1 For the leader. A psalm of David.	1 Del maestro de coro. Salmo. De David.
2 LORD, the king finds joy in your power; in your victory how greatly he rejoices!	2 Yahveh, en tu fuerza se regocija el rey; ¡oh, y cómo le colma tu salvación de júbilo!
3 You have granted him his heart's desire; you did not refuse the prayer of his lips. Selah	3 Tú le has otorgado el deseo de su corazón, no has rechazado el anhelo de sus labios. Pausa.
4 For you welcomed him with goodly blessings; you placed on his head a crown of pure gold.	4 Pues le precedes de venturosas bendiciones, has puesto en su cabeza corona de oro fino;
5 He asked life of you; you gave it to him, length of days forever.	5 vida te pidió y se la otorgaste, largo curso de días para siempre jamás.
6 Great is his glory in your victory; majesty and splendor you confer upon him.	6 Gran gloria le da tu salvación, le circundas de esplendor y majestad;
7 You make him the pattern of blessings forever, you gladden him with the joy of your presence.	7 bendiciones haces de él por siempre, le llenas de alegría delante de tu rostro.
8 For the king trusts in the LORD, stands firm through the love of the Most High.	8 Sí, en Yahveh confía el rey, y por gracia del Altísimo no ha de vacilar.
9 Your hand will reach all your enemies; your right hand will reach your foes!	9 Tu mano alcanzará a todos tus enemigos, tu diestra llegará a los que te odian;
10 At the time of your coming you will drive them into a furnace. Then the LORD'S anger will consume them, devour them with fire.	10 harás de ellos como un horno de fuego, el día de tu rostro; Yahveh los tragará en su cólera, y el fuego los devorará;
11 Even their descendants you will wipe out from the earth, their offspring from the human race.	11 harás perecer su fruto de la tierra, y su semilla de entre los hijos de Adán.
12 Though they intend evil against you, devising plots, they will not succeed,	12 Aunque ellos intenten daño contra ti, aunque tramen un plan, nada podrán.
13 For you will put them to flight; you will aim at them with your bow.	13 Que tú les harás volver la espalda, ajustarás tu arco contra ellos.
14 Arise, LORD, in your power! We will sing and chant the praise of your might.	14 ¡Levántate, Yahveh, con tu poder, y cantaremos, salmodiaremos a tu poderío!
