Ezra 1

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBBIA CEI 2008
1 In the first year of Cyrus king of Persia -- to fulfil the word of Yahweh spoken through Jeremiah -Yahwehroused the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia to issue a proclamation and to have it publicly displayed throughout hiskingdom:	1 Nell’anno primo di Ciro, re di Persia, perché si adempisse la parola che il Signore aveva detto per bocca di Geremia, il Signore suscitò lo spirito di Ciro, re di Persia, che fece proclamare per tutto il suo regno, anche per iscritto:
2 'Cyrus king of Persia says this, "Yahweh, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earthand has appointed me to build him a Temple in Jerusalem, in Judah.	2 «Così dice Ciro, re di Persia: “Il Signore, Dio del cielo, mi ha concesso tutti i regni della terra. Egli mi ha incaricato di costruirgli un tempio a Gerusalemme, che è in Giuda.
3 Whoever among you belongs to the ful tal y of his people, may his God be with him! Let him go up toJerusalem, in Judah, and build the Temple of Yahweh, God of Israel, who is the God in Jerusalem.	3 Chiunque di voi appartiene al suo popolo, il suo Dio sia con lui e salga a Gerusalemme, che è in Giuda, e costruisca il tempio del Signore, Dio d’Israele: egli è il Dio che è a Gerusalemme.
4 And let each survivor, wherever he lives, be helped by the people of his locality with silver, gold,equipment and riding beasts, as wel as voluntary offerings for the Temple of God which is in Jerusalem." '	4 E a ogni superstite da tutti i luoghi dove aveva dimorato come straniero, gli abitanti del luogo forniranno argento e oro, beni e bestiame, con offerte spontanee per il tempio di Dio che è a Gerusalemme”».
5 Then the heads of families of Judah and of Benjamin, the priests and the Levites, in fact al whose spirithad been roused by God, prepared to go and rebuild the Temple of Yahweh in Jerusalem;	5 Allora si levarono i capi di casato di Giuda e di Beniamino e i sacerdoti e i leviti. A tutti Dio aveva destato lo spirito, affinché salissero a costruire il tempio del Signore che è a Gerusalemme.
6 and al their neighbours gave them every kind of help: silver, gold, equipment, riding beasts andvaluable presents, in addition to their voluntary offerings.	6 Tutti i loro vicini li sostennero con oggetti d’argento, oro, beni, bestiame e oggetti preziosi, oltre a quello che ciascuno offrì spontaneamente.
7 Furthermore, King Cyrus handed over the articles belonging to the Temple of Yahweh whichNebuchadnezzar had carried away from Jerusalem and put in the temple of his god.	7 Anche il re Ciro fece prelevare gli utensili del tempio del Signore, che Nabucodònosor aveva asportato da Gerusalemme e aveva deposto nel tempio del suo dio.
8 Cyrus king of Persia handed them over to Mithredath the treasurer who checked them out toSheshbazzar the prince of Judah.	8 Ciro, re di Persia, li fece prelevare da Mitridate, il tesoriere, e li consegnò a Sesbassàr, principe di Giuda.
9 The inventory was as fol ows: thirty gold dishes; one thousand silver dishes, twenty-nine repaired;	9 Questo è il loro inventario: bacili d’oro: trenta; bacili d’argento: mille; coltelli: ventinove;
10 thirty gold bowls; a thousand silver bowls, four hundred and ten damaged; one thousand other articles.	10 coppe d’oro: trenta; coppe d’argento di second’ordine: quattrocentodieci; altri utensili: mille.
11 In al , five thousand four hundred articles of gold and silver. Sheshbazzar took al these with him whenhe led the exiles back from Babylon to Jerusalem.	11 Tutti gli utensili d’oro e d’argento erano cinquemilaquattrocento. Sesbassàr li riportò tutti, quando gli esuli tornarono da Babilonia a Gerusalemme.
