1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said,	1 - Ed il Signore parlò a Mosè, e disse:
2 'Tel the Israelites to set aside a contribution for me; you wil accept a contribution from everyonewhose heart prompts him to give it.	2 «Dirai ai figli d'Israele che mi portino dei doni; li riceverai da chiunque spontaneamente li offrirà.
3 And this is what you wil accept from them: gold, silver and bronze;	3 Le cose poi che dovete raccogliere son queste: Oro, argento e bronzo;
4 materials dyed violet-purple, red-purple and crimson, fine linen, goats' hair;	4 giacinto, porpora, scarlatto tinto due volte, e bisso; peli di capra,
5 rams' skins dyed red, fine leather, acacia wood;	5 pelli d'ariete tinte in rosso ed in violetto; legni di setim;
6 oil for the light, spices for the anointing oil and fragrant incense;	6 olio per mantenere le lampade, aromi per l'unguento, incensi d'ottimo odore;
7 cornelian and other stones to be set in the ephod and breastplate.	7 pietre d'onice, e gemme per adornare l'efod ed il razionale.
8 Make me a sanctuary so that I can reside among them.	8 Mi costruiranno un santuario, ed io abiterò in mezzo a loro.
9 You will make it al according to the design for the Dwel ing and the design for its furnishings which Ishall now show you.	9 E lo farete in tutto conforme al modello che io ti mostrerò, per il tabernacolo e per tutti gli arredi del suo culto.
10 'You must make me an ark of acacia wood, two and a half cubits long, one and a half cubits wide andone and a half cubits high.	10 Lavorate con legno di setim un'arca, che abbia di lunghezza due cubiti e mezzo, di larghezza un cubito e mezzo, e d'altezza similmente un cubito e mezzo.
11 You wil overlay it, inside and out, with pure gold and make a gold moulding al round it.	11 La ricoprirai d'oro purissimo dentro e fuori, e sopra vi porrai tutt'intorno una cornice d'oro.
12 You wil cast four gold rings for it and fix them to its four supports: two rings on one side and tworings on the other.	12 Inoltre, quattro anelli d'oro, che porrai ai quattro angoli dell'arca: due anelli stiano da un lato, e due dall'altro lato.
13 You wil also make shafts of acacia wood and overlay them with gold	13 Farai anche [due] stanghe di legno di setim, che coprirai d'oro;
14 and pass the shafts through the rings on the sides of the ark, by which to carry it.	14 e le passerai per gli anelli che sono ai lati dell'arca, acciò si possa trasportare per mezzo di esse;
15 The shafts wil stay in the rings of the ark and not be withdrawn.	15 staranno sempre nei loro anelli, e non ne verranno giammai cavate.
16 Inside the ark you wil put the Testimony which I am about to give you.	16 E nell'arca porrai la testimonianza, ch'io ti darò.
17 'You wil also make a mercy-seat of pure gold, two and a half cubits long and one and a half cubitswide,	17 Farai anche il propiziatorio d'oro purissimo; avrà di lunghezza due cubiti e mezzo, ed un cubito e mezzo di larghezza.
18 and you wil model two great winged creatures of beaten gold, you wil make them at the two ends ofthe mercy-seat.	18 E due cherubini d'oro battuto, alle due estremità dell'oracolo:
19 Model one of the winged creatures at one end and the other winged creature at the other end; youwil model the winged creatures of a piece with the mercy-seat at either end.	19 un cherubino da una parte, e l'altro dall'altra.
20 The winged creatures must have their wings spread upwards, protecting the mercy-seat with theirwings and facing each other, their faces being towards the mercy-seat.	20 Cuoprano dalle due parti il propiziatorio tenendo stese le ali, e adombrino il luogo dell'oracolo; si guardino l'un l'altro, avendo le facce rivolte al propiziatorio. Con questo dev'esser coperta l'arca,
21 You wil put the mercy-seat on the top of the ark, and inside the ark you will put the Testimony which Iam about to give you.	21 nella quale porrai la testimonianza ch'io ti darò.
22 There I shall come to meet you; from above the mercy-seat, from between the two winged creatureswhich are on the ark of the Testimony, I shall give you al my orders for the Israelites.	22 Di lì io darò i miei ordini; di sul propiziatorio, e di mezzo ai due cherubini posti sull'arca dell'alleanza, dirò a te tutte quelle cose che per tuo mezzo comanderò ai figli di Israele.
23 'You must also make a table of acacia wood, two cubits long, one cubit wide and one and a halfcubits high.	23 Farai ancora una mensa di legno di setim, che abbia due cubiti di lunghezza, uno di larghezza, ed uno e mezzo d'altezza.
24 You wil overlay it with pure gold, and make a gold moulding al round it.	24 La dorerai con oro purissimo, e le farai torno torno un labbro d'oro;
25 You wil fit it with struts of a hand's breadth and make a gold moulding round the struts.	25 su questo labbro, una fascia traforata alta quattro dita; e sopra questa, un altro orlo di oro.
26 You wil make four gold rings for it and fix the four rings at the four corners where the four legs are.	26 Preparerai anche quattro anelli d'oro, e li porrai ai quattro angoli della mensa, a ciascun piede.
27 The rings must lie close to the struts to hold the shafts for carrying the table.	27 Gli anelli d'oro staranno sotto la cornice, di modo che vi si possano inserire delle stanghe per trasportare la mensa.
28 You must make the shafts of acacia wood and overlay them with gold. The table must be carried bythese.	28 Queste stanghe, le farai di legno di setim ricoperto d'oro, e serviranno a portare la mensa.
29 You must make dishes, cups, jars and libation bowls for it; you must make these of pure gold,	29 E preparerai piatti, coppe, turiboli e tazze d'oro purissimo, con le quali offrire le libazioni.
30 and on the table, in my presence, you wil always put the loaves of permanent offering.	30 E sulla mensa terrai sempre innanzi a me i pani della proposizione.
31 'You wil also make a lamp-stand of pure gold; the lamp-stand must be of beaten gold, base andstem. Its cups, calyxes and petals, must be of a piece with it.	31 Farai inoltre, d'oro battuto il più puro, un candelabro col tronco ed i rami che porteranno calici, sferette, e gigli.
32 Six branches must spring from its sides: three of the lamp-stand's branches from one side, three ofthe lamp-stand's branches from the other.	32 Sei rami ne deriveranno dai lati: tre da uno, e tre dall'altro.
33 The first branch must carry three cups shaped like almond blossoms, each with its calyx and petals;the second branch, too, must carry three cups shaped like almond blossoms, each with its calyx and bud, andsimilarly for all six branches springing from the lamp-stand.	33 Tre calici, come fiore di noce, fatti d'una sferetta, d'un giglio ad un ramo; similmente tre calici a mo' di noce, una sferetta ed un giglio, agli altri rami. Questo è il lavoro dei sei rami che debbono uscire dal tronco.
34 The lamp-stand itself must carry four cups shaped like almond blossoms, each with its calyx and bud:	34 Nel qual tronco saranno quattro calici a fiore di noce, e per ciascun di essi le sferette ed i gigli.
35 one calyx under the first two branches springing from the lamp-stand, one calyx under the next pairof branches and one calyx under the last pair of branches -- thus for al six branches springing from the lamp-stand.	35 Due rami nasceranno sul tronco, da tre sferette, in tre punti, e saranno così in tutto sei rami.
36 The calyxes and the branches wil be of a piece with the lamp-stand, and the whole made from asingle piece of pure gold, beaten out.	36 Sferette e rami usciranno dunque dallo stesso tronco, e saranno tutti d'oro battuto purissimo.
37 You wil also make seven lamps for it and mount the lamps in such a way that they light up the spacein front of it.	37 Farai inoltre sette lampade, e le porrai sul candelabro, acciò facciano luce sul davanti.
38 The snuffers and trays must be of pure gold.	38 Anche gli smoccolatoi ed i vasi ove spengere la smoccolatura, siano d'oro purissimo.
39 You wil use a talent of pure gold for the lamp-stand and al its accessories;	39 Tutto il peso del candelabro e de' suoi accessori sarà d'un talento d'oro purissimo.
40 and see that you work to the design which was shown you on the mountain.'	40 Guarda dunque, e fa' secondo il modello che t'è stato mostrato sul monte.
