2 when he fought against Aram-Naharaim and Aram-Zobah; and Joab, coming back, killed twelve thousand Edomites in the Valley of Salt.	2 Cuando luchó contra Aram Naharaim y contra Aram de Sobá, y Joab volvió para derrotar a Edom, en el valle de la Sal, dando muerte a doce mil hombres.
3 O God, you rejected us, broke our defenses; you were angry but now revive us.	3 ¡Oh Dios, tú nos has rechazado, nos has deshecho! Estabas irritado: ¡vuélvete a nosotros!
4 You rocked the earth, split it open; repair the cracks for it totters.	4 Hiciste temblar la tierra, la agrietaste: repara sus grietas, porque se desmorona.
5 You made your people go through hardship, made us stagger from the wine you gave us.	5 Impusiste a tu pueblo una dura prueba, nos hiciste beber un vino embriagador.
6 Raise up a flag for those who revere you, a refuge for them out of bow shot. Selah	6 Diste a tus fieles la señal de retirada, para que huyeran de los arqueros.
7 Help with your right hand and answer us that your loved ones may escape.	7 ¡Sálvanos con tu poder, respóndenos, para que se pongan a salvo tus predilectos!
8 In the sanctuary God promised: "I will exult, will apportion Shechem; the valley of Succoth I will measure out.	8 Dios habló desde su Santuario: «Yo repartiré triunfalmente a Siquem y distribuiré el valle de Sucot.
9 Gilead is mine, mine is Manasseh; Ephraim is the helmet for my head, Judah, my own scepter.	9 Mío es Galaad, Manasés me pertenece; Efraím es mi yelmo, mi cetro es Judá,
10 Moab is my washbowl; upon Edom I cast my sandal. I will triumph over Philistia."	10 Moab es la vasija donde yo me lavo; plantaré mis sandalias en Edom y cantaré victoria sobre Filistea».
11 Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me into Edom?	11 ¿Quién me llevará hasta la ciudad fortificada, quién me conducirá hasta Edom,
12 Was it not you who rejected us, God? Do you no longer march with our armies?	12 si tú, oh Dios, nos has rechazado y ya no sales con nuestro ejército?
13 Give us aid against the foe; worthless is human help.	13 Danos tu ayuda contra el adversario, porque es inútil el auxilio de los hombres.
14 We will triumph with the help of God, who will trample down our foes.	14 Con Dios alcanzaremos la victoria y él aplastará a nuestros enemigos.
