Psalms 75

1 For the leader. Do not destroy! A psalm of Asaph; a song.	1 Del maestro de coro «No destruyas». Salmo de Asaf. Canto.
2 We thank you, God, we give thanks; we call upon your name, declare your wonderful deeds. You said:	2 Te damos gracias, oh Dios, te damos gracias; los que invocan tu Nombre narran tus maravillas.
3 "I will choose the time; I will judge fairly.	3 «En el momento que yo decida, juzgaré con rectitud.
4 The earth and all its inhabitants will quake, but I have firmly set its pillars." Selah	4 Se conmueve la tierra con todos sus habitantes, pero yo he afianzado sus columnas.
5 So I say to the boastful: "Do not boast!" to the wicked: "Do not raise your horns!	5 Digo a los arrogantes: "¡Basta de arrogancia!", y a los impíos: "¡No levanten la frente!",
6 Do not raise your horns against heaven! Do not speak arrogantly against the Rock!"	6 no levanten la frente contra el cielo ni hablen con actitud insolente».
7 For judgment comes not from east or from west, not from the desert or from the mountains,	7 Porque ni del oriente ni del occidente, ni del desierto ni de las montañas...
8 But from God who decides, who brings some low and raises others high.	8 ¡Dios es el único Juez, que a unos humilla, y a otros exalta!
9 Yes, a cup is in the LORD'S hand, foaming wine, fully spiced. When God pours it out, they will drain it even to the dregs; all the wicked of the earth must drink.	9 Hay una copa en la mano del Señor, con un vino espumante, lleno de aromas: la ofrece, y la sorben hasta el final, la beben todos los malvados de la tierra.
10 But I will rejoice forever; I will sing praise to the God of Jacob,	10 Pero yo me alegraré para siempre, cantaré al Dios de Jacob:
