1 Yahweh said to Moses and Aaron in Egypt,	1 Pan powiedział do Mojżesza i Aarona w ziemi egipskiej:
2 'This month must be the first of al the months for you, the first month of your year.	2 Miesiąc ten będzie dla was początkiem miesięcy, będzie pierwszym miesiącem roku!
3 Speak to the whole community of Israel and say, "On the tenth day of this month each man must takean animal from the flock for his family: one animal for each household.	3 Powiedzcie całemu zgromadzeniu Izraela tak: Dziesiątego dnia tego miesiąca niech się każdy postara o baranka dla rodziny, o baranka dla domu.
4 If the household is too smal for the animal, he must join with his neighbour nearest to his house,depending on the number of persons. When you choose the animal, you wil take into account what each caneat.	4 Jeśliby zaś rodzina była za mała do spożycia baranka, to niech się postara o niego razem ze swym sąsiadem, który mieszka najbliżej jego domu, aby była odpowiednia liczba osób. Liczyć je zaś będziecie dla spożycia baranka według tego, co każdy może spożyć.
5 It must be an animal without blemish, a male one year old; you may choose it either from the sheep orfrom the goats.	5 Baranek będzie bez skazy, samiec, jednoroczny; wziąć możecie jagnię albo koźlę.
6 You must keep it til the fourteenth day of the month when the whole assembly of the community ofIsrael wil slaughter it at twilight.	6 Będziecie go strzec aż do czternastego dnia tego miesiąca, a wtedy zabije go całe zgromadzenie Izraela o zmierzchu.
7 Some of the blood must then be taken and put on both door-posts and the lintel of the houses where itis eaten.	7 I wezmą krew baranka, i pokropią nią odrzwia i progi domu, w którym będą go spożywać.
8 That night, the flesh must be eaten, roasted over the fire; it must be eaten with unleavened bread andbitter herbs.	8 I tej samej nocy spożyją mięso pieczone w ogniu, spożyją je z chlebem niekwaszonym i gorzkimi ziołami.
9 Do not eat any of it raw or boiled in water, but roasted over the fire, with the head, feet and entrails.	9 Nie będziecie spożywać z niego nic surowego ani ugotowanego w wodzie, lecz upieczone na ogniu, z głową, nogami i wnętrznościami.
10 You must not leave any of it over till the morning: whatever is left till morning you must burn.	10 Nie może nic pozostać z niego na dzień następny. Cokolwiek zostanie z niego na następny dzień, w ogniu spalicie.
11 This is how you must eat it: with a belt round your waist, your sandals on your feet and your staff inyour hand. You must eat it hurriedly: it is a Passover in Yahweh's honour.	11 Tak zaś spożywać go będziecie: Biodra wasze będą przepasane, sandały na waszych nogach i laska w waszym ręku. Spożywać będziecie pośpiesznie, gdyż jest to Pascha na cześć Pana.
12 That night, I shal go through Egypt and strike down all the first-born in Egypt, man and beast alike,and shal execute justice on al the gods of Egypt, I, Yahweh!	12 Tej nocy przejdę przez Egipt, zabiję wszystko pierworodne w ziemi egipskiej od człowieka aż do bydła i odbędę sąd nad wszystkimi bogami Egiptu - Ja, Pan.
13 The blood wil be a sign for you on the houses where you are. When I see the blood I shall pass overyou, and you wil escape the destructive plague when I strike Egypt.	13 Krew będzie wam służyła do oznaczenia domów, w których będziecie przebywać. Gdy ujrzę krew, przejdę obok i nie będzie pośród was plagi niszczycielskiej, gdy będę karał ziemię egipską.
14 This day must be commemorated by you, and you must keep it as a feast in Yahweh's honour. Youmust keep it as a feast-day for al generations; this is a decree for al time.	14 Dzień ten będzie dla was dniem pamiętnym i obchodzić go będziecie jako święto dla uczczenia Pana. Po wszystkie pokolenia - na zawsze w tym dniu świętować będziecie.
15 "For seven days you must eat unleavened bread. On the first day you must clean the leaven out ofyour houses, for anyone who eats leavened bread from the first to the seventh day must be outlawed from Israel.	15 Przez siedem dni spożywać będziecie chleb niekwaszony. Już w pierwszym dniu usuniecie wszelki kwas z domów waszych, bo kto by jadł kwaszone potrawy od dnia pierwszego do siódmego, wyłączony będzie z Izraela.
16 On the first day you must hold a sacred assembly, and on the seventh day a sacred assembly. Onthose days no work may be done; you wil prepare only what each requires to eat.	16 W pierwszym dniu będziecie mieli zwołanie święte, tak samo w dniu siódmym. Nie będziecie wtedy wykonywać żadnej pracy. Będzie wam tylko wolno przygotować pożywienie.
17 You must keep the feast of Unleavened Bread because it was on that same day that I brought yourarmies out of Egypt. You wil keep that day, generation after generation; this is a decree for al time.	17 Przestrzegać będziecie święta Przaśników, gdyż w tym dniu wyprowadziłem wasze zastępy z ziemi egipskiej. Przestrzegajcie tego dnia jako ustanowionego na zawsze we wszystkich waszych pokoleniach.
18 In the first month, from the evening of the fourteenth day until the evening of the twenty-first day, youmust eat unleavened bread.	18 Czternastego dnia miesiąca pierwszego od wieczora winniście spożywać chleb niekwaszony aż do wieczora dwudziestego pierwszego dnia tego miesiąca.
19 For seven days there may be no leaven in your houses, since anyone, either stranger or citizen ofthe country, who eats leavened bread wil be outlawed from the community of Israel.	19 Przez siedem dni nie znajdzie się w domach waszych żaden kwas, bo kto by spożył coś kwaszonego, winien być wyłączony ze zgromadzenia Izraela, tak przybysz, jak i urodzony w kraju.
20 You wil eat nothing with leaven in it; wherever you live, you will eat unleavened bread." '	20 Nie wolno wam jeść nic kwaszonego; we wszystkich domach waszych winniście jeść chleb niekwaszony.
21 Moses summoned al the elders of Israel and said to them, 'Go and choose a lamb or kid for yourfamilies, and kil the Passover victim.	21 Mojżesz zwołał wszystkich starszych Izraela i rzekł do nich: Odłączcie i weźcie baranka dla waszych rodzin i zabijcie jako paschę.
22 Then take a bunch of hyssop, dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and with the blood from the basintouch the lintel and both door-posts; then let none of you venture out of the house til morning.	22 Weźcie gałązkę hizopu i zanurzcie ją we krwi, która jest w naczyniu, i krwią z naczynia skropcie próg i oba odrzwia. Aż do rana nie powinien nikt z was wychodzić przed drzwi swego domu.
23 Then, when Yahweh goes through Egypt to strike it, and sees the blood on the lintel and on bothdoor-posts, he wil pass over the door and not al ow the Destroyer to enter your homes and strike.	23 A gdy Pan będzie przechodził, aby porazić Egipcjan, a zobaczy krew na progu i na odrzwiach, to ominie Pan takie drzwi i nie pozwoli Niszczycielowi wejść do tych domów, aby was zabijał.
24 You wil observe this as a decree binding you and your children for al time,	24 Przestrzegajcie tego przykazania jako prawa na wieki ważnego dla ciebie i dla twych dzieci!
25 and when you have entered the country which Yahweh will give you, as he has promised, you wilobserve this ritual.	25 Gdy zaś wejdziecie do ziemi, którą da wam Pan, jak obiecał, przestrzegajcie tego obyczaju.
26 And when your children ask you, "What does this ritual mean?"	26 Gdy się was zapytają dzieci: cóż to za święty zwyczaj? -
27 you will tel them, "It is the Passover sacrifice in honour of Yahweh who passed over the houses ofthe Israelites in Egypt, and struck Egypt but spared our houses." ' And the people bowed in worship.	27 tak im odpowiecie: To jest ofiara Paschy na cześć Pana, który w Egipcie ominął domy Izraelitów. Poraził Egipcjan, a domy nasze ocalił. Lud wtedy ukląkł i oddał pokłon.
28 The Israelites then went away and did as Yahweh had ordered Moses and Aaron.	28 Izraelici poszli i wypełnili przepis. Jak nakazał Pan Mojżeszowi i Aaronowi, tak uczynili.
29 And at midnight Yahweh struck down al the first-born in Egypt from the first-born of Pharaoh, heir tohis throne, to the first-born of the prisoner in the dungeon, and the first-born of all the livestock.	29 O północy Pan pozabijał wszystko pierworodne Egiptu: od pierworodnego syna faraona, który siedzi na swym tronie, aż do pierworodnego tego, który był zamknięty w więzieniu, a także wszelkie pierworodne z bydła.
30 Pharaoh and al his officials and al the Egyptians got up in the night, and there was great wailing inEgypt, for there was not a house without its dead.	30 I wstał faraon jeszcze w nocy, a z nim wszyscy jego dworzanie i wszyscy Egipcjanie. 31 It was stil dark when Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron and said, 'Up, leave my subjects, youand the Israelites! Go and worship Yahweh as you have asked!	31 I jeszcze w nocy kazał faraon wezwać Mojżesza i Aarona, i powiedział: Wstańcie, wyruszajcie z pośrodka mojego ludu, tak wy, jak Izraelici! Idźcie i oddajcie cześć Panu według waszego pragnienia.
32 And take your flocks and herds as you have asked, and go! And bless me too!'	32 Weźcie ze sobą owce wasze i woły, jak pragnęliście, i idźcie. Proście także o łaskę dla mnie.
33 The Egyptians urged the people on and hurried them out of the country because, they said,'Otherwise we shal al be dead.'	33 I nalegali Egipcjanie na lud, aby jak najprędzej wyszli z kraju, gdyż mówili: Wszyscy pomrzemy.
34 So the people carried off their dough stil unleavened, their bowls wrapped in their cloaks, on theirshoulders.	34 I wziął lud ciasto, zanim się zakwasiło w dzieżach owiniętych płaszczami, i niósł je na barkach.
35 The Israelites did as Moses had told them and asked the Egyptians for silver and golden jewel ery,and clothing.	35 Synowie Izraela uczynili według tego, jak im nakazał Mojżesz, i wypożyczali od Egipcjan przedmioty srebrne i złote oraz szaty.
36 Yahweh made the Egyptians so much impressed with the people that they gave them what theyasked. So they despoiled the Egyptians.	36 Pan wzbudził życzliwość Egipcjan dla Izraelitów, i pożyczyli im. I w ten sposób Izraelici złupili Egipcjan.
37 The Israelites left Rameses for Succoth, about six hundred thousand on the march-men, that is, notcounting their families.	37 I wyruszyli Izraelici z Ramses ku Sukkot w liczbie około sześciuset tysięcy mężów pieszych, prócz dzieci.
38 A mixed crowd of people went with them, and flocks and herds, quantities of livestock.	38 Także wielkie mnóstwo cudzoziemców wyruszyło z nimi, nadto owce i woły, i olbrzymi dobytek.
39 And with the dough which they had brought from Egypt they baked unleavened cakes, because thedough had not risen, since they had been driven out of Egypt without time to linger or to prepare food forthemselves.	39 Z ciasta, które wynieśli z Egiptu, wypiekli niekwaszone placki, ponieważ się nie zakwasiło. Wypędzeni z Egiptu bez najmniejszej zwłoki, nie zdołali przygotować nawet zapasów na drogę.
40 The time that the Israelites spent in Egypt was four hundred and thirty years.	40 A czas pobytu Izraelitów w Egipcie trwał czterysta trzydzieści lat.
41 And on the very day the four hundred and thirty years ended, al Yahweh's armies left Egypt.	41 I oto tego samego dnia, po upływie czterystu trzydziestu lat, wyszły wszystkie zastępy Pana z ziemi egipskiej.
42 The night when Yahweh kept vigil to bring them out of Egypt must be kept as a vigil in honour ofYahweh by al Israelites, for al generations.	42 Tej nocy czuwał Pan nad wyjściem synów Izraela z ziemi egipskiej. Dlatego noc ta winna być czuwaniem na cześć Pana dla wszystkich Izraelitów po wszystkie pokolenia.
43 Yahweh said to Moses and Aaron, 'This is the ritual for the Passover: no alien may eat it,	43 Pan powiedział do Mojżesza i Aarona: Takie będzie prawo dotyczące Paschy: Żaden cudzoziemiec nie może jej spożywać.
44 but any slave bought for money may eat it, once you have circumcised him.	44 Jednak niewolnik, nabyty za pieniądze, któregoś poddał obrzezaniu, może ją spożywać.
45 No stranger and no hired servant may eat it.	45 Obcokrajowiec i najemnik nie mogą jej spożywać.
46 It must be eaten in one house alone; you wil not take any of the meat out of the house; nor may youbreak any of its bones.	46 W jednym i tym samym domu winna być spożyta. Nie można wynieść z tego domu żadnego kawałka mięsa na zewnątrz. Kości z niego łamać nie będziecie.
47 'The whole community of Israel must keep it.	47 Całe zgromadzenie Izraela będzie to zachowywało.
48 Should a stranger residing with you wish to keep the Passover in honour of Yahweh, al the males ofhis household must be circumcised: he wil then be al owed to keep it and wil count as a citizen of the country.But no uncircumcised person may eat it.	48 Jeśliby cudzoziemiec przebywający u ciebie chciał obchodzić Paschę ku czci Pana, to musisz obrzezać wpierw wszystkich potomków jego domu, i wtedy dopiero dopuścić go możesz do obchodzenia Paschy, gdyż wówczas będzie miał prawa tubylców. Żaden jednak nieobrzezany nie może spożyw
49 The same law will apply to the citizen and the stranger resident among you.'	49 Takie samo prawo będzie dla tubylców i dla cudzoziemców przebywających pośród was.
50 The Israelites all did as Yahweh had ordered Moses and Aaron,	50 Wszyscy Izraelici uczynili tak, jak nakazał Pan Mojżeszowi i Aaronowi.
51 and that same day Yahweh brought the Israelites out of Egypt in their armies.	51 Tego samego dnia wywiódł Pan synów Izraela z ziemi egipskiej według ich zastępów.
