2 when he fought against Aram-Naharaim and Aram-Zobah; and Joab, coming back, killed twelve thousand Edomites in the Valley of Salt.	2 Cuando luchó contra Aram de Naharáyim y Aram de Sobá, y Joab, de vuelta, derrotó a Edom, en el valle de la Sal: doce mil hombres.
3 O God, you rejected us, broke our defenses; you were angry but now revive us.	3 Nos has rechazado, oh Dios, nos has deshecho, estabas irritado, ¡oh, vuélvete a nosotros!
4 You rocked the earth, split it open; repair the cracks for it totters.	4 Has sacudido la tierra, la has hendido; sana sus grietas, pues se desmorona.
5 You made your people go through hardship, made us stagger from the wine you gave us.	5 Hiciste ver a tu pueblo duras pruebas, nos diste a beber vino de vértigo.
6 Raise up a flag for those who revere you, a refuge for them out of bow shot. Selah	6 Diste a los que le temen la señal para que pudiesen escapar del arco. Pausa.
7 Help with your right hand and answer us that your loved ones may escape.	7 Para que tus amados salgan libres, ¡salva con tu diestra, respóndenos!
8 In the sanctuary God promised: "I will exult, will apportion Shechem; the valley of Succoth I will measure out.	8 Ha hablado Dios en su santuario: «Ya exulto, voy a repartir a Siquem, a medir el valle de Sukkot.
9 Gilead is mine, mine is Manasseh; Ephraim is the helmet for my head, Judah, my own scepter.	9 «Mío es Galaad, mío Manasés, Efraím, yelmo de mi cabeza, Judá, mi cetro,
10 Moab is my washbowl; upon Edom I cast my sandal. I will triumph over Philistia."	10 «Moab, la vasija en que me lavo. Sobre Edom tiro mi sandalia. ¡Canta, pues, victoria contra mí, Filistea!»
11 Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me into Edom?	11 ¿Quién me conducirá hasta la plaza fuerte, quién me guiará hasta Edom?
12 Was it not you who rejected us, God? Do you no longer march with our armies?	12 ¿No eres tú, oh Dios, que nos has rechazado, y ya no sales, oh Dios, con nuestras tropas?
13 Give us aid against the foe; worthless is human help.	13 Danos ayuda contra el adversario, que es vano el socorro del hombre.
14 We will triumph with the help of God, who will trample down our foes.	14 ¡Con Dios hemos de hacer proezas, y él hollará a nuestros adversarios!
