NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 As regards the orders of the gatekeepers: Of the Korahites there was Meshelemiah son of Kore, oneof the sons of Ebiasaph,	1 Los grupos de porteros fueron los siguientes: De los coreítas: Meselemías, hijo de Coré, uno de los hijos de Ebiasaf.
2 and Meshelemiah's sons: Zechariah the first-born, Jediael the second, Zebadiah the third, Jathniel thefourth,	2 Los hijos de Meselemías fueron: el primogénito, Zacarías; el segundo, Iediael; el tercero, Zebadías; el cuarto, Iatniel;

9 Meshelemiah had eighteen outstanding sons and brothers.	9 Meselemías tuvo hijos y hermanos: eran en total dieciocho hombres valientes.
10 Hosah, one of the sons of Merari, had sons: Shimri was the first, for although he was not the first-born his father had made him the chief.	10 Josá, de los hijos de Merarí, tuvo hijos: el principal de ellos fue Simrí, porque aunque no era el primogénito, su padre lo constituyó jefe;

14 For the eastern one, the lot fel to Shelemiah; and when they drew lots for Zechariah his son, ashrewd counsel or, his lot came out for the north.	14 La puerta oriental le tocó en suerte a Selemías. Después sortearon la puerta del norte, y esta le tocó en suerte a su hijo Zacarías, que era prudente consejero.
15 To Obed-Edom went the south, and to his sons the storehouses.	15 A Obededóm le tocó el sur, y a sus hijos los almacenes.

26 This Shelomoth and his kinsmen were responsible for al the consecrated treasures dedicated byKing David, by the heads of families, by the commanders of the thousands and hundreds and by thecommanders of the army,	26 Selomit y sus hermanos estaban al frente de los tesoros de las ofrendas sagradas que habían sido dedicadas por el rey David, por los jefes de familias, por los jefes de mil y de cien hombres, y por otros oficiales del ejército.
27 who had dedicated a part of the spoils of war to the service of the house of Yahweh,	27 Ellos habían consagrado algo del botín de guerra para el sostenimiento de la Casa del Señor.
28 and also for al that Samuel the seer, Saul son of Kish, Abner son of Ner and Joab son of Zeruiahhad dedicated. In fact, whatever was dedicated was the responsibility of Shelomoth and his kinsmen.	28 Y los que habían consagrado el vidente Samuel, Saúl, hijo de Quis, Abner, hijo de Ner, y Joab, hijo de Seruiá, en una palabra, todas las cosas sagradas estaban bajo la custodia de Selomit y sus hermanos.

31 Of the Hebronites, Jerijah was the head. 32 There were twenty-seven hundred outstanding men, heads of families, whom King David put incharge of the Reubenites, the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh in al matters pertaining to God and theking.	32 Los hermanos de Ieriías –2.700 jefes de familia, hombres de gran valor– fueron puestos por el rey David al frente de los rubenitas, de los gaditas y de la mitad de la tribu de Manasés, en todos los asuntos referentes a Dios y al rey.
