1 As regards his palace, Solomon spent thirteen years on it before the building was completed.	1 Salomon je sagradio i svoj dvor; u trinaest ga je godina potpuno dovršio.
2 He built the House of the Forest of Lebanon, a hundred cubits long, fifty cubits wide, and thirty cubitshigh, on four rows of cedar-wood pil ars,	2 Sagradio je dvor od libanonske šume: stotinu lakata dug, pedeset širok i trideset lakata visok, na četiri reda cedrovih stupova, a na stupovima bijahu cedrove grede.
3 with lengths of cedar wood laid horizontal y on the pil ars. The upper part was panel ed with cedar rightdown to the tie-beams on forty-five pillars, fifteen in each row.	3 Bio je pokriven cedrovinom iznad soba koje su počivale na stupovima. Ovih je bilo četrdeset i pet: petnaest u svakom redu.
4 There were three rows of window-frames, with the windows corresponding to one another at threelevels.	4 Bila su tri reda prozora: po tri su prozora gledala jedan prema drugome.
5 Al the doorways and windows were rectangular, with the windows corresponding to one another atthree levels.	5 Sva vrata s dovratnicima bila su četverokutna i po tri su prozora stajala jedan prema drugome.
6 He also made the Colonnade, fifty cubits long and thirty cubits broad, with a cornice in front.	6 Načinio je trijem od stupova, pedeset lakata dug i trideset širok.
7 He also made the Hal of the Throne where he used to dispense justice, that is, the Hal of Justice; it waspanel ed in cedar from floor to beams.	7 Zatim je sagradio prijestolni trijem gdje je sudio; i sudački trijem, obložen cedrovinom od poda do stropa.
8 His own living quarters, in the other court and inwards from the Hal , were of the same construction. Andthere was a house similar to this Hal for Pharaoh's daughter whom he had taken in marriage.	8 Njegovo prebivalište, u drugom dvorištu i unutar predvorja, bilo je istoga oblika. Sagradio je i kuću, nalik na onaj trijem, faraonovoj kćeri, kojom se bijaše oženio.
9 Al these buildings were of special stones cut to measure, trimmed on the inner and outer sides with thesaw, from the foundations to the coping-	9 Sve su te građevine bile od biranog kamena, sječena po mjeri, a klesana iznutra i izvana, od temelja sve do drvenih spojnica, a vani sve do velikog predvorja.
10 the foundations were of special stones, huge stones, of ten and eight cubits,	10 Temelji su im bili od birana, velikog kamena: od deset i od osam lakata,
11 and, above these, special stones, cut to measure, and cedar wood-	11 a nadgradnja od birana, po mjeri klesana kamena i od cedrovine.
12 and, on the outside, the great court had three courses of dressed stone round it and one course ofcedar beams; so also had the inner court of the Temple of Yahweh and the vestibule of the Temple.	12 A tri su reda klesanog kamena i red cedrovih greda okruživali veliko predvorje, a tako i unutrašnje predvorje doma Jahvina.
13 King Solomon sent for Hiram of Tyre;	13 Salomon posla po Hirama iz Tira.
14 he was the son of a widow of the tribe of Naphtali, but his father had been a Tyrian, a bronzeworker.He was a highly intel igent craftsman, skil ed in al types of bronzework. He came to King Solomon and did althis work for him.	14 Bio je to sin udovice iz plemena Naftalijeva, ali mu otac bijaše iz Tira, kovač mjedi. Bio je pun vještine, umijeća i znanja da svašta izrađuje od mjedi. Dođe on kralju Salomonu i sav mu posao izradi.
15 He cast the two bronze pillars; the height of one pil ar was eighteen cubits, and a cord twelve cubitslong gave the measurement of its girth; so also was the second pil ar.	15 Salio je dva stupa od mjedi; jedan je stup bio visok osamnaest lakata, a koncem mjeren unaokolo imao je dvanaest lakata, isto tako i drugi.
16 He made two capitals of cast bronze for the tops of the pil ars; the height of one capital was five cubits,and the height of the other five cubits.	16 I načini dvije glavice od mjedi da se stave povrh stupova; jedna je glavica bila visoka pet lakata i druga je bila pet lakata visoka.
17 He made two sets of filigree to cover the moulding of the two capitals surmounting the pil ars, onefiligree for one capital and one filigree for the other.	17 Načini dva opleta u obliku pletera i lančaste žice da pokriju glavice na vrhu stupova; sedam za jednu glavicu i sedam za drugu.
18 He also made pomegranates: two rows of them round each filigree,four hundred in al ,	18 Onda izradi mogranje: bili su u dva reda oko svake mreže.
19 The capitals surrounding the pil ars were lily-shaped.	19 Glavice na vrhu stupova pred trijemom imale su oblik ljiljana, od četiri lakta.
20 applied on the raised moulding behind the filigree; there were two hundred pomegranates round onecapital and the same round the other capital.	20 Stajale su na oba stupa kod izbočine što je bila prema lančancu. Dvije stotine mogranja bilo je oko prve glavice i dvije stotine oko druge.
21 He erected the pil ars in front of the portico of the Temple, he erected the right-hand pil ar and named itJachin; he erected the left-hand pil ar and named it Boaz.	21 Podiže stupove pred trijemom Hekala; jedan postavi na desnu stranu i nazva ga Jahin; postavi drugi stup na lijevu stranu i dade mu ime Boaz.
22 Thus, the work on the pillars was completed.	22 Na samom vrhu stupova postavi izrađene ljiljane. I tako dovrši stupove.
23 He made the Sea of cast metal, ten cubits from rim to rim, circular in shape and five cubits high; a cordthirty cubits long gave the measurement of its girth.	23 Tada od rastaljene kovine izli more koje je od ruba do ruba mjerilo deset lakata; bilo je okruglo naokolo, pet lakata visoko, a u opsegu, mjereno vrpcom, imalo je trideset lakata.
24 Under its rim and completely encircling it were gourds surrounding the Sea; over a length of thirtycubits the gourds were in two rows, of one and the same casting with the rest.	24 Pod rubom mu bijahu uresi kao cvjetne čaške koje su ga optakale sasvim: po deset na lakat optakale su more unaokolo; cvjetne su čaške bile u dva reda i salivene s njim.
25 It rested on twelve oxen, three facing north, three facing west, three facing south, three facing east; onthese, their hindquarters al turned inwards, stood the Sea.	25 Počivalo je na dvanaest volova: tri su gledala na sjever, tri na zapad, tri na jug, a tri na istok; more je stajalo na njima i svi su stražnjim dijelom bili okrenuti unutra.
26 It was a hand's breadth in thickness, and its rim was shaped like the rim of a cup, lily-shaped. It couldhold two thousand measures.	26 Bilo je debelo pedalj, rub mu kao rub u čaše, kao cvijet, a moglo je primiti tri tisuće bata.
27 He made the ten bronze stands; each stand was four cubits long, four cubits wide, and three high.	27 Načinio je deset mjedenih podnožja; svako je podnožje bilo četiri lakta dugo, četiri lakta široko, a tri lakta visoko.
28 They were designed as fol ows; they had an undercarriage and crosspieces to the undercarriage.	28 Podnožja su bila ovako izrađena: imala su okvire, a okviri su stajali među preponama.

31 Its mouth measured one and a half cubits from where the shoulderings met to the top; its mouth wasround like a stand for a vessel, and on the mouth there were engravings too; the crosspieces, however, wererectangular and not round.	31 Gore, gdje su se držači sastavljali, bio je otvor podnožja; imao je lakat i pol; otvor je bio okrugao, u obliku ukrasne posude, a na njemu su bili uklesani i ukrasi; ali prepone bijahu četvrtaste, a ne okrugle.
32 The four wheels were under the crosspieces. The axles of the wheels were inside the stands; theheight of the wheels was one and a half cubits.	32 Četiri su točka bila pod preponom. Osovine im izlazile na podnožju; svaki točak bijaše visok lakat i pol.
33 The wheels were designed like chariot wheels: their axles, felloes, spokes and naves had al been cast.	33 Točkovi su bili slični točkovima običnih kola: njihove osovine, naplaci, paoci i glavčine – sve bijaše liveno.

35 At the top of the stand there was a support, circular in shape and half a cubit high; and on top of thestand there were lugs. 37 He made the ten stands like this: the same casting and the same measurements for all.	37 Tako načini deset podnožja: jednako salivenih, jednake veličine i oblika.
38 He made ten bronze basins; each basin held forty measures and each basin measured four cubits, onebasin to each of the ten stands.	38 I načini deset umivaonika od mjedi. Svaki je umivaonik sadržavao četrdeset bata, a svaki je umivaonik bio od četiri lakta; na svako od deset podnožja došao je po jedan umivaonik.
39 He arranged the stands, five on the right-hand side of the Temple, five on the left-hand side of theTemple; the Sea he placed on the right-hand side of the Temple, to the south east.	39 Postavi pet podnožja na desnoj strani Hrama, a pet na lijevoj strani Hrama; a more stavi s desne strane Hrama, prema jugoistoku.
40 Hiram made the ash containers, the scoops and the sprinkling bowls. He finished all the work that hedid for King Solomon on the Temple of Yahweh:	40 Hiram načini lonce, lopate i kotliće. Dovrši on sav posao što ga je obavljao kralju Salomonu za dom Jahvin:
41 Two pil ars; the two mouldings of the capitals surrounding the pil ars; the two sets of filigree to coverthe two mouldings of the capitals surmounting the pil ars;	41 dva stupa, okrugle glavice što su bile navrh stupova; dva opleta da pokriju dvije glavice što bijahu navrh stupova;
42 the four hundred pomegranates for the two sets of filigree -- two rows of pomegranates for each set offiligree;	42 četiri stotine mogranja za oba opleta; dva reda mogranja za svaki oplet da prekriju dvije glavice navrh stupova;
43 the ten stands and the ten basins on the stands;	43 deset podnožja i deset umivaonika na podnožjima;
44 the one Sea and the twelve oxen beneath the Sea;	44 jedno more i dvanaest volova pod njim;
45 the ash containers, the scoops, and sprinkling bowls. All these objects made by Hiram for KingSolomon for the Temple of Yahweh were of burnished bronze.	45 lonce, lopate i kotliće. Svi ti predmeti koje je Hiram načinio kralju Salomonu za dom Jahvin bili su od sjajne mjedi.
46 He made them by the process of sand casting, in the plain of the Jordan between Succoth andZarethan.	46 Kralj je zapovjedio da sve to lijevaju u kalupima od gline, u Jordanskoj dolini, između Sukota i Sartana.
47 There were so many of them, that the weight of the bronze was never calculated.	47 Na koncu je Salomon odredio da rasporede sve te predmete, a bijaše ih toliko da se nije mogla obračunati težina mjedi.
48 Solomon made all the objects designed for the Temple of Yahweh: the golden altar and the gold tablefor the loaves of permanent offering;	48 Salomon načini sve predmete koji su bili u domu Jahvinu: zlatni žrtvenik i zlatni stol na kojemu su stajali prineseni hljebovi;
49 the lamp-stands, five on the right and five on the left in front of the Debir, of pure gold; the floral work,the lamps, the tongs, of gold;	49 pet svijećnjaka s desne i pet s lijeve strane pred Debirom, od čistoga zlata; cvjetove, svjetiljke, usekače od zlata;
50 the basins, the snuffers, the sprinkling bowls, the incense ladles and the pans, of real gold; the doorpanels -- for the inner shrine -- that is, the Holy of Holies -- and for the Hekal, of gold.	50 vrčeve, noževe, kotliće, plitice i kadionice od čistoga zlata; stožere za vrata nutarnje dvorane – to je Svetinja nad svetinjama – i za vrata Hekala – to jest Hrama – sve od zlata.
51 Thus al the work done by King Solomon for the Temple of Yahweh was completed, and Solomonbrought in the gifts which his father David had consecrated; and he had the silver, the gold and the utensils putinto the treasuries of the Temple of Yahweh.	51 Tako bî priveden kraju sav posao što ga Salomon obavi za dom Jahvin. Salomon unese sve svete darove oca svoga Davida – srebro, zlato i posuđe – i stavi ih u riznicu doma Jahvina.
