1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said,	1 E il Signore parlò a Mosè, e disse:
2 'Tel the Israelites to set aside a contribution for me; you wil accept a contribution from everyonewhose heart prompts him to give it.	2 Di’ a' figliuoli d'Israele, che mettano a parte per me le primizie: le riceverete da tutti quelli che spontaneamente le offeriranno.
3 And this is what you wil accept from them: gold, silver and bronze;	3 Ed ecco quali cose dovete accettare: oro, e argento, e rame,
4 materials dyed violet-purple, red-purple and crimson, fine linen, goats' hair;	4 Iacinto, e porpora, e cocco tinto due volte, e bisso, e pelo di capra,
5 rams' skins dyed red, fine leather, acacia wood;	5 E pelli di montoni di color rosso, e pelli di color violetto, e legni di setim,
6 oil for the light, spices for the anointing oil and fragrant incense;	6 Olio per accendere le lampane, aromi per fare gli unguenti, e profumi di grato odore,
7 cornelian and other stones to be set in the ephod and breastplate.	7 Pietre di oniche, e gemme per ornamento dell'Ephod, e del Razionale.
8 Make me a sanctuary so that I can reside among them.	8 E mi fabbricheranno un santuario, ed io abiterò in mezzo ad essi.
9 You will make it al according to the design for the Dwel ing and the design for its furnishings which Ishall now show you.	9 (Lo fabbricherai) secondo l’intero disegno del tabernacolo, che io farotti vedere, e di tutti i vasi pel culto di esso: e lo farete in questo modo.
10 'You must make me an ark of acacia wood, two and a half cubits long, one and a half cubits wide andone and a half cubits high.	10 Fate un'arca di legno di setim, che abbia due cubiti e mezzo di lunghezza, un cubito e mezzo di larghezza, e parimente un cubito e mezzo di altezza.
11 You wil overlay it, inside and out, with pure gold and make a gold moulding al round it.	11 E la vestirai di lame d'oro purissimo di dentro e di fuori: e farai al di sopra una corona d'oro, che giri intorno,
12 You wil cast four gold rings for it and fix them to its four supports: two rings on one side and tworings on the other.	12 E porrai a' quattro angoli dell'arca quattro cerchi d'oro, due da una parte, e due dall'altra.
13 You wil also make shafts of acacia wood and overlay them with gold	13 E farai ancora le stanghe di legni di setim, e le coprirai di lame d'oro.
14 and pass the shafts through the rings on the sides of the ark, by which to carry it.	14 E le farai passare pei cerchi, che sono ai lati dell'arca, perché servano a trasportarla:
15 The shafts wil stay in the rings of the ark and not be withdrawn.	15 E staranno sempre inserte ne' cerchi, e mai da essi si trarran fuora.
16 Inside the ark you wil put the Testimony which I am about to give you.	16 E nell'arca riporrai la legge, ch'io ti darò.
17 'You wil also make a mercy-seat of pure gold, two and a half cubits long and one and a half cubitswide,	17 Farai ancora il propiziatorio di oro purissimo: la sua lunghezza sarà di due cubiti e mezzo, e la larghezza di un cubito e mezzo.
18 and you wil model two great winged creatures of beaten gold, you wil make them at the two ends ofthe mercy-seat.	18 Farai anche due cherubini d'oro lavorati al martello dall'una e dall'altra parte del propiziatorio.
19 Model one of the winged creatures at one end and the other winged creature at the other end; youwil model the winged creatures of a piece with the mercy-seat at either end.	19 Un cherubino da un lato, e uno dall'altro.
20 The winged creatures must have their wings spread upwards, protecting the mercy-seat with theirwings and facing each other, their faces being towards the mercy-seat.	20 Ei copriranno l'uno e l'altro lato del propiziatorio stendendo le ali, e adombreranno il propiziatorio, e si guarderanno l'un l'altro, avendo le facce rivolte al propiziatorio, il quale debb'essere il coperchio dell’arca:
21 You wil put the mercy-seat on the top of the ark, and inside the ark you will put the Testimony which Iam about to give you.	21 Nella quale porrai la legge che io ti darò.
22 There I shall come to meet you; from above the mercy-seat, from between the two winged creatureswhich are on the ark of the Testimony, I shall give you al my orders for the Israelites.	22 Di lì io t'intimerò i miei comandamenti di sopra al propiziatorio, e di mezzo ai due cherubini, che saranno sopra l'arca della testimonianza, dirò a te tutte quelle cose, le quali io ordinerò per mezzo di te a' figliuoli d'Israele.
23 'You must also make a table of acacia wood, two cubits long, one cubit wide and one and a halfcubits high.	23 Farai anche una mensa di legni di setim, la quale sarà lunga due cubiti, e larga un cubito, e alta un cubito e mezzo.
24 You wil overlay it with pure gold, and make a gold moulding al round it.	24 E la coprirai di lamine d'oro purissimo: e le farai una cornice d'oro all'intorno:
25 You wil fit it with struts of a hand's breadth and make a gold moulding round the struts.	25 E alla cornice una corona parte piana, parte scolpita, alta quattro dita: e sopra di questa un’altra corona piccola d'oro.
26 You wil make four gold rings for it and fix the four rings at the four corners where the four legs are.	26 E preparerai ancora quattro cerchi d'oro, e li porrai a' quattro lati della mensa stessa uno per ognuno de' piedi.
27 The rings must lie close to the struts to hold the shafts for carrying the table.	27 Sotto la corona saranno i cerchi d’oro per far passare per essi le stanghe, onde possa portarsi la mensa.
28 You must make the shafts of acacia wood and overlay them with gold. The table must be carried bythese.	28 Le stanghe stesse le farai di legni di setim, e le coprirai di lame d'oro, e serviranno a portarsi la mensa.
29 You must make dishes, cups, jars and libation bowls for it; you must make these of pure gold,	29 E formerai ancora d'oro purissimo le scodelle, e le caraffe, i turiboli, e le coppe, onde offerire le libagioni.
30 and on the table, in my presence, you wil always put the loaves of permanent offering.	30 E sulla mensa terrai sempre esposti davanti a me i pani della proposizione.
31 'You wil also make a lamp-stand of pure gold; the lamp-stand must be of beaten gold, base andstem. Its cups, calyxes and petals, must be of a piece with it.	31 Farai anche un candelliere d'oro purissimo battuto, il suo tronco, le braccia, le coppe, e le sferette, e i gigli, che di esso usciranno.
32 Six branches must spring from its sides: three of the lamp-stand's branches from one side, three ofthe lamp-stand's branches from the other.	32 Sei braccia usciranno da' due lati, tre dall'uno, e tre dall'altro.
33 The first branch must carry three cups shaped like almond blossoms, each with its calyx and petals;the second branch, too, must carry three cups shaped like almond blossoms, each with its calyx and bud, andsimilarly for all six branches springing from the lamp-stand.	33 Tre coppe quasi a forma di una noce ad ogni braccio, e una sferetta, e un giglio: e parimente tre coppe di figura di una noce all'altro braccio, e la sferetta, e il giglio: così saran formate le sei braccia che usciranno dal tronco.
34 The lamp-stand itself must carry four cups shaped like almond blossoms, each with its calyx and bud:	34 Nel tronco poi del candeliere saran quattro coppe di figura di una noce, e ad ogni coppa la sua sferetta, e i gigli.
35 one calyx under the first two branches springing from the lamp-stand, one calyx under the next pairof branches and one calyx under the last pair of branches -- thus for al six branches springing from the lamp-stand.	35 Dalle palle che saranno in tre luoghi del tronco, usciranno da ognuna due bracci, e saranno in tutto sei bracci.
36 The calyxes and the branches wil be of a piece with the lamp-stand, and the whole made from asingle piece of pure gold, beaten out.	36 Le palle adunque, e le braccia saranno d’una stessa massa: il tutto d'oro finissimo lavorato a martello.
37 You wil also make seven lamps for it and mount the lamps in such a way that they light up the spacein front of it.	37 Farai ancora sette lucerne, e le porrai sul candelliere, affinché illuminino quello che sta loro dirimpetto.
38 The snuffers and trays must be of pure gold.	38 Parimente le smoccolatoie, e i vasi dove smorzare quello che è smoccolato, saran fatti d'oro purissimo.
39 You wil use a talent of pure gold for the lamp-stand and al its accessories;	39 Tutto il peso del candelliere con tutti i suoi vasi sarà un talento d'oro finissimo.
40 and see that you work to the design which was shown you on the mountain.'	40 Mira, e fa' secondo il modello fatto vedere a te sul monte.
