NEW JERUSALEM	BIBLIA
1 The Israelites listed according to heads of families, commanders of thousands and hundreds, withtheir officials in the king's service who dealt with al matters affecting the companies on monthly duty, month bymonth throughout the year, each company consisting of twenty-four thousand men:	1 Por lo que se refiere al número de los hijos de Israel: Los cabezas de casas paternas, los jefes de millar y de cien y sus escribas atendían al servicio de todo el que acudiera. Las secciones intervenían en todo asunto del rey relevándose todos los meses del año. Cada sección tenía 24.000 hombres.
2 The commander of the first company detailed for the first month was Jashobeam son of Zabdiel,whose company consisted of twenty-four thousand men.	2 Al frente de la primera sección, que era la del primer mes, estaba Yasobam, hijo de Zabdiel; en su sección había 24.000 hombres.
3 He belonged to the family of Perez and was the senior military officer of al those detailed for the firstmonth.	3 Pertenecía a los hijos de Peres y era jefe de todos los comandantes del ejército del primer mes.
4 The commander of the company for the second month was Dodai the Ahohite, whose companyconsisted of twenty-four thousand men.	4 Al frente de la sección del segundo mes estaba Doday, el ajojita, su sección tenía 24.000 hombres.
5 The officer commanding the third body of men for the third month was Benaiah son of Jehoiada, thechief priest, whose company consisted of twenty-four thousand men.	5 Jefe del tercer ejército, para el tercer mes, era Benaías, hijo del sacerdote Yehoyadá; en su sección había 24.000 hombres.
6 This was the Benaiah who was an important member of the Thirty and his company. His son wasAmmizabad.	6 Este Benaías era uno de los Treinta valientes y hallábase al frente de ellos; en su sección estaba su hijo Ammizabad.
7 The fourth for the fourth month was Asahel brother of Joab, and his son Zebadiah after him, whosecompany consisted of twenty-four thousand men.	7 El cuarto, para el cuarto mes, era Asahel, hermano de Joab; le sucedió su hijo Zebadías. En su sección había 24.000 hombres.
8 The fifth officer commanding for the fifth month was Shamhuth the Zerahite, whose companyconsisted of twenty-four thousand men.	8 El quinto, para el quinto mes, era el jefe Samhut el zarejita, cuya sección constaba de 24.000 hombres.
9 The sixth for the sixth month was Ira son of Ikkesh of Tekoa, whose company consisted of twenty-fourthousand men.	9 El sexto, para el sexto mes, era Irá, hijo de Iqués, el tecoíta, y en su sección había 24.000 hombres.
10 The seventh for the seventh month was Helez the Pelonite, one of the Ephraimites, whose companyconsisted of twenty-four thousand men.	10 El séptimo, para el séptimo mes, era Jeles el pelonita, de los benjaminitas; su sección constaba de 24.000 hombres.
11 The eighth for the eighth month was Sibbecai of Hushah, a Zerahite, whose company consisted oftwenty-four thousand men.	11 El octavo, para el octavo mes, era Sibbekay, de Jusá, el zarejita; su sección constaba de 24.000 hombres.
12 The ninth for the ninth month was Abiezer of Anathoth, a Benjaminite, whose company consisted oftwenty-four thousand men.	12 El noveno, para el noveno mes, era Abiézer, de Anatot de los benjaminitas; en su sección había 24.000 hombres.
13 The tenth for the tenth month was Maharai of Netophah, a Zerahite, whose company consisted oftwenty-four thousand men.	13 El décimo, para el décimo mes, era Mahray, de Neftofá, zarejita; su sección constaba de 24.000 hombres.
14 The eleventh for the eleventh month was Benaiah of Pirathon, an Ephraimite, whose companyconsisted of twenty-four thousand men.	14 El undécimo, para el mes undécimo, era Benaías, de Piratón, de los efraimitas; su sección tenía 24.000 hombres.
15 The twelfth for the twelfth month was Heldai of Netophah, of Othniel, whose company consisted oftwenty-four thousand men.	15 El duodécimo, para el mes duodécimo, era Jelday, de Netofá, de la estirpe de Otniel; su sección comprendía 24.000 hombres.
16 Responsible for the tribes of Israel were chief Eliezer son of Zichri for the Reubenites, Shephatiahson of Maacah for the Simeonites,	16 Jefes de las tribus de Israel: Jefe de los rubenitas: Eliezer, hijo de Zikrí. De los simeonitas: Sefatías, hijo de Maaká.
17 Hashabiah son of Kemuel for the Levites, Zadok for the Aaronites,	17 De los levitas: Jasabías, hijo de Quemuel. De Aarón: Sadoq.
18 Elihu, one of David's brothers, for Judah, Omri son of Michael for Issachar,	18 De Judá: Elihú, uno de los hermanos de David. De Isacar: Omrí, hijo de Miguel.
19 Ishmaiah son of Obadiah for Zebulun, Jerimoth son of Azriel for Naphtali,	19 De Zabulón: Yismaías, hijo de Abdías. De Neftalí: Yerimot, hijo de Azriel.
20 Hoshea son of Azaziah for the Ephraimites, Joel son of Pedaiah for the half-tribe of Manasseh,	20 De los efraimitas: Oseas, hijo de Azarías. De la media tribu de Manasés: Joel, hijo de Pedaías.
21 Iddo son of Zechariah for the half-tribe of Manasseh in Gilead, Jaasiel son of Abner for Benjamin,	21 De la media tribu de Manasés en Galaad: Yiddó, hijo de Zacarías. De Benjamín: Yaasiel, hijo de Abner.
22 and Azarel son of Jeroham for Dan. These were the tribal chiefs of Israel.	22 De Dan: Azarael, hijo de Yerojam. Estos son los jefes de las tribus de Israel.
23 Now in the census David did not include those who were twenty years old and under, since Yahwehhad promised to make Israel as numerous as the stars of heaven.	23 David no hizo el censo de los que tenían menos de veinte años, porque Yahveh había dicho que multiplicaría a Israel como las estrellas del cielo.
24 Joab son of Zeruiah began the count but never finished. This is why retribution came upon Israel,and the number did not come up to that recorded in the annals of King David.	24 Joab, hijo de Sarvia, comenzó a hacer el censo, pero no lo acabó; pues con ese motivo la Cólera descargó sobre Israel, por eso su número no alcanza el número de los Anales del rey David.
25 Overseer of the king's supplies: Azmaveth son of Adiel. Overseer of supplies in the countryside,towns, vil ages and fortresses: Jonathan son of Uzziah.	25 Azmávet, hijo de Adiel, tenía a su cargo los depósitos reales. Sobre los depósitos del campo, de las ciudades, de las aldeas, y de las torres, estaba Jonatán, hijo de Uzzías;
26 Overseer of the farmers who til ed the land: Ezri son of Chelub.	26 sobre los labradores del campo que cultivaban las tierras, Ezrí, hijo de Kelub;
27 Overseer of vineyards: Shimei of Ramah. Overseer of those in the vineyards who looked after thewine cellars: Zabdi of Shepham.	27 sobre las viñas, Simí, de Ramá; sobre las provisiones de vino de las bodegas, Zabdí, de Sefán;
28 Overseer of olive and sycamore trees in the Shephelah: Baal-Hanan of Geder. Overseer of oilsupplies: Joash.	28 sobre los olivares y los sicómoros que había en la Tierra Baja, Báal Janán, de Guéder; sobre los almacenes de aceite, Joás;

31 Overseer of donkeys: Jehdeiah of Meranoth. Overseer of flocks: Jaziz the Hagrite. Al the abovesupervised the property belonging to King David.	31 sobre las ovejas, Yaziz el hagarita. Todos estos eran intendentes de la hacienda del rey David.
32 Jonathan, David's uncle, a council or, wise man and scribe, and Jehiel son of Hachmoni took care ofthe king's sons.	32 Jonatán, tío de David, hombre prudente e instruido, era consejero; él y Yejiel, hijo de Yakmoní, cuidaban de los hijos del rey.
33 Ahitophel was the king's counsellor and Hushai, the Archite, was Friend of the King.	33 Ajitófel era consejero del rey, y Jusay el arquita era amigo del rey.
34 Jehoiada son of Benaiah and Abiathar succeeded Ahitophel -- Joab was commander of the king'sarmy.	34 Después de Ajitófel, lo fueron Yehoyadá, hijo de Benaías, y Abiatar. Joab era el jefe del ejército del rey.
