3 O God, you rejected us, broke our defenses; you were angry but now revive us.	3 Du hast uns verworfen, o Gott, und zerschlagen. Du hast uns gezürnt. Richte uns wieder auf!
4 You rocked the earth, split it open; repair the cracks for it totters.	4 Erschüttert hast du das Land und gespalten. Heile seine Risse! Denn es kam ins Wanken.
5 You made your people go through hardship, made us stagger from the wine you gave us.	5 Du hast dein Volk hart geprüft, du gabst uns betäubenden Wein zu trinken.
6 Raise up a flag for those who revere you, a refuge for them out of bow shot. Selah	6 Für alle, die dich fürchten, hast du ein Zeichen aufgestellt, zu dem sie fliehen können vor dem Bogen. [Sela]
7 Help with your right hand and answer us that your loved ones may escape.	7 Hilf mit deiner Rechten, erhöre uns, damit die gerettet werden, die du so sehr liebst.
8 In the sanctuary God promised: "I will exult, will apportion Shechem; the valley of Succoth I will measure out.	8 Gott hat in seinem Heiligtum gesprochen: «Ich will triumphieren, will Sichem verteilen und das Tal von Sukkot vermessen.
9 Gilead is mine, mine is Manasseh; Ephraim is the helmet for my head, Judah, my own scepter.	9 Mein ist Gilead, mein auch Manasse, Efraim ist der Helm auf meinem Haupt, Juda mein Herrscherstab.
10 Moab is my washbowl; upon Edom I cast my sandal. I will triumph over Philistia."	10 Doch Moab ist mein Waschbecken, auf Edom werfe ich meinen Schuh, ich triumphiere über das Land der Philister.»
11 Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me into Edom?	11 Wer führt mich hin zu der befestigten Stadt, wer wird mich nach Edom geleiten?
12 Was it not you who rejected us, God? Do you no longer march with our armies?	12 Gott, hast denn du uns verworfen? Du ziehst ja nicht aus, o Gott, mit unseren Heeren.
13 Give us aid against the foe; worthless is human help.	13 Bring uns doch Hilfe im Kampf mit dem Feind! Denn die Hilfe von Menschen ist nutzlos.
14 We will triumph with the help of God, who will trample down our foes.	14 Mit Gott werden wir Großes vollbringen; er selbst wird unsere Feinde zertreten.
