NEW JERUSALEM	STUTTGARTENSIA-DELITZSCH
1 For the sons of Issachar: Tola, Puah, Jashub, Shimron: four.	1 וְלִבְנֵי יִשָׂשכָר תֹּולָע וּפוּאָה [יָשִׁיב כ] (יָשׁוּב ק) וְשִׁמְרֹון אַרְבָּעָה׃ ס
2 Sons of Tola: Uzzi, Rephaiah, Jeriel, Jahmai, Ibsam, Shemuel, heads of their families of Tola. In thetime of David, these numbered twenty-two thousand six hundred stout fighting men, grouped according to theirkinship.	2 וּבְנֵי תֹולָע עֻזִּי וּרְפָיָה וִירִיאֵל וְיַחְמַי וְיִבְשָׂם וּשְׁמוּאֵל רָאשִׁים לְבֵית־אֲבֹותָם לְתֹולָע גִּבֹּורֵי חַיִל לְתֹלְדֹותָם מִסְפָּרָם בִּימֵי דָוִיד עֶשְׂרִים־וּשְׁנַיִם אֶלֶף וְשֵׁשׁ מֵאֹות׃ ס
3 Sons of Uzzi: Izrahiah. Sons of Izrahiah: Michael, Obadiah, Joel, Isshiah. In al five chiefs,	3 וּבְנֵי עֻזִּי יִזְרַחְיָה וּבְנֵי יִזְרַחְיָה מִיכָאֵל וְעֹבַדְיָה וְיֹואֵל יִשִּׁיָּה חֲמִשָּׁה רָאשִׁים כֻּלָּם
4 responsible for fighting companies amounting to thirty-six thousand troops, according to relationshipand family, for they had many women and children.	4 וַעֲלֵיהֶם לְתֹלְדֹותָם לְבֵית אֲבֹותָם גְּדוּדֵי צְבָא מִלְחָמָה שְׁלֹשִׁים וְשִׁשָּׁה אָלֶף כִּי־הִרְבּוּ נָשִׁים וּבָנִים
5 They had kinsmen belonging to all the clans of Issachar, eighty-seven thousand stout fighting men, albelonging to one related group.	5 וַאֲחֵיהֶם לְכֹל מִשְׁפְּחֹות יִשָׂשכָר גִּבֹּורֵי חֲיָלִים שְׁמֹונִים וְשִׁבְעָה אֶלֶף הִתְיַחְשָׂם לַכֹּל׃ פ
6 Sons of Benjamin: Bela, Becher, Jediael: three.	6 בִּנְיָמִן בֶּלַע וָבֶכֶר וִידִיעֲאֵל שְׁלֹשָׁה
7 Sons of Bela: Ezbon, Uzzi, Uzziel, Jerimoth and Iri: five, chiefs of families and warriors. Their officialgenealogy included twenty-two thousand and thirty-four members.	7 וּבְנֵי בֶלַע אֶצְבֹּון וְעֻזִּי וְעֻזִּיאֵל וִירִימֹות וְעִירִי חֲמִשָּׁה רָאשֵׁי בֵּית אָבֹות גִּבֹּורֵי חֲיָלִים וְהִתְיַחְשָׂם עֶשְׂרִים וּשְׁנַיִם אֶלֶף וּשְׁלֹשִׁים וְאַרְבָּעָה׃ ס
8 Sons of Becher: Zemirah, Joash, Eliezar, Elioenai, Omri, Jeremoth, Abijah, Anathoth, Alemeth, althese were the sons of Becher.	8 וּבְנֵי בֶכֶר זְמִירָה וְיֹועָשׁ וֶאֱלִיעֶזֶר וְאֶלְיֹועֵינַי וְעָמְרִי וִירֵמֹות וַאֲבִיָּה וַעֲנָתֹות וְעָלָמֶת כָּל־אֵלֶּה בְּנֵי־בָכֶר
9 The official genealogy of the descendants of the chiefs of their families included twenty thousand twohundred warriors.	9 וְהִתְיַחְשָׂם לְתֹלְדֹותָם רָאשֵׁי בֵּית אֲבֹותָם גִּבֹּורֵי חָיִל עֶשְׂרִים אֶלֶף וּמָאתָיִם׃ ס
10 Sons of Jediael: Bilhan. Sons of Bilhan: Jeush, Benjamin, Ehud, Chenaanah, Zethan, Tarshish,Ahishahar.	10 וּבְנֵי יְדִיעֲאֵל בִּלְהָן וּבְנֵי בִלְהָן [יְעִישׁ כ] (יְעוּשׁ ק) וּבִנְיָמִן וְאֵהוּד וּכְנַעֲנָה וְזֵיתָן וְתַרְשִׁישׁ וַאֲחִישָׁחַר
11 Al these sons of Jediael, became heads of families, stout fighting men, numbering seventeenthousand two hundred men fit for active service.	11 כָּל־אֵלֶּה בְּנֵי יְדִיעֲאֵל לְרָאשֵׁי הָאָבֹות גִּבֹּורֵי חֲיָלִים שִׁבְעָה־עָשָׂר אֶלֶף וּמָאתַיִם יֹצְאֵי צָבָא לַמִּלְחָמָה
12 Shuppim and Huppim. Son of Ir: Hushim; his son: Aher.	12 וְשֻׁפִּם וְחֻפִּם בְּנֵי עִיר חֻשִׁם בְּנֵי אַחֵר
13 Sons of Naphtali: Jahziel, Guni, Jezer, Shal um. These were the sons of Bilhah.	13 בְּנֵי נַפְתָּלִי יַחֲצִיאֵל וְגוּנִי וְיֵצֶר וְשַׁלּוּם בְּנֵי בִלְהָה׃ פ
14 Sons of Manasseh: Asriel, born of his Aramaean concubine. She gave birth to Machir, father ofGilead.	14 בְּנֵי מְנַשֶּׁה אַשְׂרִיאֵל אֲשֶׁר יָלָדָה פִּילַגְשֹׁו הָאֲרַמִּיָּה יָלְדָה אֶת־מָכִיר אֲבִי גִלְעָד
15 Machir took a wife for Huppim and Shuppim. His sister's name was Maacah. The name of the secondson was Zelophehad. Zelophehad had daughters.	15 וּמָכִיר לָקַח אִשָּׁה לְחֻפִּים וּלְשֻׁפִּים וְשֵׁם אֲחֹתֹו מַעֲכָה וְשֵׁם הַשֵּׁנִי צְלָפְחָד וַתִּהְיֶנָה לִצְלָפְחָד בָּנֹות
16 Maacah the wife of Machir gave birth to a son whom she cal ed Peresh. His brother was cal edSheresh and his sons Ulam and Rakem.	16 וַתֵּלֶד מַעֲכָה אֵשֶׁת־מָכִיר בֵּן וַתִּקְרָא שְׁמֹו פֶּרֶשׁ וְשֵׁם אָחִיו שָׁרֶשׁ וּבָנָיו אוּלָם וָרָקֶם
17 Sons of Ulam: Bedan. These were the sons of Gilead son of Machir, son of Manasseh.	17 וּבְנֵי אוּלָם בְּדָן אֵלֶּה בְּנֵי גִלְעָד בֶּן־מָכִיר בֶּן־מְנַשֶּׁה
18 His sister Hammoleketh gave birth to Ishod, Abiezer and Mahlah.	18 וַאֲחֹתֹו הַמֹּלֶכֶת יָלְדָה אֶת־אִישְׁהֹוד וְאֶת־אֲבִיעֶזֶר וְאֶת־מַחְלָה
19 Shemida had sons: Ahian, Shechem, Likhi and Aniam.	19 וַיִּהְיוּ בְּנֵי שְׁמִידָע אַחְיָן וָשֶׁכֶם וְלִקְחִי וַאֲנִיעָם׃ פ
20 Sons of Ephraim: Shuthelah, Bered his son, Tahath his son, Eleadah his son, Tahath his son,	20 וּבְנֵי אֶפְרַיִם שׁוּתָלַח וּבֶרֶד בְּנֹו וְתַחַת בְּנֹו וְאֶלְעָדָה בְנֹו וְתַחַת בְּנֹו
21 Zabad his son, Shuthelah his son and Ezer and Elead whom the men of Gath, natives of the country,kil ed when they came down to raid their cattle.	21 וְזָבָד בְּנֹו וְשׁוּתֶלַח בְּנֹו וְעֵזֶר וְאֶלְעָד וַהֲרָגוּם אַנְשֵׁי־גַת הַנֹּולָדִים בָּאָרֶץ כִּי יָרְדוּ לָקַחַת אֶת־מִקְנֵיהֶם
22 Their father Ephraim mourned for a long time and his brothers came to comfort him.	22 וַיִּתְאַבֵּל אֶפְרַיִם אֲבִיהֶם יָמִים רַבִּים וַיָּבֹאוּ אֶחָיו לְנַחֲמֹו
23 He had intercourse with his wife, who conceived and gave birth to a son whom he cal ed Beriahbecause his house was in misfortune.	23 וַיָּבֹא אֶל־אִשְׁתֹּו וַתַּהַר וַתֵּלֶד בֵּן וַיִּקְרָא אֶת־שְׁמֹו בְּרִיעָה כִּי בְרָעָה הָיְתָה בְּבֵיתֹו
24 He had a daughter, Sheerah, who built Upper and Lower Beth-Horon and Uzzen-Sheerah.	24 וּבִתֹּו שֶׁאֱרָה וַתִּבֶן אֶת־בֵּית־חֹורֹון הַתַּחְתֹּון וְאֶת־הָעֶלְיֹון וְאֵת אֻזֵּן שֶׁאֱרָה
25 Rephah was his son, Shuthelah his son, Tahan his son,	25 וְרֶפַח בְּנֹו וְרֶשֶׁף וְתֶלַח בְּנֹו וְתַחַן בְּנֹו
26 Ladan his son, Ammihud his son, Elishama his son,	26 לַעְדָּן בְּנֹו עַמִּיהוּד בְּנֹו אֱלִישָׁמָע בְּנֹו
27 Nun his son, Joshua his son.	27 נֹון בְּנֹו יְהֹושֻׁעַ בְּנֹו
28 They had lands and settlements in Bethel and its dependencies from Naaran on the east to Gezer andits dependencies on the west, as wel as Shechem and its dependencies as far as Ayyah and its dependencies.	28 וַאֲחֻזָּתָם וּמֹשְׁבֹותָם בֵּית־אֵל וּבְנֹתֶיהָ וְלַמִּזְרָח נַעֲרָן וְלַמַּעֲרָב גֶּזֶר וּבְנֹתֶיהָ וּשְׁכֶם וּבְנֹתֶיהָ עַד־עַיָּה וּבְנֹתֶיהָ
29 Beth-Shean with its dependencies, Taanach and its dependencies, Megiddo and its dependenciesand Dor with its dependencies were in the hands of the sons of Manasseh. There lived the sons of Joseph sonof Israel.	29 וְעַל־יְדֵי בְנֵי־מְנַשֶּׁה בֵּית־שְׁאָן וּבְנֹתֶיהָ תַּעְנַךְ וּבְנֹתֶיהָ מְגִדֹּו וּבְנֹותֶיהָ דֹּור וּבְנֹותֶיהָ בְּאֵלֶּה יָשְׁבוּ בְּנֵי יֹוסֵף בֶּן־יִשְׂרָאֵל׃ פ
30 Sons of Asher: Imnah, Ishvah, Ishvi, Beriah; their sister Serah.	30 בְּנֵי אָשֵׁר יִמְנָה וְיִשְׁוָה וְיִשְׁוִי וּבְרִיעָה וְשֶׂרַח אֲחֹותָם
31 Sons of Beriah: Heber and Malchiel. He fathered Birzaith.	31 וּבְנֵי בְרִיעָה חֶבֶר וּמַלְכִּיאֵל הוּא אֲבִי [בִרְזֹות כ] (בִרְזָיִת׃ ק)
32 Heber fathered Japhlet, Shomer, Hotham and their sister Shua.	32 וְחֶבֶר הֹולִיד אֶת־יַפְלֵט וְאֶת־שֹׁומֵר וְאֶת־חֹותָם וְאֵת שׁוּעָא אֲחֹותָם
33 Sons of Japhlet: Pasach, Bimhal and Ashvath. These were the sons of Japhlet.	33 וּבְנֵי יַפְלֵט פָּסַךְ וּבִמְהָל וְעַשְׁוָת אֵלֶּה בְּנֵי יַפְלֵט
34 Sons of Shomer his brother: Rohgah, Hubbah and Aram.	34 וּבְנֵי שָׁמֶר אֲחִי [וְרֹוהֲגָה כ] (וְרָהְגָּה ק) [יַחְבָּה כ] (וְחֻבָּה ק) וַאֲרָם
35 Sons of Helem his brother: Zophah, Imna, Shelesh and Amal.	35 וּבֶן־הֵלֶם אָחִיו צֹופַח וְיִמְנָע וְשֵׁלֶשׁ וְעָמָל
36 Sons of Zophah: Suah, Harnepher, Shual, Beri and Imrah.	36 בְּנֵי צֹופָח סוּחַ וְחַרְנֶפֶר וְשׁוּעָל וּבֵרִי וְיִמְרָה
37 Bezer, Hod, Shamma, Shilshah, Ithran and Beerah.	37 בֶּצֶר וָהֹוד וְשַׁמָּא וְשִׁלְשָׁה וְיִתְרָן וּבְאֵרָא
38 Sons of Ithran: Jephunneh, Pispa, Ara.	38 וּבְנֵי יֶתֶר יְפֻנֶּה וּפִסְפָּה וַאְרָא
39 Sons of Ulla: Arah, Hanniel, Rizia.	39 וּבְנֵי עֻלָּא אָרַח וְחַנִּיאֵל וְרִצְיָא
40 Al these were the sons of Asher, heads of families, picked men, warriors and senior princes. Theywere registered in fighting companies to the number of twenty-six thousand men.	40 כָּל־אֵלֶּה בְנֵי־אָשֵׁר רָאשֵׁי בֵית־הָאָבֹות בְּרוּרִים גִּבֹּורֵי חֲיָלִים רָאשֵׁי הַנְּשִׂיאִים וְהִתְיַחְשָׂם בַּצָּבָא בַּמִּלְחָמָה מִסְפָּרָם אֲנָשִׁים עֶשְׂרִים וְשִׁשָּׁה אָלֶף׃ ס
