NEW JERUSALEM	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 As regards the orders of the gatekeepers: Of the Korahites there was Meshelemiah son of Kore, oneof the sons of Ebiasaph,	1 واما اقسام البوابين فمن القورحيين مشلميا بن قوري من بني آساف.
2 and Meshelemiah's sons: Zechariah the first-born, Jediael the second, Zebadiah the third, Jathniel thefourth,	2 وكان لمشلميا بنون زكريا البكر ويديعئيل الثاني وزبديا الثالث ويثنئيل الرابع
3 Elam the fifth, Jehohanan the sixth, Elioenai the seventh.	3 وعيلام الخامس ويهو حانان السادس واليهو عيناي السابع.
4 Obed-Edom's sons were: Shemaiah the first-born, Jehozabad the second, Joah the third, Sacar thefourth, Nethanel the fifth,	4 وكان لعوبيد ادوم بنون شمعيا البكر ويهوزاباد الثاني ويوآخ الثالث وساكار الرابع ونثنئيل الخامس
5 Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Peul ethai the eighth; God had indeed blessed him.	5 وعمّيئيل السادس ويساكر السابع وفعلتاي الثامن. لان الله باركه.
6 His son Shemaiah also had sons who wielded authority in their family, because they were men ofoutstanding quality.	6 ولشمعيا ابنه ولد بنون تسلطوا في بيت آبائهم لانهم جبابرة بأس.
7 The sons of Shemaiah were: Othni, Rephael, Obed and Elzabad, whose brothers Elihu andSemachiah were outstanding men.	7 بنو شمعيا عثني ورفائيل وعوبيد والزاباد اخوته اصحاب بأس. اليهو وسمكيا.
8 Al these were sons of Obed-Edom, who with their sons and brothers were men of standing, wel fittedfor their task. Obed-Edom had sixty-two.	8 كل هؤلاء من بني عوبيد ادوم هم وبنوهم واخوتهم اصحاب بأس بقوة في الخدمة اثنان وستون لعوبيد ادوم.
9 Meshelemiah had eighteen outstanding sons and brothers.	9 وكان لمشلميا بنون واخوة اصحاب بأس ثمانية عشر.
10 Hosah, one of the sons of Merari, had sons: Shimri was the first, for although he was not the first-born his father had made him the chief.	10 وكان لحوسة من بني مراري بنون شمري الراس. مع انه لم يكن بكرا جعله ابوه راسا.
11 Hilkiah was the second, Tebaliah the third, Zechariah the fourth: Hosah had thirteen sons andbrothers in al .	11 حلقيا الثاني وطبليا الثالث وزكريا الرابع كل بني حوسة واخوته ثلاثة عشر.
12 These orders of gatekeepers, al ocated according to their headmen, had duties, just like theirbrothers, of serving in the house of Yahweh.	12 لفرق البوابين هؤلاء حسب رؤوس الجبابرة حراسة كما لاخوتهم للخدمة في بيت الرب.
13 Similarly, they drew lots for each gate, whether their families were large or small.	13 والقوا قرعا الصغير كالكبير حسب بيوت آبائهم لكل باب.
14 For the eastern one, the lot fel to Shelemiah; and when they drew lots for Zechariah his son, ashrewd counsel or, his lot came out for the north.	14 فاصابت القرعة من جهة الشرق شلميا. ولزكريا ابنه المشير بفطنة القوا قرعا فخرجت القرعة له الى الشمال.
15 To Obed-Edom went the south, and to his sons the storehouses.	15 لعوبيد ادوم الى الجنوب ولبنيه المخازن.
16 To Shuppim and Hosah went the west with the Gate of the Fel ed Tree-trunk on the upper road. Thecorresponding guards were as fol ows:	16 لشفّيم وحوسة الى الغرب من باب شلكة في مصعد الدرج محرس مقابل محرس.
17 for the east gate, six per day; for the north gate, four per day; for the south gate, four per day; for thestorehouses, two each;	17 من جهة الشرق كان اللاويون ستة. من جهة الشمال اربعة لليوم من جهة الجنوب اربعة لليوم ومن جهة المخازن اثنين اثنين.
18 for the Parbar at the west gate, four by the road and two for the Parbar.	18 من جهة الرواق الى الغرب اربعة في المصعد واثنين في الرواق.
19 These were the orders of the gatekeepers of the sons of Korah and the sons of Merari.	19 هذه اقسام البوابين من بني القورحيين ومن بني مراري
20 The Levites, their brothers, who were responsible for the treasures of the house of God and for thetreasures of consecrated gifts,	20 واما اللاويون فاخيا على خزائن بيت الله وعلى خزائن الاقداس.
21 were the sons of Ladan and belonged to the Gershonites -- the heads of the families of Ladan weredescended from Ladan the Gershonite -- that is to say, the Jehielites.	21 وما بنو لعدان فبنو لعدان الجرشوني رؤس بيت الآباء للعدان الجرشوني يحيئيلي.
22 The sons of the Jehielites, Zetham and Joel his brother, were responsible for the treasures of thehouse of Yahweh.	22 بنو يحيئيل زيثام ويوئيل اخوه على خزائن بيت الرب.
23 Over the Amramites, Izharites, Hebronites, and Uzzielites	23 من العمراميين واليصهاريين والحبرونيين والعزيئيليين
24 was Shebuel son of Gershom, son of Moses, who was governor of the treasures;	24 كان شبوئيل بن جرشوم بن موسى وكان رئيسا على الخزائن.
25 and his brothers of the line of Eliezer were Rehabiah his son, Jeshaiah his son, Joram his son, Zichrihis son and Shelomoth his son.	25 واخوته من أليعزر رحبيا ابنه ويشعيا ابنه ويورام ابنه وزكري ابنه وشلوميث ابنه.
26 This Shelomoth and his kinsmen were responsible for al the consecrated treasures dedicated byKing David, by the heads of families, by the commanders of the thousands and hundreds and by thecommanders of the army,	26 شلوميث هذا واخوته كانوا على جميع خزائن الاقداس التي قدسها داود الملك ورؤوس الآباء ورؤساء الالوف والمئات ورؤساء الجيش.
27 who had dedicated a part of the spoils of war to the service of the house of Yahweh,	27 من الحروب ومن الغنائم قدسوا لتشديد بيت الرب.
28 and also for al that Samuel the seer, Saul son of Kish, Abner son of Ner and Joab son of Zeruiahhad dedicated. In fact, whatever was dedicated was the responsibility of Shelomoth and his kinsmen.	28 وكل ما قدسه صموئيل الرائي وشاول بن قيس وابنير بن نير ويوآب ابن صروية كل مقدس كان تحت يد شلوميث واخوته
29 Of the Izharites, Chananiah and his sons were assigned to secular duties for Israel as officials andjudges.	29 ومن اليصهاريين كننيا وبنوه للعمل الخارجي على اسرائيل عرفاء وقضاة.
30 Of the Hebronites, Hashabiah and his kinsmen, one thousand seven hundred outstanding men werein charge of Israel west of Jordan in everything pertaining to Yahweh and to the service of the king.	30 من الحبرونيين حشبيا واخوته ذوو بأس الف وسبع مئة موكلين على اسرائيل في عبر الاردن غربا في كل عمل الرب وفي خدمة الملك.
31 Of the Hebronites, Jerijah was the head. In the fortieth year of David's reign research was done onthe lineage and relationships of the Hebronites, and men of outstanding quality from among them were found atJazer in Gilead.	31 من الحبرونيين يريا راس الحبرونيين حسب مواليد آبائه. في السنة الرابعة لملك داود طلبوا فوجد فيهم جبابرة بأس في يعزير جلعاد.
32 There were twenty-seven hundred outstanding men, heads of families, whom King David put incharge of the Reubenites, the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh in al matters pertaining to God and theking.	32 واخوته ذوو بأس الفان وسبع مئة رؤوس آباء. ووكلهم داود الملك على الرأوبينيين والجاديين ونصف سبط منسّى في كل أمور الله وامور الملك
