NEW JERUSALEM	BIBBIA TINTORI
1 In the first year of Cyrus king of Persia -- to fulfil the word of Yahweh spoken through Jeremiah -Yahwehroused the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia to issue a proclamation and to have it publicly displayed throughout hiskingdom:	1 L'anno primo di Ciro, re dei Persiani, per adempire la parola del Signore pronunziata per bocca di Geremia, il Signore eccitò lo spirito di Ciro re dei Persiani, il quale fece pubblicare a voce e per iscritto, in tutto il suo regno, questo editto:
2 'Cyrus king of Persia says this, "Yahweh, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earthand has appointed me to build him a Temple in Jerusalem, in Judah.	2 « Così dice Ciro re dei Persiani: Il Signore Dio del cielo mi ha dato tutti i regni della terra, e m'ha comandato d'edificargli una casa in Gerusalemme, che è in Giudea.
3 Whoever among you belongs to the ful tal y of his people, may his God be with him! Let him go up toJerusalem, in Judah, and build the Temple of Yahweh, God of Israel, who is the God in Jerusalem.	3 Chi tra di voi appartiene al suo popolo? Il suo Dio sia con lui: ascenda pure a Gerusalemme, nella Giudea, a edificare la casa del Signore Dio d'Israele, il Dio che è in Gerusalemme.
4 And let each survivor, wherever he lives, be helped by the people of his locality with silver, gold,equipment and riding beasts, as wel as voluntary offerings for the Temple of God which is in Jerusalem." '	4 Tutti quelli che rimangono, dovunque dimorino, gli uomini del posto li aiutino con argento, oro, beni e bestiami, oltre le offerte volontarie al tempio di Dio che è in Gerusalemme ».
5 Then the heads of families of Judah and of Benjamin, the priests and the Levites, in fact al whose spirithad been roused by God, prepared to go and rebuild the Temple of Yahweh in Jerusalem;	5 Allora i capi delle famiglie di Giuda e di Beniamino, i sacerdoti, i leviti, e tutti quelli a cui Dio eccitò lo spirito, si mossero per andare a edificare il tempio del Signore in Gerusalemme.
6 and al their neighbours gave them every kind of help: silver, gold, equipment, riding beasts andvaluable presents, in addition to their voluntary offerings.	6 E tutti quelli che erano all'intorno aiutarono la loro opera con vasi d'argento, d'oro, e beni, e bestiami e suppellettili, oltre le offerte spon tanee.
7 Furthermore, King Cyrus handed over the articles belonging to the Temple of Yahweh whichNebuchadnezzar had carried away from Jerusalem and put in the temple of his god.	7 Di più, il re Ciro mise fuori i vasi del tempio del Signore, che Nabucodonosor aveva portati via da Gerusalemme e posti nel tempio del suo dio.
8 Cyrus king of Persia handed them over to Mithredath the treasurer who checked them out toSheshbazzar the prince of Judah.	8 Ciro re dei Persiani li trasse fuori per mezzo di Mitridate, figlio di Gazabar, e li contò a Sassabasar principe di Giuda.

10 thirty gold bowls; a thousand silver bowls, four hundred and ten damaged; one thousand other articles.	10 quattrocento dieci tazze d'argento di second'ordine, e mille altri vasi.
11 In al , five thousand four hundred articles of gold and silver. Sheshbazzar took al these with him whenhe led the exiles back from Babylon to Jerusalem.	11 In tutto i vasi d'oro e d'argento erano cinque mila quattrocento. Sassabasar li riportò tutti con quelli della trasmigrazione che salivano da Babilonia a Gerusalemme.
