall not add to the half shekel, and the poor shall diminish nothing.
You wil take the ransom money of the Israelites and apply it to the service of the Tent of Meeting, forit to be a reminder of the Israelites before Yahweh, as the ransom for your lives.'16 And the money received, which was collected from the sons of Israel, you shall deliver for the uses of the tabernacle of the testimony, so that it may be a memorial of them before the Lord, and he may act favorably toward their souls.”
Yahweh then spoke to Moses and said,17 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
'You wil also make a bronze basin on its bronze stand, for washing. You wil put it between the Tentof Meeting and the altar and put water in it,18 “You shall also make a bronze washtub with its base to wash in; and you shall place it between the tabernacle of the testimony and the altar. And when water has been added,
in which Aaron and his sons wil wash their hands and feet.19 Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and feet in it:
Whenever they are to enter the Tent of Meeting, they wil wash, to avoid incurring death; andwhenever they approach the altar for their service, to burn an offering for Yahweh,20 when they enter the tabernacle of the testimony, and when they approach to the altar so as to offer incense to the Lord upon it,
they wil wash their hands and feet, to avoid incurring death. This is a perpetual decree for him andhis descendants for all their generations to come.'21 otherwise, they may die. This shall be an everlasting law to him, and to his offspring, throughout their successions.”
Yahweh spoke further to Moses and said,22 And the Lord spoke to Moses,
'Take the finest spices: five hundred shekels of fresh myrrh, half as much (two hundred and fiftyshekels) of fragrant cinnamon, two hundred and fifty shekels of scented reed,23 saying: “Take for yourself aromatics: of the first and best myrrh, five hundred shekels, and of cinnamon half as much, that is, two hundred and fifty shekels; of sweet flag similarly two hundred and fifty,

You wil make this into a holy anointing oil, such a blend as the perfumer might make; this wil be aholy anointing oil.25 And you shall make the holy oil of unction, an ointment composed with the skills of a perfumer,
With it you wil anoint the Tent of Meeting and the ark of the Testimony,26 and with it you shall anoint the tabernacle of the testimony, and the ark of the testament,
the table and al its accessories, the lamp-stand and its accessories, the altar of incense,27 and the table with its vessels, and the lampstand and it utensils, the altars of incense

You wil also anoint Aaron and his sons and consecrate them to be priests in my service.30 You shall anoint Aaron and his sons, and you shall sanctify them, so that they may exercise the priesthood for me.
You wil then speak to the Israelites and say, "This anointing oil wil be holy for you for al yourgenerations to come.31 Likewise, you shall say to the sons of Israel: ‘This oil of unction will be holy to me throughout your generations.
It must not be used for anointing the human body, nor may you make any of the same mixture. It is aholy thing; you wil regard it as holy.32 The flesh of man shall not be anointed from it, and you shall not make any similar compound, for it has been sanctified and it shall be holy to you.
Anyone who makes up the same oil or uses it on an unauthorised person wil be outlawed from hispeople." '33 Whatever man will have composed such a thing and have given it to a stranger, he shall be exterminated from his people.’ ”
Yahweh then said to Moses, 'Take sweet spices: storax, onycha, galbanum, sweet spices and purefrankincense in equal parts,34 And the Lord said to Moses: “Take to yourself aromatics: stacte, and onycha, galbanum of sweet odor, and the clearest frankincense, all these shall be of equal weight.
and compound an incense, such a blend as the perfumer might make, salted, pure, and holy.35 And you shall make incense composed with the skills of a perfumer, diligently mixed, and pure, and most worthy of sanctification.
You wil grind some of this up very fine and put it in front of the Testimony in the Tent of Meeting, where I shal meet you. You wil regard it as especial y holy.36 And when you have crushed all these into a very fine powder, you shall place some of it before the tabernacle of the testimony, in the place where I will appear to you. The Holy of holies shall this incense be to you.
You may not make any incense of similar composition for your own use. You wil regard it as holy, reserved for Yahweh Anyone who makes up the same thing to use as perfume will be outlawed from his people.'37 You shall not make such a compound for your own uses, because it is holy to the Lord.
