1 As regards the orders of the gatekeepers: Of the Korahites there was Meshelemiah son of Kore, oneof the sons of Ebiasaph,1 εις διαιρεσεις των πυλων υιοις κορειμ μοσολλαμια υιος κωρη εκ των υιων αβιασαφ
2 and Meshelemiah's sons: Zechariah the first-born, Jediael the second, Zebadiah the third, Jathniel thefourth,2 και τω μοσολλαμια υιοι ζαχαριας ο πρωτοτοκος ιδιηλ ο δευτερος ζαβαδιας ο τριτος ιεθνουηλ ο τεταρτος
3 Elam the fifth, Jehohanan the sixth, Elioenai the seventh.3 ωλαμ ο πεμπτος ιωαναν ο εκτος ελιωηναι ο εβδομος
4 Obed-Edom's sons were: Shemaiah the first-born, Jehozabad the second, Joah the third, Sacar thefourth, Nethanel the fifth,4 και τω αβδεδομ υιοι σαμαιας ο πρωτοτοκος ιωζαβαδ ο δευτερος ιωαα ο τριτος σωχαρ ο τεταρτος ναθαναηλ ο πεμπτος
5 Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Peul ethai the eighth; God had indeed blessed him.5 αμιηλ ο εκτος ισσαχαρ ο εβδομος φολλαθι ο ογδοος οτι ευλογησεν αυτον ο θεος
6 His son Shemaiah also had sons who wielded authority in their family, because they were men ofoutstanding quality.6 και τω σαμαια υιω αυτου ετεχθησαν υιοι του πρωτοτοκου ρωσαι εις τον οικον τον πατρικον αυτου οτι δυνατοι ησαν
7 The sons of Shemaiah were: Othni, Rephael, Obed and Elzabad, whose brothers Elihu andSemachiah were outstanding men.7 υιοι σαμαια γοθνι και ραφαηλ και ωβηδ και ελζαβαδ και αχιου υιοι δυνατοι ελιου και σαβχια και ισβακωμ
8 Al these were sons of Obed-Edom, who with their sons and brothers were men of standing, wel fittedfor their task. Obed-Edom had sixty-two.8 παντες απο των υιων αβδεδομ αυτοι και οι αδελφοι αυτων και υιοι αυτων ποιουντες δυνατως εν τη εργασια οι παντες εξηκοντα δυο τω αβδεδομ
9 Meshelemiah had eighteen outstanding sons and brothers.9 και τω μοσολλαμια υιοι και αδελφοι δεκα και οκτω δυνατοι
10 Hosah, one of the sons of Merari, had sons: Shimri was the first, for although he was not the first-born his father had made him the chief.10 και τω ωσα των υιων μεραρι υιοι φυλασσοντες την αρχην οτι ουκ ην πρωτοτοκος και εποιησεν αυτον ο πατηρ αυτου αρχοντα
11 Hilkiah was the second, Tebaliah the third, Zechariah the fourth: Hosah had thirteen sons andbrothers in al .11 της διαιρεσεως της δευτερας ταβλαι ο τριτος ζαχαριας ο τεταρτος παντες ουτοι υιοι και αδελφοι τω ωσα τρισκαιδεκα
12 These orders of gatekeepers, al ocated according to their headmen, had duties, just like theirbrothers, of serving in the house of Yahweh.12 τουτοις αι διαιρεσεις των πυλων τοις αρχουσι των δυνατων εφημεριαι καθως οι αδελφοι αυτων λειτουργειν εν οικω κυριου
13 Similarly, they drew lots for each gate, whether their families were large or small.13 και εβαλον κληρους κατα τον μικρον και κατα τον μεγαν κατ' οικους πατριων αυτων εις πυλωνα και πυλωνα
14 For the eastern one, the lot fel to Shelemiah; and when they drew lots for Zechariah his son, ashrewd counsel or, his lot came out for the north.14 και επεσεν ο κληρος των προς ανατολας τω σαλαμια και ζαχαρια υιοι ιωας τω μελχια εβαλον κληρους και εξηλθεν ο κληρος βορρα
15 To Obed-Edom went the south, and to his sons the storehouses.15 τω αβδεδομ νοτον κατεναντι οικου εσεφιν
16 To Shuppim and Hosah went the west with the Gate of the Fel ed Tree-trunk on the upper road. Thecorresponding guards were as fol ows:16 εις δευτερον τω ωσα προς δυσμαις μετα την πυλην παστοφοριου της αναβασεως φυλακη κατεναντι φυλακης
17 for the east gate, six per day; for the north gate, four per day; for the south gate, four per day; for thestorehouses, two each;17 προς ανατολας εξ την ημεραν βορρα της ημερας τεσσαρες νοτον της ημερας τεσσαρες και εις το εσεφιν δυο
18 for the Parbar at the west gate, four by the road and two for the Parbar.18 εις διαδεχομενους και προς δυσμαις τεσσαρες και εις τον τριβον δυο διαδεχομενους
19 These were the orders of the gatekeepers of the sons of Korah and the sons of Merari.19 αυται αι διαιρεσεις των πυλωρων τοις υιοις κορε και τοις υιοις μεραρι
20 The Levites, their brothers, who were responsible for the treasures of the house of God and for thetreasures of consecrated gifts,20 και οι λευιται αδελφοι αυτων επι των θησαυρων οικου κυριου και επι των θησαυρων των καθηγιασμενων
21 were the sons of Ladan and belonged to the Gershonites -- the heads of the families of Ladan weredescended from Ladan the Gershonite -- that is to say, the Jehielites.21 υιοι λαδαν υιοι τω γηρσωνι τω λαδαν αρχοντες πατριων τω λαδαν τω γηρσωνι ιιηλ
22 The sons of the Jehielites, Zetham and Joel his brother, were responsible for the treasures of thehouse of Yahweh.22 και υιοι ιιηλ ζεθομ και ιωηλ οι αδελφοι επι των θησαυρων οικου κυριου
23 Over the Amramites, Izharites, Hebronites, and Uzzielites23 τω αμβραμ και ισσααρ χεβρων και οζιηλ
24 was Shebuel son of Gershom, son of Moses, who was governor of the treasures;24 και σουβαηλ ο του γηρσαμ του μωυση ηγουμενος επι των θησαυρων
25 and his brothers of the line of Eliezer were Rehabiah his son, Jeshaiah his son, Joram his son, Zichrihis son and Shelomoth his son.25 και τω αδελφω αυτου τω ελιεζερ ρααβιας υιος και ιωσαιας και ιωραμ και ζεχρι και σαλωμωθ
26 This Shelomoth and his kinsmen were responsible for al the consecrated treasures dedicated byKing David, by the heads of families, by the commanders of the thousands and hundreds and by thecommanders of the army,26 αυτος σαλωμωθ και οι αδελφοι αυτου επι παντων των θησαυρων των αγιων ους ηγιασεν δαυιδ ο βασιλευς και οι αρχοντες των πατριων χιλιαρχοι και εκατονταρχοι και αρχηγοι της δυναμεως
27 who had dedicated a part of the spoils of war to the service of the house of Yahweh,27 α ελαβεν εκ των πολεμων και εκ των λαφυρων και ηγιασεν απ' αυτων του μη καθυστερησαι την οικοδομην του οικου του θεου
28 and also for al that Samuel the seer, Saul son of Kish, Abner son of Ner and Joab son of Zeruiahhad dedicated. In fact, whatever was dedicated was the responsibility of Shelomoth and his kinsmen.28 και επι παντων των αγιων σαμουηλ του προφητου και σαουλ του κις και αβεννηρ του νηρ και ιωαβ του σαρουια παν ο ηγιασαν δια χειρος σαλωμωθ και των αδελφων αυτου
29 Of the Izharites, Chananiah and his sons were assigned to secular duties for Israel as officials andjudges.29 τω ισσαρι χωνενια και υιοι αυτου της εργασιας της εξω επι τον ισραηλ του γραμματευειν και διακρινειν
30 Of the Hebronites, Hashabiah and his kinsmen, one thousand seven hundred outstanding men werein charge of Israel west of Jordan in everything pertaining to Yahweh and to the service of the king.30 τω χεβρωνι ασαβιας και οι αδελφοι αυτου υιοι δυνατοι χιλιοι και επτακοσιοι επι της επισκεψεως του ισραηλ περαν του ιορδανου προς δυσμαις εις πασαν λειτουργιαν κυριου και εργασιαν του βασιλεως
31 Of the Hebronites, Jerijah was the head. In the fortieth year of David's reign research was done onthe lineage and relationships of the Hebronites, and men of outstanding quality from among them were found atJazer in Gilead.31 του χεβρωνι ιουδιας ο αρχων των χεβρωνι κατα γενεσεις αυτων κατα πατριας εν τω τεσσαρακοστω ετει της βασιλειας αυτου επεσκεπησαν και ευρεθη ανηρ δυνατος εν αυτοις εν ιαζηρ της γαλααδιτιδος
32 There were twenty-seven hundred outstanding men, heads of families, whom King David put incharge of the Reubenites, the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh in al matters pertaining to God and theking.32 και οι αδελφοι αυτου υιοι δυνατοι δισχιλιοι επτακοσιοι αρχοντες πατριων και κατεστησεν αυτους δαυιδ ο βασιλευς επι του ρουβηνι και γαδδι και ημισους φυλης μανασση εις παν προσταγμα κυριου και λογον βασιλεως
