2 All you peoples, clap your hands; shout to God with joyful cries.	2 Tous les peuples, battez des mains, acclamez Dieu avec des cris de joie!
3 For the LORD, the Most High, inspires awe, the great king overall the earth,	3 Car le Seigneur, le Très-Haut, est redoutable, il est Grand Roi sur toute la terre.
4 Who made people subject to us, brought nations under our feet,	4 À son ordre les peuples nous sont soumis, les nations sont sous nos pieds.
5 Who chose a land for our heritage, the glory of Jacob, the beloved. Selah	5 C’est lui qui nous a choisi notre lot, c’est notre gloire, il aime le peuple de Jacob.
6 God mounts the throne amid shouts of joy; the LORD, amid trumpet blasts.	6 Voici que Dieu monte en fanfare, le Seigneur s’élève au son du cor.
7 Sing praise to God, sing praise; sing praise to our king, sing praise.	7 Chantez pour Dieu, chantez, chantez pour notre Dieu, chantez!
8 God is king over all the earth; sing hymns of praise.	8 Car Dieu est roi sur toute la terre, chantez pour lui de votre mieux.
9 God rules over the nations; God sits upon his holy throne.	9 Dieu va régner sur les nations, depuis son trône, siège de la sainteté.
10 The princes of the peoples assemble with the people of the God of Abraham. For the rulers of the earth belong to God, who is enthroned on high.	10 Voici venir les princes des peuples, ils s’unissent au peuple du Dieu d’Abraham; oui, Dieu est le maître des grands de la terre, bien haut, dans les hauteurs!
