1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said,	1 E il Signore parlò a Mosè, dicendo:
2 'Tel the Israelites to set aside a contribution for me; you wil accept a contribution from everyonewhose heart prompts him to give it.	2 Di' ai figli d'Israele che mi portino le primizie: le riceverete da chi le offre spontaneamente.
3 And this is what you wil accept from them: gold, silver and bronze;	3 Ed ecco quali cose dovete ricevere: oro, argento, rame,
4 materials dyed violet-purple, red-purple and crimson, fine linen, goats' hair;	4 giacinto, porpora, scarlatto tinto due volte, bisso, pelo di capra,
5 rams' skins dyed red, fine leather, acacia wood;	5 pelli di montoni tinte in rosso, pelli di color violetto e legno di setim;
6 oil for the light, spices for the anointing oil and fragrant incense;	6 olio per le lampade, aromi per l'unguento e profumi di grato odore;
7 cornelian and other stones to be set in the ephod and breastplate.	7 pietre d'onice, gemme per ornare l'Efod e il Razionale.
8 Make me a sanctuary so that I can reside among them.	8 Così mi faranno un santuario, perchè io dimori in mezzo a loro.
9 You will make it al according to the design for the Dwel ing and the design for its furnishings which Ishall now show you.	9 Me lo farete in tutto e per tutto simile al modello del Tabernacolo che io ti mostrerò. Così pure tutti i suoi arredi destinati al culto. Lo farete adunque in questo modo:
10 'You must make me an ark of acacia wood, two and a half cubits long, one and a half cubits wide andone and a half cubits high.	10 Fate un'arca di legno di setim, lunga due cubiti e mezzo, larga un cubito e mezzo, alta pure un cubito e mezzo,
11 You wil overlay it, inside and out, with pure gold and make a gold moulding al round it.	11 La rivestirai d'oro purissimo di dentro e di fuori; e al di sopra, torno torno, vi farai una cornice d'oro.
12 You wil cast four gold rings for it and fix them to its four supports: two rings on one side and tworings on the other.	12 Farai quattro anelli d'oro, da porsi ai quattro angoli dell'arca, due da un lato e due da un altro.
13 You wil also make shafts of acacia wood and overlay them with gold	13 Fatte poi delle stanghe di legno di setim, tutte coperte d'oro,
14 and pass the shafts through the rings on the sides of the ark, by which to carry it.	14 le farai passare dentro gli anelli che sono ai lati dell'arca, affinchè servano a trasportarla;
15 The shafts wil stay in the rings of the ark and not be withdrawn.	15 e le stanghe staran sempre negli anelli senza esserne mai tolte.
16 Inside the ark you wil put the Testimony which I am about to give you.	16 Poi metterai nell'arca la testimonianza ch'io ti darò.
17 'You wil also make a mercy-seat of pure gold, two and a half cubits long and one and a half cubitswide,	17 Farai d'oro purissimo anche il propiziatorio: sarà lungo due cubiti e mezzo, largo un cubito e mezzo.
18 and you wil model two great winged creatures of beaten gold, you wil make them at the two ends ofthe mercy-seat.	18 Poi farai due cherubini d'oro battuto alle due estremità dell'oracolo:
19 Model one of the winged creatures at one end and the other winged creature at the other end; youwil model the winged creatures of a piece with the mercy-seat at either end.	19 uno da un lato e uno dall'altro.
20 The winged creatures must have their wings spread upwards, protecting the mercy-seat with theirwings and facing each other, their faces being towards the mercy-seat.	20 Coprano tutt'e due i lati del propiziatorio, stendendo le ali e adombrando l'oracolo, e si guardino colle facce rivolte al propiziatorio, col quale deve essere coperta l'arca
21 You wil put the mercy-seat on the top of the ark, and inside the ark you will put the Testimony which Iam about to give you.	21 in cui porrai la testimonianza che io ti darò.
22 There I shall come to meet you; from above the mercy-seat, from between the two winged creatureswhich are on the ark of the Testimony, I shall give you al my orders for the Israelites.	22 Di là darò i miei ordini: di sul propiziatorio di mezzo ai due cherubini che saranno sopra l'arca della testimonianza, io ti comunicherò tutti gli ordini che avrò da darti per i figli d'Israele.
23 'You must also make a table of acacia wood, two cubits long, one cubit wide and one and a halfcubits high.	23 Farai inoltre una tavola di legno di setim, lunga due cubiti, larga uno e alta uno e mezzo.
24 You wil overlay it with pure gold, and make a gold moulding al round it.	24 E la rivestirai d'oro purissimo, e le farai un orlo d'oro all'intorno,
25 You wil fit it with struts of a hand's breadth and make a gold moulding round the struts.	25 e sull'orlo una cornice scolpita a traforo, alta quattro dita, e sopra questa un'altra cornice d'oro.
26 You wil make four gold rings for it and fix the four rings at the four corners where the four legs are.	26 Poi preparerai quattro anelli d'oro e li porrai ai quattro angoli della medesima tavola, uno per piede.
27 The rings must lie close to the struts to hold the shafts for carrying the table.	27 Gli anelli d'oro saranno sotto la cornice, per farci passare le stanghe destinate a portare la tavola.
28 You must make the shafts of acacia wood and overlay them with gold. The table must be carried bythese.	28 E anche queste stanghe le farai di legno di setim, le rivestirai d'oro, e serviranno a portare la tavola.
29 You must make dishes, cups, jars and libation bowls for it; you must make these of pure gold,	29 Preparerai pure piatti, coppe, turiboli e tazze d'oro purissimo, in cui dovranno essere offerte le libazioni.
30 and on the table, in my presence, you wil always put the loaves of permanent offering.	30 E sulla tavola metterai i pani della proposizione, da star sempre alla mia presenza.
31 'You wil also make a lamp-stand of pure gold; the lamp-stand must be of beaten gold, base andstem. Its cups, calyxes and petals, must be of a piece with it.	31 Farai pure un candelabro d'oro purissimo battuto, col suo tronco, i rami, le coppe, le sferette, e i gigli che ne usciranno.
32 Six branches must spring from its sides: three of the lamp-stand's branches from one side, three ofthe lamp-stand's branches from the other.	32 Dai lati gli usciranno sei rami, tre dall'uno e tre dall'altro lato.
33 The first branch must carry three cups shaped like almond blossoms, each with its calyx and petals;the second branch, too, must carry three cups shaped like almond blossoms, each with its calyx and bud, andsimilarly for all six branches springing from the lamp-stand.	33 Su un ramo vi saranno tre coppe a forma di noce con una sferetta e un giglio, e così tre coppe a forma di noce, con una sferetta e un giglio sull'altro ramo, e così pure sian formati i sei rami che usciranno dal tronco.
34 The lamp-stand itself must carry four cups shaped like almond blossoms, each with its calyx and bud:	34 E nel tronco del candelabro vi saranno quattro coppe a forma di noce, e per ogni coppa la sua sferetta e il suo giglio.
35 one calyx under the first two branches springing from the lamp-stand, one calyx under the next pairof branches and one calyx under the last pair of branches -- thus for al six branches springing from the lamp-stand.	35 Sotto i due rami, ripetuti tre volte da far sei rami uscenti dal medesimo tronco, vi saran delle sferette.
36 The calyxes and the branches wil be of a piece with the lamp-stand, and the whole made from asingle piece of pure gold, beaten out.	36 E le sferette e i rami saran tutti d'un pezzo col candeliere, e il tutto sarà d'oro finissimo lavorato a martello.
37 You wil also make seven lamps for it and mount the lamps in such a way that they light up the spacein front of it.	37 Farai ancora sette lampade, e le porrai sul candelabro in modo che faccian lume davanti ad esso.
38 The snuffers and trays must be of pure gold.	38 Ed anche gli smoccolatoi con i loro portasmoccolature saran fatti d'oro purissimo.
39 You wil use a talent of pure gold for the lamp-stand and al its accessories;	39 Tutto il peso del candelabro con tutti i suoi accessori sarà un talento d'oro finissimo.
40 and see that you work to the design which was shown you on the mountain.'	40 Mira, e fa secondo il modello che ti fu mostrato sul monte.
