1 For the sons of Issachar: Tola, Puah, Jashub, Shimron: four.	1 The sons of Issachar were Tola, Puah, Jashub, and Shimron: four.
2 Sons of Tola: Uzzi, Rephaiah, Jeriel, Jahmai, Ibsam, Shemuel, heads of their families of Tola. In thetime of David, these numbered twenty-two thousand six hundred stout fighting men, grouped according to theirkinship.	2 The sons of Tola were Uzzi, Rephaiah, Jeriel, Jahmai, Ibsam, and Shemuel, warrior heads of the ancestral houses of Tola. Their kindred numbered twenty-two thousand six hundred in the time of David.

10 Sons of Jediael: Bilhan. Sons of Bilhan: Jeush, Benjamin, Ehud, Chenaanah, Zethan, Tarshish,Ahishahar.	10 The sons of Jediael: Bilhan. The sons of Bilhan were Jeush, Benjamin, Ehud, Chenaanah, Zethan, Tarshish, and Ahishahar.
11 Al these sons of Jediael, became heads of families, stout fighting men, numbering seventeenthousand two hundred men fit for active service.	11 All these were descendants of Jediael, heads of ancestral houses and warriors. They numbered seventeen thousand two hundred men fit for military service. . . Shupham and Hupham.
12 Shuppim and Huppim. Son of Ir: Hushim; his son: Aher.	12 The sons of Dan: Hushim.
13 Sons of Naphtali: Jahziel, Guni, Jezer, Shal um. These were the sons of Bilhah.	13 The sons of Naphtali were Jahziel, Guni, Jezer, and Shallum. These were descendants of Bilhah.

15 Machir took a wife for Huppim and Shuppim. His sister's name was Maacah. The name of the secondson was Zelophehad. 29 Beth-Shean with its dependencies, Taanach and its dependencies, Megiddo and its dependenciesand Dor with its dependencies were in the hands of the sons of Manasseh. There lived the sons of Joseph sonof Israel.	29 Manasseh, however, had possession of Beth-shean and its towns, Taanach and its towns, Megiddo and its towns, and Dor and its towns. In these dwelt the descendants of Joseph, the son of Israel.
30 Sons of Asher: Imnah, Ishvah, Ishvi, Beriah; their sister Serah.	30 The sons of Asher were Imnah, Iishvah, Ishvi, and Beriah; their sister was Serah.
31 Sons of Beriah: Heber and Malchiel. He fathered Birzaith.	31 Beriah's sons were Heber and Malchiel, who was the father of Birzaith.

40 Al these were the sons of Asher, heads of families, picked men, warriors and senior princes. Theywere registered in fighting companies to the number of twenty-six thousand men.	40 All these were descendants of Asher, heads of ancestral houses, distinguished men, warriors, and chiefs among the princes. Their family records numbered twenty-six thousand men fit for military service.
