Ezra 1

NEW JERUSALEM	Біблія
1 In the first year of Cyrus king of Persia -- to fulfil the word of Yahweh spoken through Jeremiah -Yahwehroused the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia to issue a proclamation and to have it publicly displayed throughout hiskingdom:	1 А першого року перського царя Кира, щоб справдилось Господнє слово через уста Єремії, розбудив Господь дух перського царя Кира, і він звелів оповістити по всьому своєму царстві словом і навіть письмом:
2 'Cyrus king of Persia says this, "Yahweh, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earthand has appointed me to build him a Temple in Jerusalem, in Judah.	2 «Так каже Кир, перський цар: Господь, Бог неба, дав мені всі царства на землі й повелів мені збудувати йому дім у Єрусалимі, що в Юдеї.
3 Whoever among you belongs to the ful tal y of his people, may his God be with him! Let him go up toJerusalem, in Judah, and build the Temple of Yahweh, God of Israel, who is the God in Jerusalem.	3 Хто з вас із його народу, — хай його Бог буде з ним, — поїде до Єрусалиму, що в Юдеї та збудує дім Господа Бога Ізраїля, того Бога, що в Єрусалимі.
4 And let each survivor, wherever he lives, be helped by the people of his locality with silver, gold,equipment and riding beasts, as wel as voluntary offerings for the Temple of God which is in Jerusalem." '	4 Всім же, що зосталися (живими), по всіх краях, де б вони не жили, люди кожного краю допоможуть їм сріблом, золотом та іншим добром і худобою, а й добровільними датками на дім Бога, що в Єрусалимі.»
5 Then the heads of families of Judah and of Benjamin, the priests and the Levites, in fact al whose spirithad been roused by God, prepared to go and rebuild the Temple of Yahweh in Jerusalem;	5 І піднялись голови родин Юди та Веніямина, священики й левіти, всі ті, в яких Господь надхнув духа, щоб іти будувати дім Господній, що в Єрусалимі.
6 and al their neighbours gave them every kind of help: silver, gold, equipment, riding beasts andvaluable presents, in addition to their voluntary offerings.	6 І всі їхні сусіди допомагали їм срібним посудом, золотом, іншим добром, худобою й дорогими речами, не рахуючи усяких добровільних дарів.
7 Furthermore, King Cyrus handed over the articles belonging to the Temple of Yahweh whichNebuchadnezzar had carried away from Jerusalem and put in the temple of his god.	7 Цар же Кир виніс посуд дому Господнього, що Навуходоносор забрав був з Єрусалиму та склав у дім своїх божків.
8 Cyrus king of Persia handed them over to Mithredath the treasurer who checked them out toSheshbazzar the prince of Judah.	8 Виніс його Кир, перський цар, (і здав) на руки Мітридата, скарбника; а цей передав його Шешбацарові, юдейському князеві.
9 The inventory was as fol ows: thirty gold dishes; one thousand silver dishes, twenty-nine repaired;	9 Ось число його: 30 золотих полумисків, 1000 срібних полумисків, 29 ножів,
10 thirty gold bowls; a thousand silver bowls, four hundred and ten damaged; one thousand other articles.	10 тридцять золотих жбанів, 410 срібних жбанів, і 1000 іншого посуду.
11 In al , five thousand four hundred articles of gold and silver. Sheshbazzar took al these with him whenhe led the exiles back from Babylon to Jerusalem.	11 Всього посуду, золотого та срібного, 5 400. Усе це взяв Шешбацар з собою, як відсилано виселенців з Вавилону в Єрусалим.
