2 All you peoples, clap your hands; shout to God with joyful cries.	2 Ihr Völker alle, klatscht in die Hände; jauchzt Gott zu mit lautem Jubel!
3 For the LORD, the Most High, inspires awe, the great king overall the earth,	3 Denn Furcht gebietend ist der Herr, der Höchste, ein großer König über die ganze Erde.
4 Who made people subject to us, brought nations under our feet,	4 Er unterwirft uns Völker und zwingt Nationen unter unsre Füße.
5 Who chose a land for our heritage, the glory of Jacob, the beloved. Selah	5 Er wählt unser Erbland für uns aus, den Stolz Jakobs, den er liebt. [Sela]
6 God mounts the throne amid shouts of joy; the LORD, amid trumpet blasts.	6 Gott stieg empor unter Jubel, der Herr beim Schall der Hörner.
7 Sing praise to God, sing praise; sing praise to our king, sing praise.	7 Singt unserm Gott, ja singt ihm! Spielt unserm König, spielt ihm!
8 God is king over all the earth; sing hymns of praise.	8 Denn Gott ist König der ganzen Erde. Spielt ihm ein Psalmenlied!
9 God rules over the nations; God sits upon his holy throne.	9 Gott wurde König über alle Völker, Gott sitzt auf seinem heiligen Thron.
10 The princes of the peoples assemble with the people of the God of Abraham. For the rulers of the earth belong to God, who is enthroned on high.	10 Die Fürsten der Völker sind versammelt als Volk des Gottes Abrahams. Denn Gott gehören die Mächte der Erde; er ist hoch erhaben.
